I've found that there is a large variance in cost and quality from one company to the next, and often times a direct correlation between cost and quality of service. Boston's Best Commercial Cleaning (BBCC) was recommended to me via a Trustee in one of the buildings we manage in Jamaica Plain. They were previously used for apartment cleanings and were beginning to expand to cover commercial building cleaning as well. I gave BBCC a call and they were polite, professional, and friendly. We met at two properties where we were looking to switch over cleaning services and walked through discussing the current cleaning deficiencies and what BBCC could do to ensure our properties were kept in better shape and that our Trustees would be happier with. I quickly received the estimates for monthly cleaning service which also included 2x per year carpet cleaning, weekly trash and recycling take out, and an extensive first-time cleaning of the building. We immediately saw a difference in service and cleanliness of the building. Their initial clean was night and day between our old cleaners, on top of cleaning the carpets the common areas looked almost completely new! BBCC has since maintained the buildings to that level of cleanliness and been responsive to other day-to-day requests such as light bulb changing and if we have a spill or clean up in the building. We also saw a savings in our annual cleaning budget by not paying separate carpet cleaners to come out and not seeing other add-on type charges for a trash clean up, or other random but not infrequent building type issues. Additionally, they offer a 5% monthly discount by setting up automatic payment and/or paying early each month. I would highly recommend Boston's Best Commercial Cleaning to anyone in the property management business or other business which required commercial cleaners for their property. The team at BBCC have proven to be professional, responsive, one of the best in the business, and a true asset to The Albert Corporation.

While this company may build high-end homes, Tim knows the value of mentoring others to build well-structured safe things that stand the test of time--Progress Contracting listens and they make their clients happy. West Roxbury's Stratford Street Church was over-the-moon grateful to get Progress Contracting Corp's gift of time and assistance with the measuring, mitering, sawing, mentoring, etc. that allowed my husband, Peter Low, and our son, Aidan, to construct them a set of amazing 'rolling/locking' stairs for the Church. Years ago, Progress Contracting Corp. saved my family from a $50K porch disaster and they became extended family to us. With their help this much-needed project cost my family $150-ish but it was a priceless gift to the Stratford Street Church near us. I declined the offer as I am only in town for the weekend and wanted to have my grandmothers carpets cleaned. Poor communication, poor customer service. I understand mistakes happen, but an attempt to clean the carpets today should've been made.

I called the national number and the receptionist was very pleasant. When I mentioned I wanted it done asap, I expected something for the following week, but she was able to schedule it for the next day. Be sure to mention the Yelp Coupon code because she didn't find it when she looked for current promotions. Chris arrived 1/2 later than scheduled but called in advance. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the product. I love that is uses less water than competitors. The sofa, chair and pillow dried to the touch in 2 hours but it took about 1-2 day for the "scent" to disappear, but as mentioned, I'm more sensitive to it than most people. I can't attest to how well their process works for stains or spots on the furniture because I didn't have any - I only wanted to get rid of the musty smell from not having vacuumed in a while. The carpeted stairs came out much brighter, but still smelly and grimy to the touch, even days later. Keep in mind however, that this carpeted stairway is the main entry to the condo the carpet was very dirty to start. (The only place for dirty/muddy boots and shoes is at the top of the stairs) I'm sure that it had not been cleaned in years. The price was more affordable than other "Green" services and more expensive than the big non-green cleaning chains. My only complaint was that I had to clean up some small spills on the hardwood floor around the sofa and chair. I wiped it up with a towel, but the floor was left a little sticky and had to be mopped. I would definitely recommend them for furniture cleaning. For carpets, give them a try if you clean somewhat regularly or if only carpets are only lightly soiled. If you have very dirty carpets you might want to give someone else a try.
