The wait here is ridiculous. We always have to wait an hour in the waiting room and then another 20 minutes in the back. We aren't even waiting for the doctor. Just the nurse practitioner for a shot. Just the worst. read more

I Was referred to Mk orthopedics for a hip labral tear. They were in no way a help, I was supposed to have surgery and at the last moment they optioned not to do the surgery, which has left me in pain for over a year. I requested and signed for all of my records to be sent to my pain management doctor so he could find someone to fix this problem and so that I can have my records. They said it would take up to 30 days. Its been over 2 months and They have stated there was no record for my medical records and sent me to there 3rd party that handles there records,and they have no records either. They do not care for your health or well being. I would stay far away from this this place. read more

I feel like Corie V., Rich N., FC F., and Krista-Fabio F. all had very valuable insights into what a exam here (IOS now not MK) is like. My experiences with wait times were exhaustinlg long and then to only spend a minute with a doctor (George) that just doesn't seem to listen or care at all with what you. The Patient, are reporting. Follow up was a problem, not knowing when to go back, having to actually Ask for tests like Xrays or physical therapy. And office notes not dictated regularly nor with information about what You the Patient reports. How very demoralizing. A doctor takes an oath to do no harm so why did I feel like more harm was done to me after I was seen? read more

Dr. Joe George is the Best! He is a doctor....he listens, advises....he has a wonderful personality and I was happy and satisfied to have him as my surgeon. Cudos to you, Dr. George. You are a very good doctor! read more

Do not meet with the nurse practitioner. My daughter hurt her knee and we had the first appointment of the day and waited an hour to see her. She was standing around talking to the receptionists. When we did get to talk to her she never really explained what was wrong with my daughters knee - we found out from the physical therapist. Even though we consistently waited an hour (at least) to see her she never spent more than 5 minutes in the room. We requested records to get a second opinion but had a follow up visit scheduled. We waited an hour and 45 minutes for her to come in say "I see you requested records to go to XX, they can follow up with you" and walked out. I will never go back here and would recommend anyone else to not go there as well. read more

Our chiropractor recommended MK after my daughter rolled her ankle. We made an appointment for a day or two later, which was great, however the the experience was awful. The office waiting room was huge, empty and very dark. The receptionist kept getting inturrupted with our paperwork due to other employees complaints of being tired, current diet, etc... so annoying. After our paperwork was completed, my daughter and I waiting a significant amount of time. This was odd since the place was deserted of patients. Finally, from far away, a young woman called my daughter's name, noticed us getting up but left and walked off down a hall in another direction. My daughter was new on crutches so it took a moment to get her to the hallway and we headed down. We couldnt find the lady that called us so doubled back to head back to the receptionist. Before we got there, the lady had annoyingly called us from a room. We entered the exam room she was in and we stood, awaiting instruction. There was not a step for my daughter to hop on the table, nor had the paper been changed from the previous patient. The lady was intently studying the chart too much to notice so I told my daughter to lean on me so I can take her crutches and hoist her up on the table. The lady noticed and said " oh, do you need help?" Duh. I told her I got it, no worries. She went back to her reading. Just as I picked up my 14 year old (who is bigger than me in both height and weight), she finally noticed the paper and changed it. She mentioned she could've gotten a step for her to get up as if I declined to have one. How rude. This lady was unprofessional in every way. Not clean, walked with a swagger and spoke quite with very poor tone and professionalism. Fast forward....while waiting for my daughter to return from her xray, I noticed empty water and soda bottles on the floor. I picked them up to discard them, but could not find the receptacle. I didnt want the dr to think WE had left our garbage in his exam room. I placed them on the counter. What was the lady doing if not racing ahead to make sure the room was clean and ready? Geeez... Dr. George finally entered and was very friendly and knowledgable. We discussed the xray findings and his recommendations for treatment. The images were saved on a disk but he was unable to eject it. I pointed out the bottles I picked up and explained, and he called out for someone to come in and remove them. Aha! There indeed wasnt a receptacle! Not important, but I felt better it wasnt obviously in front of my face. I dont doubt he still thought the trash was mine anyway *sigh* Dr George excused himself but stated IT would be in to retreive the disk. A nice gentleman came in to fit my daughter for her boot. He answered all of our questions and was professional. The IT person came in during this time as well, but could not retreive the disk either. In short, if you don't mind rude, unprofessional people and not so clean exam rooms, go for it, Dr. George was nice.(and expensive!!!) We switched to a different orthopedic practice which was better in every way.. half the bill (they had to take a new xray bc the images from MK were lost, plus a new boot), 1/3 of the time waiting, pleasant, professional, clean, all the things you expect from visiting a doctors office. Dont waste your time, Im still making payments to MK and so not worth it... read more

