Dr parhbu has been very good (beside manner is just ok but she spent years studying so not expecting a social butterfly) - treatments and outcomes have been very good! I do agree that she could spend a little more time - see below- I think they are cramming far to many patients in a day... The super lower rating is due to the front office. For every appointment the wait time is over an hour. (Sometimes/usually in excess of 90 minutes) this needs to be corrected! Front office is also fairly rude and billing to insurance is hit and miss... read more

When I entered the office and checked in there were several people in the waiting room. This made me nervous because my previous doctor that I saw always had a full waiting room which always meant that it would be an hour long wait. They called me on time and Emily did my tests. She was friendly and thorough. I believe Kayla called me back to measure the eye pressures and vision. She put the dilating drops in and I waited for Dr Raja to arrive. It was my first appointment and he was very thorough. I am so glad that I switched to Dr Raja. You are taken care of and feel valued as a patient from the time that you walk into the office until the time that you check out. read more

Upon entering the office, I was very surprised to see how busy it was. I spent about a total of 10 minutes in the examination room--five with the medical assistant, and five with Dr. Parbhu. I was disappointed with the level of care I received. I was not able to express all of my concerns before Dr. Parbhu rushed out to see the next patient. I believe the office might benefit from an adjustment in scheduling; perhaps too many patients are being seen in a day. This diminishes the quality of care each patient is receiving. Overall, not a bad experience, but a little disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this office if you are looking for explanations for your condition rather than a quick-fix prescription. read more

My husband was referred here to have a biopsy on his eyelid. To begin with, they made us put down a $200 deposit before we could make the appointment even though we have great insurance that would have covered every bit of the biopsy charges. He was at the office an hour and a half just for the small biopsy Waiting an hour and 20 minutes and 10 minutes for the biopsy). They made him come back again (we should have refused) even though the biopsy came back fine. They did not refund our deposit until I called two months later so see why it hadn't been refunded. I wonder how much money they make from not refunding deposits to people who forget about it and don't call to get their money back? That is theft, in my opinion and should be investigated. read more

I had eyelid surgery with Dr. P at Remagin. While the result was reasonable, getting to that point was not something I will ever repeat. 1, Office Experience: Rating -1 star. The waited until the week of my surgery before they told me I needed my cardiologist's clearance for surgery. They had scheduled my surgery six weeks prior, so you would think they should have know better, that I needed know weeks before that. I had already seen my cardiologist 3 weeks prior and he recommended an EKG for the surgery, and it came out fine. The week prior to surgery, I sent all the information to contact my cardiologist to get the clearance and they either don't read patient communications or ignore them. I pointed out to them when they informed me the week of surgery that I had already sent them the information they need to get the clearance, to which they replied, "It is your responsibility to get us that information." Do yo want me to do the surgery on myself as well? Later the office manager made excuses that the surgery coordinator for my case had dropped the ball, so to speak. Idiots. Care of quality: rating -1 star. About 2 weeks after surgery when Dr. P, supposedly removed my stitches, I began having difficulty seeing because of eye irritation due to stitches that were not removed, to the point that my eyes watered so much that I could not drive. She was not available for 3 days to remove the rest of the stitches that were irritating my eyes. At this point I had returned to work. The only reaction from Dr. P was that I could Uber. Not an acceptable solution. 3. The only reason this practice gets 1 star is that ultimately, after a large amount of needless suffering on my part, the result was ok. And that is as low as the rating system goes. Also, Dr. P. fails to listen to her patients. But that should be obvious by now. read more

Been there for 2 years both Dr P and Dr R failed to diagnose a rare condition I had, although clearly scar tissue was present on the cornea If I was informed of that immediately I would have taken action and go to the best specialist in the country, in notes it was put, patient is wondering if she has ocular rosacea. I never made it past the front desk. Coming from the south Orlando I was unfamiliar with this part of town. Turning in I discover it's somewhere in a large shopping complex. For 35 minutes I drove around, while calling them. But they never answered or called me back. The directions on their phone state next to Walgreens, Walgreens is now a BurgerFi - and beware parking is limited because LA Fitness is next door-I was totally frustrated. I planned to arrive early to fill out paperwork The office manager announces I will have to reschedule because I'm late without my paperwork! Insult upon insult! I suggest they put their paperwork online so it doesn't have to be printed out like most docs do since many of us no longer have printers and that they correct their directions on their phone. The office manager told me I could go online to view the directions. Well, that's where I got the address! So, no I'm not going back, office staff needs some customer service appeal. read more

