Little did we know that she would be humiliated in front of other guests. When we walked in, there was 3 ladies sitting casually by the front door, they then signaled the "receptionist" to come up front to help us out. She didn't greet us, she just stared at my sister's face like there was something wrong with us being there. It was really awkward to say the least. We got seated down next to each other and I had gone to use the restroom. When I came back, a nail tech was helping my sister and I had Maricela (the sweetest) help me. I have nothing but good things to say about Maricela as she did my nails. She was friendly and customer service was great; from her. While my sister and I were talking, I saw my sister flinched a couple times and I had asked if she was okay. She replied and told me that she was cut twice by the tech which by the way didn't even ask her if the water was hot, or if she could cut her nails, nothing at all. It was odd but we let it play out. Then the nail tech got to her other foot and was hesitant to even touch it; almost like she was disgusted by my sister's toe (treated fungus). The tech then called the receptionist, told my sister that they were going to explain, and she went to grab another lady (who I assumed was the owner) and just like that they told my sister they have to decline her for a pedicure. I let Maricela finish doing my feet. When she was done, I wanted to double check if my bill was taken care of already by my sister but I had to wait to ask because she was on her personal phone. Overall, I'm very much disappointed in our experience here. It's safe to say we will not be back and I highly don't recommend this place unless you ask for Maricela or Josy.

Unfortunately, when I arrived, the pricing was completely different. I was charged $10 more than the estimate I was given over the phone. I also added a refill, which I understood to be an additional $10 bringing the total to $50. I was prepared to pay that amount, but then I was told the total was actually $60. The explanation of the additional charges was confusing and did not make much sense. It also felt like they assumed I was getting my nails done for the first time based on the way the pricing was explained to me. My biggest concern is the lack of consistency and transparency. If a customer calls ahead specifically to ask about pricing, the information provided over the phone should be accurate so there are no unexpected surprises when they arrive. I hope the salon will be more careful and transparent when communicating prices to customers in the future.
