    Kids at the creek

I can't believe this place doesn't have more reviews! What a gem! We originally planned to stay two nights but loved it so much we stayed an extra night. We are on a sixth month trip in our fifth wheel and this was the 8th campground we've stayed at so far. By far our favorite one. The atmosphere was quiet and very pleasant. We were able to choose whatever space we wanted. We stayed next to the creek. Each day my kids would catch crawdads, swim and have a blast. We could enjoy the creek view from our trailer. There is a large lawn in the center of the park to play games and let the kids run. I have 5 year old twins and they adored the community campfire every night. They have very nice bbqs and a real outdoor fireplace to cozy next up to. Every night the guests would all gather during cocktail hour and converse in front of the fire. We had so much fun meeting new people. It was neat that even people from around the area come and stay for a few weeks at a time because it's so nice and relaxing. We really enjoyed gathering in the reck room and watching the football game together. Lots of Oregon fans! :) The owners here have put their heart and soul into this place and it shows.

No complaints on this R V park. Owners are great. Park is clean. Bathrooms and laundry are spotless. Sites are level, all have a nice bench. There are inside games, outside games, a nice office inside, large grassy areas, easy access to the little river, and crawdad fishin.Dog friendly. Good Wi Fi and tv. This is our favorite park to come to. Peaceful and friendly and safe.. We even found a great dzert social one night. Fun way to meet others, and get to know the wonderful owners, Rob and Idi. This is a smaller park, but a really nice park. We are staying here on each trip out. Also location is great. Between Roseburg and the coast.. Yes, we do come back as much as we can.

This is a wonderful little camp ground we stumbled on, a must place to stay when going to or coming from the coast!

The check in was easy, our host attendant , gave us clear instructions to our airstream. We were a bit confused the first day and evening about how to contact someone after hours. I kept getting the bot when I went on to the website. Finally when I googled Bay Point Landing General store, I found that part of the site. From then on it was a breeze to getting help. The airstream was well stocked. Dishware, glasses, utensils, cookware and cooking utensils. Linens were clean, we even had lovely doggy baskets for our pups. Complete with towels, dishes, treats, leashes and sheets to cover bed and sofa. They have activities everyday to attend. We did the happy hour the first night, it was very nice sitting looking over the water and enjoying a glass or two of wine. I was grateful for the broom that was in the airstream, sweep out the RV multiple times a day. The airstream comes with dish rags and dishes towels, but no dish soap you can purchase that at the General store. This is not glamping, as some reviews seemed to think. But it is a step above RVing in a state park. There are nice amenities and can make as many improvements as you want, but they cost. We were happy with the close proximity to the state parks, restaurants and grocery stores. We look forward to our next stay at Bay Point Landing.

There are two laundry rooms, as well as clean and convenient showers and bathrooms. The manager, Josh, and the maintenance manager, Casey, do an outstanding job of making residents feel welcome. They add a personal touch to their interactions with everyone who calls this park home, which really sets this place apart. Thorough background checks ensure a safe and friendly community, and even the overnight guests seem to leave with smiles on their faces based on what I've observed. For visitors, I highly recommend requesting spaces 1, 2, or 3. These spacious pull-through spots are perfect for larger rigs and are conveniently located closer to the boat ramp and beaches. As I always suggest, ask Josh for tips on the best fishing spots on the river. He's a great resource for finding hot spots for steelhead, salmon, and bass.

This place is beautiful, with a lot of awesome long term renters. Love the accesses to the river,…read moreand the affordability of the space. I was surprised to learn the freeway isn't as loud as you would expecting being so close to it. I am disappointed in a couple of things that keep coming up: The showers and bathrooms are not very clean. They seem to get a light cleaning regularly, but not a deep scrub, and the smell of mold/mildew is persistent. ***Owners took off door stops to showers residents used to he8lp air them out, and now it's almost impossible to breath in the showers because the mold/mildew smell is so strong. There is a huge issue with garbage-there isn't enough dumpsters or they don't get picked up often enough, so there is always garbage outside of the dumpster until the host comes and jumps on it to make it compact down enough to fit (OSHA hazard!!) Water is a huge issue in this park, between the owners being upset with how much we use in our spaces to the sprinklers not watering grass but the road we drive in to the fact that drinking the tap water actually gives me heartburn! I am so excited to see this place continue to improve, from what I understand this place used to have a lot of problems but honestly those are the only issues I see! The host did try hard to be on top of all the details, and was always open to hearing what's going on in the park. ***There is no longer any host to the park because of "Covid-19 restrictions" being imposed on businesses. It's all faceless and online to book a stay, and there is an email posted and message phone for contacting the owners for any issues.
