Ordering windows took a few weeks and teams on install day moved swiftly and kept the area clean after! I also want to note that we live on the 3rd floor of a condo building and many contractors said they could not install and/or needed additional materials, external infrastructure and costs to do the project, but Jacob made it seamless with bringing windows up the stairs, and doing an internal install, which incurred no extra install costs. This was also great as it did not impact our neighbors and kept the project contained and clean. There's no sales pitch, used car salesman tactics, demonstrations that have little real-world results, etc. With other Window companies, they push their "Cadillac" windows that give a marginal performance increase for an exponential cost. Not with Best Windows. I knew beforehand they installed Kensington brand windows. They started with the manufacturer's basic line. I inquired about the mid-level line and John provided his input on why he didn't think they were really worth the additional investment. John's pricing was straightforward. There was no "oh you get a Yelp discount" or "oops I forgot to add a window to your quote, I'll throw that in for free." It was refreshing to talk to a non-pushy company for once. Their final price was less than half of our first quote, as they said they could just replace the glass packs instead of putting in new frames (that we didn't want anyway). They showed up on time, completed the job in 2 days (short of the estimated 3) and did an amazing job. They had a Ukrainian crew of 5 guys that worked extremely well together and were very respectful of our house. Their glass also has a very good warranty compared to some of the other quotes. Lake cook has continuously blamed the recent heavy rains and architects design of the house as being the issue.
