My wife and I have lived here at the apartment for a year now. We have had issues related to noise and maintenance. The management had been very accommodating to our needs. These apartments have gone downhill a bit. I lived there a while back and the parking was bad. I stopped by recently to visit a friend, and it was atrocious. People are parking outside the complex and walking in because they can't park where they live. read more

Was going to lease an apartment with Remington on 06/22/17. Started the application process on 6/13/2017 told me I would have a lease to sign on 6/19/2017 then the "computer went down" so I was told I would have a lease to sign in the morning on 6/22/17 and that they were getting the apartment ready on 6/21/17. waited until 1 on 6/22/17 and decided we would go else where. Don't waste your time and money with this place they scammed me out of my deposit which wasn't mentioned in the process. They told us if we could get the deposit back if it didn't work. There are other places that are real nice. Remember that Town Square looks like they're making case and associates hurt. More for your buck there! read more

Complex Amenities PROS - Pool however unheated - Business center with printer & fax - BBQ - Mini gym - Provided dog waste bags (not used by all occupants) CONS - No spa - You have to go to the office for USPS packages - Poor management Remington Apartments is in drivable range of nice restaurants & very conveniently located to shopping and the major freeway. My boyfriend took over the lease of someone who occupied a 2 bed 2-bath apartment for 4 years. The previous tenant enjoyed living at that apartment but when he re-signed his 5th year; he was relocated do to work. The 5th year of the apartment being occupied is when we noticed the apartment falling apart (hot water heater was bad, water pressure was terrible, rain gutter was lose & kept occupant awake, and the main security gate never worked). The issues were mentioned to management several times but they were never properly addressed. I would like to say that most of the office staff was outstanding, however the management was unkind and not easy to work with. When we had questions about moving out the tall lady with short hair (in the office closer to the main front door) was rude & inconsiderate of the fact that our apartment was occupied for 60 months. In our finals days, we hired a professional cleaner and were still charged for normal wear & tear of the apartment - I mean the apartment was lived-in & occupied for 5 years. Instead of a full security deposit refund they nit-picked small items to make a few more bucks. For example, we were charged for a dirty oven, which we cleaned, and the professional scrubbed. Over 5 years of use there will never be a perfectly clean looking oven. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this place of living community. I would like to say Steve the maintenance guy was able to fix smaller projects and completed them in a timely manner. He was polite, kind and always punctual. read more

If you're thinking of moving into a Case & Associates apartment, I would strongly encourage against it. We've had stuff missing after maintenance was here (then called liars when reported) , there is never parking unless you want to pay $75 a month, the hard water they use to water the grass will ruin your paint on your car and no matter how much you clean after your lease is up, you will NOT get your deposit back. These apartments are really beautiful and well maintained. The maintenance guys are awesome and very responsive. This apartment is in a great location for Amarillo. Building wise they are very nice inside, rooms are big, all electric,rent is good to but pet rent is added on top of rent and so is covered parking. They do not allow grills of any kind on the balconies or patios. Your dogs are not allowed to be kept on the patio without supervision. Dogs must be kept on leash (not many people follow this but the dogs around here are very well behaved) and they provide waste bags for you to pick up after dogs. If you take showers the hot water only lasts maybe 13 minutes. I think this may be because of the electric water heater but I don't know, we haven't said anything about this and I don't know if anyone else has this issue. Neighbors are nice but like any other apartments if you live on the bottom floor such as my boyfriend and I do, you do hear them walking across their apartment. You normally don't hear voices or TVs though, there has been one incident where I heard a dog bark all day because he was left on the patio, this was rough since I worked nights at the time and when I called to complain about it I was told it wasn't quiet hours yet which are at 10pm. The staff is friendly, but seem to be disorganized. My boyfriend and I had a somewhat inconvenient time moving in, we were told to come pick up the keys any time of the move in week so I took off of work 2 different times to try and pick up keys and it was a no go both times. We had some issues with assigned parking, we both have covered parking and for myself I was told an incorrect number. We got it fixed pretty quickly and haven't had an issue since. We did want garage spaces but we were told we had to have the apartment that was connected to it. Which is odd because there are more garages on the property than apartments connected. I don't know if this is incorrect information or if they only lease out half of them. And when we first asked we were told we weren't guaranteed a garage near our apartment. We gave up and just got regular covered parking. We also had an issue with a pet, we decided to adopt a dog about a month after we lived here and we had seen many dogs that didn't fit into the pet description (under 40lbs and a non violent breed) examples are German Shepard, Pit Bull, Golden retriever and a few others. These are all over 40lbs, we had found a dog that the adoption agency described as a lab mix but she was full grown. When we asked the staff they made a big fuss on her being a lab and that they said that there was no way she would be under 40lbs. This broke our hearts and when we brought up the other dogs they claimed they knew nothing about them and that the golden retriever was a service dogs. Service dogs have to have a vest when on duty. I have approached this dog and owner in our courtyard before and there is no way he is a service dog. He approaches other dogs with out being commanded, he growl at dogs who play with him (playfully I may add), and he never had a vest. We knew there was no fighting with them because there was always an excuse when we brought up other dogs such as, "oh he is 39lbs," or "oh we don't know anything about him" (mind you we live in the same courtyard as the office. We gave up and got a different dog. Recently they have been experimenting with the gate situation, for the longest time neither gates were closed which is convenient because if you want a gate remote it's like a $100 deposit (I think) and since there are two of us we just decided against it. About two months in they started closing the side gate. Which is fair they did tell us it's normally close so we started using the main gate which was never locked. The policy when we originally moved in was that the main gate would be open until 7:00pm (I think) and after that it would lock and you need a gate code to get in. Fine no big deal. Well today they started locking the gate for the first time, before 7:00pm (this was at 3:00ish) I attempted my gate code and it failed. This lady was outside with the maintenance men discussing somethig and she rudely asked what apartment I was in, I told her, and she told me what my gate combination should be, which was the same one I put in that failed, so she gave me a different code which worked. I left my apartment again today and when I returned home there were four cars attempting to get in. No one was able to. So I know it wasn't mine, thankfully one of the residents had a gate remote and helped us get in. I haven't brought this to their attention but first thing in the morning I will. We also haven't received an invoice on our rent since we've moved in, but that's minor I would recommend these apartment regardless of all the issues we have had just because of how swell the maintenance guys are. Have loved living in this apartment! Have been here for atleast 3 years and have had no problems. The staff has always been great and accommodating. Any issues with my apartment have been fixed either the day of or the very next day. It's very clean and quiet and love the location. I would recommend this apartment very highly!! read more
