I was receiving Cortisol injections to mask the pain, but it was not until Silicon Valley Chiropractic that I was able to truly alleviate my pain without medications. I highly recommend you stop pain and nerve medications and come here instead for a real fix. I ended up trying their DRX9000 non-surgical spinal decompression treatment, and it made a huge difference. My sciatica is completely gone now. I honestly wish I had done this years ago because I did everything else, and this is the only thing that worked. I'm exercising again, and I can sit and drive without pain, and I'm back to playing pickleball! Everyone there has been really nice and helpful too. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone dealing with a herniated disc, sciatica, or ongoing low back pain. They also have shockwave therapy with the StemWave machine. Funny enough, the person who first told me about this office had gone there for shockwave therapy for her knee and had a really good experience. That's actually what made me decide to give them a try. Very happy I did! I see Dr. Riley and Dr. Parvini, they take such good care of me! When I have had emergencies the other doctors have also offered their availability too to make sure I get fixed. I have seen all of them and they are all wonderful! Amazing staff. If you have a pinched nerve - you are in pain or have trouble moving your neck or your neck muscles cannot relax - come to these neck whisperers and stop torturing yourself. They will adjust your neck and unpinch your nerves. Stop masking it with Advil and Tylenol people! You do not have to live in pain, come get a back and neck adjustment! You deserve to be able to look over your shoulder without pain. Dr. Parvini was really kind the other week and was able to get me in quickly for a neck adjustment. I slept in an odd position that caused my neck to pinch my right shoulder muscle, I literally could not raise my right arm more than halfway up, but after Dr. Parvini gave me a good crack I immediately was able to give him a high-five! Note: You need to have a 1st evaluation appointment that takes longer but it sets you up so the doctors there know exactly what to work on when you come in. You want to have this appointment to learn more about your spine. Dr. Riley was able to point out injuries I did not know I had from a previous car accident without me even telling her I was recently in one. Amazing team with detailed work #neckwhisperers

It had gotten to the point where it was affecting my daily life, and I was having a hard time walking and staying active. Before making an appointment, I asked my obgyn if prenatal chiropractic care was something that would be ok, and she encouraged me to give it a try and I am so glad that I did! I had seen from other reviews that Dr. Chun has experience with prenatal chiropractic care and it really shows. His adjustments are very gentle, and Ive always felt completely comfortable and safe throughout my pregnancy. After a couple of visits my lower back felt so much better and I was able to get back to my normal activities like walking and working out without the constant discomfort. Ive continued seeing him throughout my pregnancy, and it's made such a difference in how I've been feeling! If you're pregnant and dealing with back or sciatic pain (or honestly any pregnancy related pain) I highly recommend Dr. Daniel Chun. He is knowledgeable, caring, and has helped make my pregnancy so much more comfortable.

I wanted to share my experience at Good Life Chiropractic because, overall, I really appreciated…read morethe kindness and professionalism of the team, and I think the clinic has a lot of potential to provide an even stronger patient experience. I had been dealing with lower back pain for several days that wasn't resolving on its own. Even though Yelp indicated the clinic was closed, I called and someone kindly answered the phone and was able to fit me in for a same-day appointment as long as I could come in quickly. I really appreciated how accommodating they were. The clinic itself was very clean, organized, and welcoming. The chairs and equipment looked new and sturdy, and I noticed how much effort the team put into keeping everything tidy. The receptionist was very nice and friendly, and Fred, the technician who brought me back, was especially helpful. He was knowledgeable and took the time to ask relevant questions about my back pain and situation. I felt like he genuinely wanted to understand what I was experiencing. When the doctor came in, she was professional and clearly knowledgeable in her field. My main reason for not giving the experience a higher rating is that the interaction with the doctor felt somewhat rushed. The actual adjustment itself took approximately 5-7 minutes, and while I understand that chiropractic visits can be brief, I still had several questions I wanted to ask. At times, I felt like I had to quickly get a question in before she was ready to leave the room. What made this a little more confusing for me was that immediately afterward, I noticed there didn't appear to be anyone else waiting in the lobby. That left me wondering if there was a reason I felt so rushed, because I would have really appreciated another few minutes to explain my job duties and work and what may have contributed to my situation. I don't expect a lengthy appointment, but I do think patients benefit from having enough time to feel heard and leave with their questions answered. One other piece of feedback I wanted to mention is privacy. During both my time with Fred and with Dr. K, the door remained open, and I could hear conversations taking place throughout the clinic. I am actually somewhat hard of hearing, so I found it interesting that I was still able to hear other conversations outside the room. I understand that every clinic has its own setup and workflow, but having the door closed during patient consultations, when possible, might provide a greater sense of privacy and allow patients to focus more comfortably on their conversation with the provider. The pricing felt fair, and I genuinely appreciated the entire front-office team and how clean and organized the clinic was. My feedback is really coming from a place of wanting to see the clinic succeed because I think there is a lot of knowledge and potential within the team.

