Agree with other reviews he's terrible to work with on insurance. My insurance covered 100% for prenatal massages with a $10 copay and he had me sign something saying if for some reason insurance paid out less than $100 I would have to pay the difference. I assumed that could only occur if insurance for some reason covered less than 100% and I would pay the uncovered portion. Nope. First, insurance rejected my claim saying he was out of network. Next I resubmitted each claim and after confirming he was in network they paid him $70. They also sent me a coverage report that showed 100% covered by insurance and I owed a $10 copay. I actually ended up paying $30 because even though insurance covered 100% it was less than $100 so I had to pay the difference. I complained to my insurance and they went to investigate. They came back and said he's not actually in network for prenatal massages, he's just submitting claims on behalf of the message therapist who is out of network. They weren't sure if that was allowed and went off researching some more before eventually determining he could charge me more than the $10 copay because I signed an agreement. Then they gave me a list of chiropractors who would honestly in network cover 100% of prenatal massages with a $10 copay but by then I had already given birth. This whole thing took me like 6 months of back and forth with Dr. Cady and my insurance to figure out and honestly my insurance was easier to work with than this guy. read more

I felt more that I was leaving a physical therapy appointment when I was done versus other adjustments that I've had, where there's no offer for continuity of care. By this chiropractor admissions, I was billed $75 and refunded $60? How can a business validate health coverage and then turnaround and bill a patient where there's no bill? I'm not upset over my health insurance coverage but, I was upset over this chiropractors services. This chiropractor had no business charging my insurance. I validated my coverage first and should have had a zero dollar bill. I had to go through the trouble of clearing the situation up when I discovered my insurance was being billed. read more

I have been going to Dr. Cady on and off for about 10 years and can honestly say that I hope he never retires. He is extremely thorough in using various techniques including electrostimulation, ultrasound and manual adjustments as needed. Due to the Covid-19 situation, I have been working remotely and now have back problems due to poor ergonomics at home and so I have been seeing him twice a week for the last month. He is doing everything possible to keep patients safe, including taking temperatures, decontaminating rooms between patients and wearing a mask. Dr. Cady has rescued me a number of times when I have tweaked something in my back and even in my arm (tennis elbow). I would not hesitate to recommend him. read more

I was lucky enough to come across Dr. Cady through my employer's workers compensation network. I hurt my back at work and have a couple bulging discs w/ sciatica. I have been able to see Dr. Cady about one to two times a week over the previous two months. While finding Dr. Cady was rather fortuitous, I am very glad I did! He has been great. He is very knowledgeable and informative, with effective treatments and a helpful stretching and exercise plan for home. I am thankful to report that my pain is gone and my range of motion is (mostly) back to normal. I know I will have to take care of the issue moving forward, but Dr. Cady got me back to work! This is also a big deal given the current Covid-19 environment. Dr. Cady has done a great job keeping his office open, clean and safe, assessing his patients for fevers and continually disinfecting surfaces. He also has an easygoing personality and is easy to talk to, making visits enjoyable. On another note, insurance is often a complicated process, especially through workers compensation. As it so happens, the insurance provider through my worker's comp was making it difficult for Dr. Cady to collect compensation. There was a significant delay in the process, which may actually still be ongoing? Dr. Cady could have easily refused to treat me any longer until he received compensation. But, he didn't and he continued to treat me with no hesitation. This is a true testament to his integrity and character, and willingness to help his patients improve and feel better. After visiting this doctor one time with health insurance and deciding not to go back for unpleasant reasons during the visit I get a charge for $1,500 six months down to road sent to collections! After months and months talking to the credit bureau they had finally took it off my report. My co-pay was only $10. This Dr. go's behind your back and will charge you crazy amounts to your name. My friend is going through the same situation with the same doctor. This is not a doctor it's a scammed institution to take your money. Don't go!!! read more

