Front desk staff was friendly and checked in was uneventful. Parking can be tight. Busy and the underground parking space is so small and definitely looking for a space at the outdoor parking area if you are driving a car bigger than mid size. There is a plaza across the street that has a sizable grocery store and some fast food joint in case you need to pick up some supplies.

The only quibble I have about the bathroom is that when you're showering water splashes onto the floor. I guess that's what the bath mat is for. Depending on where I am going to spend time in Calgary I may or may not stay here again, just because it is a bit further from downtown.

The bar looks into the inner workings of the kitchen so you can really feel part of the process. Service was excellent. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Of note is they don't make you feel rushed, they are attentive but not intrusive. The food is amazing. Both of us were in the mood for a burger so we shared the Starbelly and Grilled Chicken burger. The kitchen took the extra step to divide both, giving us a chance to try both individually. I can't say enough about this place and I do hope they open a similar concept in the north.

Two perfectly cooked poached eggs sit on top of a creamy guacamole for mixed with a herb vinaigrette and topped with feta cheese crumbles. The whole thing is set on a piece of rosemary focaccia which is sturdy enough to support all the gooey stuff. To die for. I only ate half, and took the other half home. Well the only Reno that was done was the pizza oven, which in turn seems to break down a lot. Over the last few months the food and atmosphere has gone way down hill. It feel like the pub that you go when you are sad. I won't even order food now as it is worse quality than fast food with a heavier price tag. I really do hope this pub gets an eye opener of how far they have gone down hill and start to make changes. But if not I will be avoiding going here as it's just not worth the money.