This is more for the process and office experience than the quality of the care…read more First thing is that they ask you to enter your credit card details in a form which is neither secure nor necessary when you will be paying in person during the appointment. When you tell this to them, they say it's just policy. Policies that aren't secure or user friendly should be called out by customers. Second thing is that the front office person is exceptionally rude and lazy. It's funny how those two qualities always go together. A receptionist is supposed to be at the front office during work hours. When a person comes up and says they can do the form in person, you don't insist that they do it online if you care about your business. In hindsight it was good that I didn't enter my credit card details because I didn't end up using the service. Oh ... And the plaza with their office is dingy.

Dr. Vid gets you back to doing what you love - but you've got to do the work too…read more After a significant fall that left me with limited mobility and daily pain, I knew I needed more than just quick fixes. I wanted a provider who would help me understand the biomechanical root cause of my issues, not just treat symptoms. Dr. Vid Jindal absolutely delivered on that front. What sets Dr. Vid apart is his multi-modal, evidence-based approach. During my initial visit, he performed comprehensive movement assessments that revealed patterns I never knew existed. As someone who works in tech, I appreciated how he explained exactly what each test indicated and how different movement dysfunctions were contributing to my pain. His extensive certifications beyond his DC degree (ART, Graston Technique, SFMA assessments, and more) were immediately apparent in how thoroughly he evaluated my condition. Here's what you need to know going in: Dr. Vid will be completely upfront that lasting results require your active participation. This isn't a "come in twice a week forever" situation - it's a corrective/functional care program where the real work happens between visits. I'll be honest, initially I wasn't thrilled about adding exercises to my daily routine. But Dr. Vid serves as both coach and advocate, helping you understand exactly why each movement matters for your long-term health. The results speak for themselves. Even with me admittedly not completing my "homework" 100% of the time at first, I noticed significant improvements in my upper body mobility and reduced extremity pain within just a few sessions. As I became more consistent with the at-home exercises, our progress accelerated dramatically. What impressed me most is Dr. Vid's commitment to education. Every session includes both hands-on treatment for soft tissue dysfunctions and spine/extremity adjustments, plus time spent helping you understand how to prevent re-injury and maintain your progress independently. Unlike providers who just want to cycle you through, he's genuinely invested in getting you to that "state of ready" where you can live actively and pain-free. If you're someone who wants to take an active role in your recovery and values understanding the "why" behind your treatment, you'll thrive here. Even if that's not your natural inclination, Dr. Vid's realistic approach to setting expectations and his genuine passion for patient education make the investment worthwhile. Bottom line: a few months of focused work with Dr. Vid has given me tools and knowledge about my body that I'll use for life. Highly recommend if you're ready to put in the effort for lasting results.

Thanks to him, I went from debilitating foot pain to dancing freely for hours in four-inch heels. To me, it's nothing short of miraculous. I came to Dr. Vid after running out of options. After a decade of dancing, I developed foot pain that no podiatrist, shoe, cream, or orthotic could fix. When I first contacted him, my expectations were admittedly low. The pain had been intense, and here I was, entrusting myself to someone who was neither a dancer nor a specialist in life on very high heels. How much I underestimated him! From the very first session, I realized I was in expert hands -- with someone who wouldn't just look at my foot, but assess my entire body, identifying root causes I'd never considered. What followed were focused, hands-on sessions to address the problem areas, followed by active physical therapy. He taught me exactly where and how to build strength to protect my body from future injury. I began to understand that if I want to stay pain-free -- especially under high-stress demands -- I need to take an active role in caring for and strengthening my body. And Dr. Vid showed me precisely how to do that. Dr. Vid won't give you a magic pill, an invasive surgery, or an overnight fix -- because he knows those only mask the issue and can even make it worse over time. He won't have you come in for quick sessions only to keep returning with the same problem. What he will do is zoom in on your body, identify the root cause, treat you holistically, and equip you with an arsenal of tools that will leave you feeling stronger and healthier than you have in years. His expertise is astonishing, his knowledge vast, his encouragement unwavering, and his positivity contagious. Finding Dr. Vid changed everything. What he gave me wasn't just relief - it was the strength and knowledge to keep doing what I love for years to come.