He feels very...by the book. Different people have different bodies, and different bodies need to have different types of treatment. He doesn't seem to do his own research, or explore different cures. His treatment is sort of "1 size fits all" -- "it's what the book says". He's also very biased, and talks down all other forms of medicine. You can feel he is doing this for a living, but not really for the sake of helping people. I am young, healthy, and at the brink of my quarter-life-crisis but have unfortunately been blessed with a back of an 80-year-old due to multiple car and bike accidents. Dr. Cady's staff and services make up for it and I am forever grateful for the medical swedish massages I have received in the last 3 years. Andrea, the front desk manager is the sweetest assistant I know and takes her job very seriously. She is consistent at calling me the day before an appointment and has never once screwed in scheduling. The clinic has gone through a high turnover of massagers who grumble about their lives and low hourly pay, but they are all sweet and well-screened. And Dr. Cady is a great chiropractor. He is my 4th in the last 3 years and the best I've had in two states so far. Minus one star for the skidmarks I've seen on the walls (lack of cleaning?) and the electric massage pallates Dr. Cady recycles over and over with clients. read more

Dr Cady has provided to us a spine treatment and told that it is basic procedure which is covered by insurance. He is in network with our insurance, so I didnt expected any troubles. Insurance has replied that his treatment is experimental and declined bill. Doctor doesn't mind to his words and just forces us to pay a full price of treatment out of pocket. He says that it is for the first time in his life when insurance doesn't cover his work, but now I've check all reviews on google and yelp and he have had a lof of complains regarding billigs. Had to catch a long haul flight and woke up with a terrible stiff neck. Looked for a chiropractor in the area and many were closed due to the holiday WE. I was able to find an appointment on the fly with Dr Cady who welcomed me very warmly, visited me and made a first treatment that reduced my pain at least a little to make me catch the flight. He also advices stretching exercises that helped a great deal during the flight. Professional, confident, my visit with Dr Cady was very positive experience. I came here for my chronic neck pain and rotator cuff. I was initially skeptical about chiropractors, but my PCP said nothing could be done, it's just muscle tension and just to relax. Well I tried everything - massages (works, but only temporary), hot pads, consciously trying to relax, neck exercises, neck pillows, the gamut. Finally, I went to Dr. Cady from March 17 - May 10, about twice a week. Amazingly, my neck stopped bothering me. I didn't notice until my boyfriend commented that I've stopped complaining about my neck, and I was like ... oh yeah ... it hasn't hurt in a while! I stopped going cuz I went on vacation and my neck felt so normal that I thought I was cured. But of course, the bad habits that made my neck hurt (tight muscles from stress and chronic computer use, as well as playing hard sports) made it hurt again so I'm back. He put these electrode massager thingies on you - which I think are very beneficial. He had a substitute chiro one time who didn't use the electrodes and my neck was too tight to crack and I didn't feel as good as I did with Dr. Cady. He couldn't do much for my shoulder, but I'm just grateful I finally get some relief for my neck. I'm still doing exercises and working on relaxing, but I am going to consciously try to go to Dr. Cady once a week even though I get lazy sometimes and don't feel like driving there. I have been seeing Dr. Cady for five years now. He was first helping me with my chronic back and neck pain. After seeing Dr. Cady my back pain is now gone and only have occasional neck pain. My husband and I are currently now seeing him for pain from my recent car accident. Although this recovery time is long, I am already feeling much better and noticing a major difference. I received a referral to Dr. Scott Cady from an office of One Medical chiropractors I normally go to (in the past for ankle/shin injuries), since they're only doing remote work during the Shelter-In-Place order. The referrer said to me "You're in luck; he's both extremely good, *and* open right now." I'm so grateful he's open! I was in a car accident a month ago, and a week into it my neck was hurting a great deal (painful to lie down, work, etc). So I got the referral and went to see him. I've been seeing him twice a week, and as the other positive reviews have detailed (so I won't elaborate as much I would otherwise), he does electrostimulation, ultrasound, massage, icing or heating as needed, manual adjustments, and advised me on stretches. He's very knowledgeable and informative and kind, and explained a lot to me (about how to avoid long-term pain, what's happening in my body that causes the pains I describe, etc). Thanks to his work, I'm recovering well, and the awful permanent hunch that I'd developed after the accident is gone and my range of motion is coming back, even though my neck is still much more sensitive than before (as expected -- both the ER and my primary doctor told me to expect 8+ weeks to heal). His help has made a major difference in my recovery and return to health. I've been paying a $20 copay per visit (and he verified that my health insurance is covering the rest!), and have had none of the insurance issues that some people wrote they have. My first visit to Dr Cady was in September 2010 for my back. I had re-injured an old lumbar problem and he was able to see me right away. His office staff is very friendly and the manager explains everything carefully. Under my insurance, I received a full consultation regarding his exam and my X-rays. Dr Cady was thorough and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable with him. Dr Cady is a gentle adjustor of the spine, not too aggressive, and allows the healing process to happen over time. I have seen him regularly since to correct the old injury and I am very happy with the care I am receiving. I also get regular 'deep tissue' massages from his massage therapist, who is great at getting those muscles the way they need to be! She is strong and caring. I've had chronic neck and shoulder pain for as long as I can remember. I tried acupuncture and physical therapy and both didn't really work. Dr. Cady is the best chiropractor I've ever had, and I've relied on him to help me lead a normal life, able to work and support myself. I've had several serious back and neck injuries over the years, and deal with painful conditions that sometimes knocks me flat on my back for days at a time, not able to work and make a living. I tried an acupuncture practitioner and two other chiropractors for two or three years with no real lasting improvement or relief. The last chiropractor even heavily pushed a line of $80/bottle (vitamins/supplements) he sold out of his office - that nonsense didn't help me either. I found Dr. Cady about ten years ago, and he's been the only one to consistently give me quick relief and consistent improvement from my pain and condition. His treatments are thorough and tailored specifically each time. Several times I've needed additional treatment procedures during a visit, and he always gladly did it without hesitation or questions asked. In addition, he coaches you on many practices and exercises to help keep you pain-free. Dr. Cady truly cares about you and your condition, and isn't one of those chiropractors that only does just enough to keep you coming back month after month. The last time I needed to see him (after reinjuring myself), it had been 16 months since I last needed any treatment at all. I found Dr. Cady when I was looking for relief from an aching neck and shoulder discomfort. I had been going to physical therapy for weeks with little or no relief. A few years ago, I was having some ongoing back pain, and despite several friends' attempts to convince me that chiropractic care is pure bunk, I decided to give it a try and went to see Dr. Cady (pronounced like 'Katie'). Over the next year or so, I saw him for adjustments and heat/pulse therapy (which was so relaxing, I invariably fell asleep every session), and viola! -- the pain lessened and lessened, eventually dissipating altogether, and I've had zero issues since! I had a very severe lower back injury about 5 years back and I found Dr Cady. It was a blessing. I want to himin so.much of discomfort. He took care of the issue and in few sessions I was able to walk properly and feel absolutely good. What I really appreciate about Scott is that he is very accurate in diagnosing some of my discomforts from work and exercise. For more than fifteen years I have enjoyed the most effective professional and kind treatment from Dr. Cady. Recently, after a head-on collision which totaled two cars, I needed even more treatment than before. Dr. Cady was able to help me get better and be able to walk again. He is a highly effective professional that knows how to get rid of some of the most difficult cases such as mine. His ability to quickly understand and diagnosis the problem and to quickly treat is just superb! I mean this. After my accident, I could walk with great difficulties. My back and leg pains were excruciating. After just a few visits, my pain subsided a lot and I was able to walk again with little or no pain. As I had mentioned in my 2012 Yelp, Dr. Cady's treatment as well as his bedside manners are fantastic. I never forget that right after my recent accident, he said "Do not worry, we will fix your problem." And, this is what he has done extremely well. I started visiting Dr Cady towards the end of my first trimester of pregnancy. My midwife recommended visiting a chiro to help keep my pelvis properly aligned. I saw him for weekly adjustments followed by a massage from one of their massueses, Ma'Pu. I greatly looked forward to those weekly visits! Having an hour+ to spend lying on my ever-growing tummy on the special maternity pillow was a relief in itself. Dr. Cady has been treating me for a few years now. I first went to Dr. Cady when my TMJ became unbearable. The pain was so bad I could barely swallow without it hurting. It's been two years since I have seen Dr. Cady for this issue and I have had NO pain at all in the past two years. Recently I started seeing Dr. Cady for tendonitis in my right arm due to my desk job as an administrative assistant. The pain is starting to go away and I have full confidence that in a few months I will be pain free. Overall Dr. Cady seems very experienced in all aspects of the body, not just the back, which is great because I have full confidence that no matter what issues my body may throw at me Dr. Cady will be able to fix them.
