For…read moreten years, I had gone back and forth with the Veteran Administration to consider my 'during service' emotional and physical scars- to no avail. It seemed as if I served and once I no longer wore the uniform, no one cared. I will not go into the damage on this platform but I will say, the services that the Veteran Benefits Consulting Group provided, garnered me my just reward. JD was attentive, personable, professional, and he knew what the hell he was doing! He spoke the VA language and navigated the weird and wonky disability rating matrices. Let's just say it took him less than 90 days to achieve the results I labored 10 years trying to achieve. Oh! Vets - don't be sticker shocked either because I'd take $0 property taxes over his one time fee any day. Make the call and get what you deserve.

After two failed attempts by JD to reach 100%, I decided to leave and hire a lawyer instead. I went to Vet Law, which has excellent reviews, and within four months I reached 100% disability (a $1,589 monthly increase). Their fee was $1,012 -- far more reasonable, and the process felt professional and straightforward. Based on this comparison, I believe Veterans Benefits Consulting Group charges excessive fees and does not provide fair value for the cost. Although I did receive an increase, I do not feel their billing system is ethical or fair. I want other Veterans to be fully informed before committing, as there are better options available.

This guy is terrible. My wife and I contacted Clinton to take care of benefits for my wife's…read moremother. After MANY meetings, phone calls and emails (a years worth) the claim was finally submitted and Clinton assured us that everything was fine and my mother-in-law would be receiving the benefits due her from her deceased husbands service in the military. A short time later we received a letter that denied her claim! We were shocked because Clinton lead us to believe that she had everything in order and was eligible for these benefits. We contacted Clinton to explain what happened, he had no answer and then stopped all communication with us, no calls, no emails, nothing. He has paperwork of ours and will not return it. The guy just doesn't care. While we were in contact with him, through all of his delays, he said he should have filed some type of request to initiate the claim so she would have received benefits retroactively, which of course he didn't. This whole experience was frustrating! Don't use this company for anything.
