Had he not done that, I would've gotten my ROM back. Insurance dropped me because I "wasn't making progress". I fell into deep depression as I was an extreme athlete and now I'm a cripple with a cane.

I have been going to Camelback for quite a few years now due to inconsistency in my own schedule (otherwise I probably could have prevented further damage and been better, quicker!) and every single time, it has helped me tremendously. This time around I have tried to really commit and keep a consistent schedule. The results have made a world of difference. When I came back to Camelback this year, I had numbness and tingling in my right foot, terrible pain in what felt like my tailbone that prevented me for sitting for long periods of time (which is hard for me because I work in a corporate office!), and excruciating neck pain due to issues in my neck as well. Since returning, the numbness in my foot has stopped, I can sit for extended periods of time without having to shift every 15 minutes, and I can look down at my phone without having awful pain in my lower neck. My quality of life has improved significantly just in my everyday tasks. I have had interactions with every single member of the staff there and each one is incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. I brought my 17 yr old son there this year as well and he experienced about a 70-80 percent improvement as well (we both did Chiro & PT) since going. Not only does he provide treatment, but he's been a resource to me for a plethora of things. He is knowledgeable on the body and how it can be made mobile. He is a former chiropractor for Olympic athletes and it shows. The office is generally very inviting. I do have to say, through the 10 years I have been coming here, I've experienced some kind and not-so-nice receptionists that have worked for Dr. Eric, but he has always been highly receptive to feedback on his staff which again shows me a level of care I look for in any of my doctors! When I first called to make an appointment, I specifically asked if I would incur any out-of-pocket expenses. I was told no and that I had met my deductible after my insurance was run. I was aware that I have coinsurance, but I have never received a coinsurance bill for chiropractors or other physical therapists. 2. When I attended, the physical therapists were double-booked. Generally there was one therapist per about 3-4 patients. I have been an athlete my entire life so physical therapy is not new to me. This is the first time I have been compelled to get my phone out and play games waiting for the PT to complete working with another patient. 3. I received an itemized bill that has different prices for THE SAME billing code. I called to clarify how I had an outstanding balance given that I was told I would not have to pay anything out of pocket. I also asked why THE SAME billing code has different prices. I was told a manager would call me back. They never did. Rather, I received another letter threatening to send me to collections. I called again today and I was told that whoever was supposed to call me back "did not see a reason to." Clearly they care about money more than their patients. The physical therapists are fine professionals, but whoever is running the admin, billing, and operations should be fired. There are physical therapy clinics on every corner in Illinois. Next time I will go elsewhere.
