I am very verbose and the level of care, compassion, empathy that she provided day in and day out cannot be understated. I was so impressed with the attention to detail and the level of care that I was compelled to leave this review. In a time where caring and being sympathetic is a lost art, Avery and the Relyea Funeral Chapel know how to be there for you in the worst possible of times.

After we had to call and ask if he had been cremated, they said his ashes would be shipped (we live in another state) the following Monday. We did not receive my grandfather's ashes until Friday. When my father opened the postal box (to pull out the death certificates) the flimsy box they called an urn was wide open and my grandfather's ashes were all over the place. My dad was in tears as he cleaned up his father's ashes. When I called the funeral home, Haley was very rude and not sympathetic at all. She said it was our fault and we needed to take it up with the post office! I asked for the manager to call me. When he did, Johnathan was the same as Haley. This place does not care AT ALL about your loved ones. I have had other positive experiences with other loved ones passing and this place was shocking. Please do not take your loved ones here if you would like them handled with love and compassion. These people are only working there for a paycheck and could care less about giving our loved ones a loving send off and they do not handle them with care. They said my dad should have taken a photo of the remains and then they would care. RIDICULOUS! Johnathan's idea of "taking care of the situation" is for me to bring my grandfather's remains to the post office and ask for a refund. Thanks for nothing Flahiffs!

We are so grateful for the expertise, expediency, and empathy they provided our family during the planning process of laying a loved one to rest. They expertly guided us through all the necessary details not matter how tedious, including her coffin and funeral announcement, both of which reflected her spirit and personality perfectly! My beloved Grandma wished to be reunited in death with her husband - and love of her life - who was buried at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in in 1993. Alden-Waggoner went above and beyond while coordinating the transport and receiving of her body to Wyman Funeral Home in Mesa, Arizona. Everything went smoothly and precisely as planned. My Grandma was given the respect and dignity she deserved, and had a funeral which reflected her extraordinary life and exuberant spirit. We are so appreciative to Alden-Waggoner for their help with this!