Coming from someone who has seen chiropractors and massage therapists since age 12 (now age 44), I know a thing or two. However this was refreshingly different. I felt heard, understood, seen, and all the things you wish for in any given relationship! However I don't know about you as the reader , but for me I'd MUCH rather be MOST LISTENED TO and understood BY THE ONE who is going to help in (hopefully) making me feel better not just physically but mentally as well, by reliving the pain in my body. Amen right ? Well that's what has happened for me here. From my over explanatory phone call about my pain (I'm sorry and grateful to and for the woman who had to listen on the other end) to my over explanations to JONATHAN , who by the way is by far the best massage therapist IVE EVER HAD (and I do not ever LIE nor would I ever joke about pain management /relief). Jonathan truly listened, heard and understood me. That was blatantly clear by how he worked on my body. Done deal he's the best! Wow, what a trip to see my 2009 review…read more Well, it's 2023 and I can report back on what a decade and a half of proactive care with a chiropractor for PREVENTATIVE measures has done, as well as handle the typical soft tissue damage you get from an unlucky car accident or being dumb on the basketball court with your knees. Any how, when I first learned about the NUCCA modality, it seemed fanciful...like how can a vertebrate "remember" what proper alignment is? Really? We just gotta align the Atlas vertebrate and the whole spinal column follows in suit? Yea. It's crazy but I hold alignment for years at a time now. And I'm brutally active. Judo, jiu jitsu, surfing, lifting plus running and some tennis. Do you know what a rear naked choke is? It's a submission hold on your neck that should destroy chiropractic alignments. Nope. You can suplex me into the ground and I'll just stand right back up. I have other complicated hobbies that require lifting heavy equipment nonstop for an hour or two at a time. But yea, I felt off slightly from a heavy sparring day a few weeks ago and my neck hasn't quite been the same. Came to see Christine yesterday and wow, Atlas is holding. Just need some minor tune ups with the activator. And...I LOVE THE ACTIVATOR. I should schedule a session where I just ask Christine to hit every spot, doesn't matter if it needs it or not, but just hit everything, go to sleep and wake up freaking reborn. For me at least, I can feel it working. I've always had a good kinesthetic sense of my body but it just feels so much better. It's no placebo. It turns on everything. For those 15-30 seconds with each click of the activator, it's hard to describe the feeling. I don't experience it anywhere else. My circulation improves immediately in the target area and there's a bunch of other things happening...I don't have the medical knowledge to correctly describe except know that something is happening. It makes me relaxed, a bit tired and wanting a nap. All good things to me. But yea, I saw my old testimonial letter on the wall and I still stand by it. Even more so than before because I'm head and shoulders stronger and healthier than my peers. I don't think you understand how crazy you have to be to WANT to wrestle bigger, stronger and younger athletes every single day and take no damage. I'm close to 40 (wow) and gosh, not to brag, but I can still dunk basketballs at six feet tall. So yea, this wasn't cheap or convenient. But gosh, I am really grateful to my younger self for being open-minded and consistent with a great healer who comes from a great family of healers. There's been side benefits like just thumbing through Christine's book collection in the lounge! The Okinawa study was my favorite. I still remember all the top points...some three dozen characteristics that the southern Japanese do differently from the Western diet. Just..what an education aside from mainstream medical stuff. I'm really grateful. Christine should be 1000x busier than she is. She is that good and talented. And gosh, chiropractic care is just magical and alien at the same time. Even my doctor homies admit it..."unfortunately, it works and MD's can be relied on to deny/refuse to understand it." Whatever, not my problem doctors develop sudden ivory towers to hide in, I'll pay out of pocket happily.

I had a very disappointing and stressful experience with the front desk person at this office…read more The issue started with poor communication around billing. I was initially told that my copay would be $30 for Dr. Helen and $20 for Dr. Deanne, and that my insurance had been checked. About a month later, I found out through my insurance that I was actually responsible for 30% of the bill. When I brought this up, the front desk person first denied saying that, and later offered to settle the account based on the $30 copay amount. However, there was no apology or clear explanation for the confusion. We had also discussed that the 4/30 bill would be handled later once I received the insurance check, since my card had already been charged the full $150 for that visit. Yesterday, when I tried to bring this up again, the front desk person would not let me explain and kept insisting that my bills had already been taken care of. She also said she does not handle billing, but did not clearly explain who does or who I should contact. What made the experience worse was the attitude. When I tried to understand who handles billing, bookings, and patient communication, she responded defensively and said, "Oh, now you are saying I don't do anything," which was not what I said. I was simply trying to understand who was responsible for what, especially since she had said she does not handle billing or appointments for all doctors. The most upsetting part was being personally insulted and called a "sad person who makes other people sad." That is completely inappropriate in any service environment, especially in a healthcare or wellness practice where patients come for care and support. This was not the first time she referred to me as a "sad person," and it felt dismissive and disrespectful, especially as someone coming in with severe shoulder pain and trying to resolve basic billing and appointment issues. The communication around appointments was also frustrating. When I switched to Dr. Deanne and asked how to book with her, I was told to check online with no clear guidance. After asking again, I was eventually sent a link by text, but only after being told, "I don't handle her appointments." Yesterday, I checked in and sat in the doctor's office for several minutes, but the doctor was not informed. I had to go back and ask twice, and the front desk person clearly seemed upset about it. The last two months of dealing with this front desk experience have been extremely frustrating. Patients deserve clear communication, patience, and basic respect when trying to resolve billing and appointment issues especially when it's caused by the provider . Overall, this experience fell far short of the level of professionalism and respect patients deserve
