Do not trust this funeral home, they have zero compassion for the families of the deceased. At my cousins funeral a 4 yr old they held what I call a FAKE funeral, the mother, grandmother and numerous attendees had absolutely no idea the ashes were not even present in the urn that was set out on the table, the mother even had private time to spend with her daughters ashes (for 45 min!!!) and not until after that at the end of the service the funeral home person informed them she wasn't even in the urn!!! A handful of the child's father's family only knew and kept the ashes elsewhere on purpose to hurt others. No matter who or what, no person deserves that kind of treatment at a funeral! And what kind of Funeral Home would even allow such a thing to happen!!!!!! Absolutely sick, unethical and unacceptable! Shame on you Relyea Funeral Home! So think twice about trusting this place. read more

This funeral home and chapel is truly the best place I could have chosen for my daughters funeral service. The staff was kind, compassionate, patient, they listened to our needs and concerns, and did everything as we asked. They were there for us whenever we needed them. Dorn, Charlie and Cindy are knowledgeable and seasoned professionals that handle all your needs during such a difficult time in ones life. They really go above and beyond!. The facility and chapel was clean, elegant and inviting. It did not smell like a funeral home. It was bright and uplifting and well decorated. Their webpage used for the Tribute, Memorial page, service streaming and purchase of flowers or donating a tree in your loved ones name, is fantastic! You must check out this feature. We were also able to have a mini reception outside the main room, with water, fruit and food trays that we were allowed to bring in ourselves. They allowed us the extra time we needed to chat with family and friends after the service. They also were so kind to follow up a few weeks later to see how we were doing. They forwarded mail to us that arrived some time after the funeral so we were sure to get cards from friends. I cannot say enough about how pleased and happy I was I found this place. I highly recommend this funeral chapel to friends and family and anyone looking for a real professionals who really care. read more

Relyea brought absolute beauty, calm and relief to our lives in an unimaginable time. From the first phone call we made with Dave, we and our daughter were well taken care of. We were lost in a time of urgency as our daughter was born stillborn, and the Relyea team provided guidance and reassurance that she was 'under their care'. That resonated with me. Because we couldn't care for our daughter at the time, I felt relief hearing someone else was ready to do so. During such a scary and distant time going on in the world with Covid-19, Relyea allowed us to hold a private viewing for our baby girl with 5 family members. We also got to have time with her each day until cremation paperwork was finalized. For two separate days other than her viewing we got beautiful healing time to be with her privately to sing to, hold, and kiss her. Time I never expected to have.