Dr. Komanduri is a very unprofessional doctor. He does not answer your questions. He just talks about himself. If you tell him your pain is 9, almost 10 on a scale of 1 to 10, he laughs and does not take you seriously. He does nothing for your pain. He does nothing to help you with your damaged knee. Find another doctor to help you out. read more

I have had knee surgery as well as had my back and elbow treated. I have never had better care and followup from any Doctor's in my life. Caring people who are easy to talk to and are great at what they do. From the front desk to the imaging staff to the scheduling/billiing staff and the Dr.'s this is a top notch facility. I would recommend MK Orthopaedics to anyone. I drive 40 miles each way but it is well worth the drive. Thank you for great experiences and I will continue to utilize MK for my orthopaedic needs. read more

Dr Komanduri is wonderful along with his staff! I had went to his office because my knee was messed up really bad from a fall. He did the X-rays in his office and then he wanted me to go for an MRI. I had my MRI in his office and got in the next day to see him! He had told me that my knee cap was moved 40% and my meniscus was gone. He had told me all of my options and I went with the surgery. He did an amazing job and I love the fact that I went to his office for physical therapy. At the end of my 3 months of being off work I ended up falling in my garage with flip flops on (oh and it was raining out side) so my mom called his office and they told her what to do since I already had an appointment with him for the next day. The next day I went into his office and he did another X-ray and another MRI and it had shown that everything was out of place from the fall.. So after I got a talked about not wearing the right shoes.. I went to schedule my surgery and got in 3 weeks later (due to he had lots of surgeries because it was the end of the year and people wanted to get it done before their new insurance plan started) Dr used the same scar I had from the 1st surgery he did and this time I didn't fall and I had the right shoes on! I couldn't have asked for a better doctor's office! It's a one stop for everything he offers plus his office is great when you need to make payments to them! Dr George is great too I ended up breaking my left foot and I got the boot.. Well a year later I was back in his office cuz a different bone in my foot was hurting me we did an X-ray and a MRI and it had showed that my bone was curved in and it was punching my nerve so I had an neuroma between my pinky toe and the one next to it. So we went over my options and I picked to do the shots and put orthotics in my shoes! Well the neuroma went away and I have no problems with my foot!! I recommend these doctors to my patients that come into the pharmacy! They treat all this: Elbow Foot and Ankle Hand Hip Knee Shoulder Spine And even Offer this right in the office: MRI Services Digital X-Rays Casting and Immobilization Physical Therapy Surgery Durable Medical Equipment Non-Surgical Treatments What doctor can you go to that offers all this in the office? I've been to the office a couple times for my foot. I had bunion surgery 5 years ago (by a different doctor) and my left foot never seemed to feel right after. I was recommended to see Dr George at MK orthopedics. When I walked in, I immediately felt comfortable. The ambience was relaxing & the waiting room was spaced out perfectly. There are also TVs hanging on the wall, volume was perfect with family friendly shows on. -- Backtracking, when I walked in I got welcomed by a happy & smiling receptionist. She handed me my paperwork and asked me to have a seat and complete it while I waited to be called back. I was early for my appointment, so expected to wait awhile, but they took me 5-10 minutes after I had arrived. The young lady who had brought me to my room was very pleasant and asked me how I was doing and how my day was going. When we got to the room she asked me a few questioned regarding my injury and took me for a few X-rays. The young lady doing the X-rays was also very nice and friendly. She walked me back to my room after X-rays and I waited for dr. He knocked on the door and came in a timely manor, and he explained what he saw in the X-ray which I was able to look at on the screen in the room. I was able to see everything right there. I also have orthopedic inserts for my shoes that my previous doctor made. I had him take a look at those as well- Fast forwarding to my next visit to pick up my inserts: he re-designed them for my flat feet/no arches and to relieve pressure on the balls of my feet. All in all, I recommend this place to anyone of all ages. Staff over all was very friendly & was always smiling when you encountered them. read more
