Carrie Logan, the daughter of Thomas and Carolyn Logan, was buried in Pioneer Cemetery on August 22, 1864, at the age of 5 years, 11 months, and 5 days. Although others were buried before her, hers is the cemetery's oldest burial stone that can still be read. Among those laid to rest here are Governor Robert E. Smylie, Governor Edward J. Curtis, Mayor John Lemp, Mayor Thomas E. Logan, Governor Edward A. Stevenson and Governor Cecil D. Andrus. The cemetery is in excellent condition and is easily navigable. I wasn't able to find anyone other than Governor Andrus, but I'm sure some more diligent searching would have done it. Perhaps a posted guide would be useful.