It has taken me one whole year to write this review and after what i have gone through, i hope to scare to scare some of you whop may be planning to see Dr Raja. i went to see him in april 2021 for cataract surgeries in both eyes. right eye was schedule on a monday and the left eye for the following monday. after the right eye was done, i had substantial amount of amount for a surgery that is supposed to be very routine. i followed up on tuesday and was given an eye drop to help relieve the pain. i followed up again on friday (5th day post-op) and was told in the doctor's own words " ok lets go find out the root cause of the problem and why you are having this pain" In the medical community, this is called NEGLIGENCE. the root cause should have been investigated upon on the day following surgery... not 5 days later. anyway, the root cause was the fact that Dr Raja left some cataracts behind. a routine surgery turned out to be quite complicated. so, instead of doing the left eye on the following monday, we went back and performed a second surgery on the same right eye to remove the residual cataract. Needless to say, after this surgery, i left this office and went on to have my left eye done by another ophthalmologist. now, here is the sequence of events that occured as a result of that negligent mistake caused by Dr Raja: Ongoing inflammation of my right eye relieved only by steroid eye drops. In december, i completely lost my eyesight in my right eye. after several tests, i was sent to a retina specialist. i had developed scar tissues underneath my retina, developed a retinal tear and eventually suffered through a retinal detachment. reason why i lost my eyesight. 2 weeks ago, i had surgery done to remove the scar tissues, insert silicon oil to heal the tear and even now, after the surgery, i still cannot see due to the silicon oil. i will be undergoing another surgery to eventually remove the oil and i am expected to regain my eyesight. a routine cataract removal surgery that ended up in quite a lot of grief and lost of wages. i appeal to the public in general to do due diligence before you pick a doctor of any kind. read reviews, ask people and make sure you are going to receive the treatment that you pay for. read more

Amazing doctor! Amazing staff! I highly recommend this eye facility! I found Dr. Raja when I had an emergency and my regular eye doctor in Celebration would not squeeze me in. My vision in one eye suddenly become so blurry that I could not read a letter of any size. Dr Parabhu is a world class surgeon, she has done two separate eyelid surgeries on my mother in law and both were absolutely perfect. I have so much trust in Dr Parabhu, she is truly gifted. The office is highly efficient, all of our appointments were on time and quick. Everyone was overwhelmingly friendly and kind, we usually had to bring the baby with us and they were very understanding and even gave me a room to nurse in once. We also had facials and eyelash treatments and all the products and staff are expert and wonderful, it is the kind of place that you can depend on to take excellent care of you, and always be on time. So far I have read good reviews (except for one review that talked about administrative issues). But sadly, I was a bit turned off by the long phone hold. I called and was immediately put on hold for 40 minutes. I called again thinking that it might be a system error and they forgot about me, and lo and behold I was immediately put on hold for 20 minutes again. Add to that is there's only one specific doctor who can see me and she'll be gone for a whole week after... ehhh wut. Maybe this would attest to the office's high demand among patients, but definitely reconsider if you have an emergency or want to schedule an appointment sooner. read more

Very unhappy with the results of the cataract surgery. Paid this doctor $7000.00 up front for upgraded intra-ocular lenses. My right eye is worse than before the surgery. Won't let him touch the left eye. (Surgery center he uses was, in my opinion, the worst. All the surgery patients were required to show up at 7AM. I waited 3 hours for my surgery. The nurse tried to get me out of the bed (to make room for the next patient while I was still so groggy that I would have fallen, if my friend hadn't been there to catch me.) Other problems too lengthy to write here. I have never been so dissatisfied with a doctor. Worst office I have ever encountered!!!! They seem to be more concerned about money than anything else. I asked for a copy of my records from 1 visit and was told I would be charged for copy of my own records. I also owed a small balance ( under $10) and when I asked for a bill to be mailed to me, the response was they won't mail bills under $100. I'm guessing a stamp for them would have caused some type of hardship. I will never use this office again read more

Dr. Parbhu appears to have forgotten that she's a doctor, not an aesthetician. I have a medical condition of a recurring muscle spasm under my eye. Dr. Parbhu (for years) has been putting a small shot of botox at the site and it paralyzes the muscle. Insurance doesn't cover it so she just charged $40 - $50 (it went up over time) for the single injection and threw away what was left in the container. I made my regular appointment and got there (after taking time off work) and waited 40 minutes past my appointment time. Then was taken back and an assistant said she would see me before the doctor. She then tells me (after I've waited all this time), that they no longer do botox treatments by shot, they do it by "area". And the charge is $200. I explained what I normally do and she said my only option was to pay the $200 and have injections in an area, or pay $200 and just have the single shot. I was not there for cosmetic reasons, never have been. Dr. Parbhu is a medical doctor, not an aesthetician. But clearly, the practice has gone the wrong way and is more concerned with taking money for cosmetic treatments than they are treating actual medical patients. It's too bad. She seemed good at what she did. read more

I was referred to Orlando Eye Institute for a minor surgical procedure -- I say "minor", but I admit I was a bit nervous because, well face it, it's an eye. I am happy to report that every aspect administratively and medically was handled professionally. Dr. Parbhu's knowledge and confidence were calming and her hands were steady for the quick procedure. My first visit to this practice as we are new in town was to check on a spot I have on the white of my eye. But, since it has been over 7 years since I've had my eyes dilated we decided to check on that. Simple...right??? It was 3 HOURS simple!! The staff and doctor were friendly. (no problems there). It's ridiculous that with an appointment you're in any office for 3 hours. I've had surgery where they prep, due surgery and I'm home in less time. Even my colonoscopy took less time. This place books way to many patients with two full waiting areas. It's all geared toward the fact that you have dry eyes and you need a specific treatment or that you have a demodex infestation and need treatment. Which of course the insurance doesn't cover. Oh yeah, after all that process he forgot to tell me how my eyes are doing when he looked in after the dilation. I had to ask. He and his assistant were too busy trying to sell my on a treatment. read more
