Bowman is kind, professional and very responsive. I've worked with them twice, and both times it was a great experience during difficult times. I would highly recommend. read more

We had an unexpected death in the family & I had never planned a funeral by myself before. Randy was such a welcome counselor/advisor! So patient, pleasant, and offered great advice! He was a great listener & was able to translate what he heard from me about my brother's wishes into truly helpful suggestions. Highly recommend, exceeded my expectations, as wonderful experience as it could be, given the situation! read more

Bowmans and their staff, to a person, are professional, knowledgeable, kind and respectful. They anticipate needs and are prepared to guide you through any eventuality. Don't hesitate to reach out to them, in person or digitally, for information or answers to questions. Even so, when discussing all we'd done to prepare for my mom's passing, with my wife, they offered to hire her as not everyone is so organized and understanding. read more

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel it's important to share our experience so other families know what to expect. We had a very disappointing experience with Bowman Funeral Home. The director did not record the correct casket we chose, ordered the wrong number of death certificates, and failed to send copies to both heirs as requested. Even after confirming the service time a week ahead, they called on the day of the funeral to say it was two hours later. This last-minute change caused major problems with our luncheon plans and extra expense. We expected care and professionalism, but that's not what we received. I truly hope they improve their communication and attention to detail for future families. read more

I was extremely impressed with Bowman. They were beyond my expectations. I called many places and Bowman actually ended up being the least expensive even though others claimed they were! Regardless of cost, I feel that I received the highest quality service. Someone was always available, they were kind and respectful, they were timely, and made the whole experience as easy as possible. I honestly can't think of anything that could have made my experience better. Don't hesitate to use them! read more

After my husband's death, they came very fast to pick him up. The two people that came were very respectful, quiet, knew exactly what to do. I have used Bowman Funeral Home for cremation of my father in 2018 and most recently my mother in 2022. They managed everything so efficiently and carried out the family's wishes exactly as we requested. They quickly responded to every question I had. Their pricing stucture is very clear. There is no agenda to add services to our request. I highly recommend Bowman! read more

Thank you to Bowman for making a very difficult time a little easier. Professional, prompt and courteous.

Bowman's assistance was very helpful. the originally selected cremation service didn't respond and Bowman was quick to respond to our needs in the middle of the night. should have selected them first. read more

I attended a viewing and was blown away at the care, attention to details that I witnessed. The attendant greeted all the guests, and checked in to make sure the family was ok. My best friend had lost her mom and the way they helped her, her father and the rest of the family through this unimaginable grief made me so grateful to Bowman Funeral Home. Thank you so much for going over and beyond to make this experience the best that it can be. I would HIGHLY recommend this business to everyone. read more

Very insensitive employee. Unfortunately we had a employee Randy who made rude comments and manipulated situation. Having this person as contact and upon communicating the problem we had to this person directly he was load and acted like he was repeating what was said on the phone so other employees would think we were complaining about Bowman as a whole. We said that he needed to work on his customer service and said very load we need to work on our customer service witch was not true. After a few days we called Lori who was very kind to us now yelled at us then hung up leaving my fiancee crying and upset not understanding why she would react like this. Being a business owner in the past hopefully they can use this constructive criticism to improve. read more

I never thought it would be me having to come here, but from the moment I called Bowman I've had good experience in a bad situation. Randy was so helpful and professional. He definitely made this a better experience. Very knowledgeable and understanding. I would recommend Bowman to anyone of my friends and family and to whomever else may need them. read more

I live in California and my dad lived in Idaho. Bowman funeral home was extremely helpful, and worked with me to do everything remotely. The entire process was seamless and quick. read more

It's hard to find the right words to express how grateful my family is for the staff at Bowman Funeral Home and how wonderful it was to work with them. Lori and her staff were all so kind and helpful. Having no experience with funeral planning, Lori helped us every step of the way. She even took some of the things off our to do list and handled them for us. We decided to bury our father in Utah, with a simple graveside service. Instead of having to coordinate with a local funeral home, Bowman Funeral Home transported our father directly to the cemetery and conducted the graveside service. The level of service and compassion shown to our family by Bowman Funeral Home was truly remarkable. read more

I was very impressed with the staff from my very first phone call to ask questions about their services. They answered all my questions without any salesmanship. After checking other places, I decided on Bowman, and I'm glad I did. They took care of every detail in a swift and professional manner, never making me feel pressured, and always there if I had a question. If you need the service they provide, you owe it to yourself to at least give them a call and ask the questions that are important to you. I have no regrets. read more

Gary Bowman took wonderful care of my mother who passed in September. She had specific wishes and needed to be transported out of state which he handled with ease. He's very experienced and compassionate which showed through in everything he did. His experience served as a good guide for us on figuring out what was important and not important to do to keep the costs reasonable. We were happy that another family had recommended Gary to us! read more

I've attended two services here in the last the month. The facility is new, and the staff was courteous. Both services were open casket, and we expected to see our loved ones looking peaceful. My sister in law looked very rough. Her complexion was gray, her hair was not how she wore it, and she appeared to have a tear drop on her cheek (likely runaway glue that was used to keep her eyes closed). My best friend looked a little better, however she was quite ashen. I was not involved in the arrangements in either case, so I don't know what was promised or paid for. However neither one looked like the person I remembered, and I've seen better presentations at other funeral homes. read more

Bowman Funeral Parlor helped our family remember and lay to rest my wonderful grandfather. They helped plan all the details, the meeting chapel is comfortable and beautiful, and they even helped manage the youngest great-grandchildren during the service. It was simple and beautiful. read more

I love Bowman Funeral Home! Especially Gary Boman. Before my husband died in 2012, I researched all the area funeral homes. Boman's was hands down, the best pricing. After meeting with them, they were even better than I could imagine. Gary offered tips about what services I needed and what I didn't, to save money. He was absolutely amazing. A couple of years later we had him take care of my Dad too. We had Dad's funeral service at Boman's new facilities that are beautiful. Then Gary personally drove my Dad to Utah to be buried next to my Mom. Can't praise this business enough. I'd give them a 10 if that was available. read more

My grandfather passed away a few weeks ago, Bowman's did a amazing job, my grandmother wanted to have a wake in the evening and they where amazing they where able to accommodate all of our wishes, they listen to each individual in our family when we met with them they took care of all of our concerns and wishes and made it the most amazing service, we where extremely happy with there services, I would give them a 100 stars for helping us remember my grandfather they way we wanted to Thank you Mr. Bowman. read more

I'd put a minus 5 stars on this one!! All we wanted to do was see if someone would be on site so we could look at some keepsake urns. My daughter lost her husband last Tuesday. He was in Oklahoma and we're in Idaho. All she wanted was a yes or no answer. The man that answered the phone said "WHY WOULD YOU EXPECT SOMEONE TO BE THERE AT 4:00 ON SATURDAY!!" It got worse from there. Perhaps he was having a bad day, but isn't that their business to be sympathetic and understanding to their grieving customers? He was very rude and made it that much harder for her. I'm just a grieving mother trying to protect her grieving daughter, but I would not recommend contacting this business! read more

We had a horrible experience with Bowman, and actually switched services because he was rude to a family member just the day after my fathers death. We asked him if we could supply our own casket, and he said we can, but we should find a different funeral home as well, and that he has a right to pay his people more than minimum wage. To get into how much he earns and what he needs to make money was just insensitive and upsetting, especially the day after our fathers death. I would not suggest Bowman. We went with Accent Funeral home, and they did a great job, and were very sensitive, caring and professional. read more
