I received a mystery bill of $426.17 for services performed at St. Vincent's hospital by a Reliant doctor. there was literally nothing explaining what this payment was for. It indicated that it was for a surgical procedure. But I never had surgery. If this procedure were performed at my local Reliant office, I would not have a $250.00 co-pay. AND THIS WAS NEVER EXPLAINED TO ME BEFORE THE VISIT. Otherwise, the visit would have been covered by my insurance. Or at least be much less than the $426 I was billed. I called to get more information and to ask for assistance as with winter being here, $426 could purchase nearly 100 gallons of heating oil. No such luck. I was forced into maxing out my card in order to pay $375 of the $426 I owed. Even though this means that I won't be able to adequately heat my home this season. They happily took what I have left in my account leaving $2.77 and offered nothing but to extend the payment period. If I don't have the money now, I won't have it later either. Now I need to call my oil supplier and have them stop automatic delivery as I have no way to pay for it. I think it ironic that a hospital named after a Christian saint is more interested in bill collection than those who must choose between a life necessity and keeping bill collectors at bay. I wonder if the hospital would allow me to sleep in their atrium. read more

Definitely one of the most sparse uncomfortable waiting areas I've ever had to sit in! Freezing cold in here.

I had to go for a MRI of my brain. I had to travel over an hour to get there and wanted to be sure to be on time so I got there at noon for a 12:30 appointment. I checked in and waited in the MRI waiting room until 12:30... 12:40.... 12:50... 1:00. I noticed during that hour no one had been called in ??? Something seemed wrong so I went to desk and stated that I had 12:30 and it was 1:00 and nobody has said anything. Very nice lady explained they were an hour behind and I should have been told that at check in ?? Another very nice lady saw my concern and went in back and verified they were an hour behind. Different stories for delay - electric issue, equipment problem, patients issues ???? As 1:30 came and went I went to deck and inquired. Empathetic lady called and was told another 25 minutes. The other lady went in back to MRI unit and came back completely embarrassed that it was delayed again. Having a brain MRI is not a small deal and the total lack of professionalism by the MRI unit caused me to lose all confidence in them. in my opinion something was wrong and they could not control it or admit to it. I had no confidence when I would be seen and was afraid that i would be kept and shuffled around or told at 5:00 PM too bad. I have changed my doctor because of this and going Brig Mass where they are professional and competent. BTW- the staff that faces off against patients in the check in process are WONDERFUL AND EMPATHETIC... they should be given a raise. TOO BAD I HAD TO GIVE ONE STAR read more

I'm so frustrated with this place; I'm a patient of this place for more than 10 years. I called the office about a month ago to schedule an eye exam because I was having some problems with my eye; I spoke with the receptionist who checked my insurance over the phone and said I had a free annual eye exam. I went over to their office for a regular annual visit check up. Now are sending me a bill of $165.14 because they sent this annual check up visit to the insurance as an office visit not an eye exam as I scheduled with them. I already called them several times to fix this mistake but they insist that I am responsible to pay for this bill. Why should I pay for their mistake. I called the insurance explained what happened they said they just have to send the bill again as an eye exam but once again they denied. Reliant Medical should have a little more compassion for all patients during this crises or at least be more transparent and let all patients know on advance their billing responsibilities. I lost my job because of the pandemic crisis and I have other priorities we already pay a lots of money for the insurance to cover this bill they just have to resend correctly. read more

I wish if i could give it no stars at all.. i have been going to reliant med pediatric for about three years now.. some of the pediatrician are good hut some of them are just not good enough to be a pediatrician.. i had such a bad experience with one of the pediatrician at reliant med.. I can't believe how the visit went with this doc.. i will come to the point, my daughter was sick for two weeks, she had fever 101 and sometimes 100.8 but below 102 for almost two weeks.. she had swollen lymph nods that changed her voice on a heavier side.. she wouldn't touch or let me massage her neck at all.. she plus she complained that her tummy hurts.. her appetite gone so down She wouldn't wanna drink water.. doc said it's a viral infection.. I called nurse, docs every other day.. they would just ask me to keep an eye.. i am like what in world they think they are doing.. so they did her UTI TEST which was little not clear .. thn next day i went in the clinic and i saw this terrible doctor.. i talked to her about my daughter's sickness and me being mom and worries about my little one, this doc told me to get an appointment with my own doctor for over-anxiety.. i was shocked i was hell shocked.. this doc is privileged to treat her kids at home if they get sick.. but we totally rely on them for our kid's health.. i asked her to do her blood work to check why her tummy hurts so much.. she again said i would definitely recommend you to go to your doc for being overanxious It made me cry so much and i had an appointment with my doc next week and i told her the whole situation plus if i look anxious My doc said no doctor has a right to talk to a patient like this.. plus she is not my doc or psychiatrist to tell me that.. my elder sis is lactation consultant and postpartum doula as well.. she told me file a complaint against her.. If i am worried about my kids health that makes me look over protective... I changed my kid's doctor One more thing, after couple weeks, nurse called me that we have my children's appointment with that doc and she is not available that day, so we are changing that to another doc.. i said that's fine.. and the nurse said you need to call the insurance to change her doc to put them under same doc.. i asked her a question, it's been 11 months my son has been going to different doc and i did talk to nurse and the doc about it.. no one ever questioned about this before and now all of sudden, you want me To change the doctor.. so i called the insurance to Make it sure, if or do they need same doctors since i my both kids have different doctors( i was gunna change them at one point and enroll theM under same doc but i didn't get time to do so) insurance said they don't need to be under same doctors, it's mom's decision if she wants to change.. and before changing the doc, nurse need to ask me.. So i asked the nurse what's up with this sudden move, she was not able to answer plus she said the admin will call you in an hour.. since thn no one called me over this issue.. it's clearly that doctor.. I had a problem with their lab works as well.. they had to do blood work on my new born, they lost the sample like three times.. i had to keep repeating it since i had no other choice.. and with second time lab work with my daughter was super terrible. It was someone new nurse who was doing lab work, and kept pushing needle in her arm to find a vein and that too both sides.. i told them not to do today.. give us a break I had a bad experience in January 2022.. same doc kept saying it's just viral infection.. doc gave her amoxicillin.. she puked all night and so sick with fever 103.. and the other day she got hives bad bad hives.. and thn my daughter stopped walking bcuz her feet were super swollen.. i still cry when I remember that moment.. i went to urgent care.. i went to reliant medical like every other two days.. damn her fever spiked and it was over 104 that was it, we took her to emergency where they gave her steroids and my daughter was able to walk next day and she felt little better.. reliant medical never really assured me about my kids health.. i know i should have changed it long time ago.. I am so so glad i changed my children's doctors.. i would never ever go back or recommend this place to anyone .. not reliable at all.. read more

Recently took an elderly family member to the Endocrinology Department at Reliant Medical Group - Neponsit. Unfortunately not much has improved here. There continues to be high turnover in this Department. My mother always has a new Endocrinologist (the fifth one in 7 years). Each time there is a new Endocrinologist, her treatment plan changes per the direction of the new doctor. She does not have much input into the treatment plan as well. As a result, there is no consistency in her treatment plan from year to year since there is a new doctor here who changes her existing treatment plan. Staff here appears aloof, robotic and don't smile. It appears most staff in this department including the Endo front desk secretaries don't know how to effectively deal with the geriatric population (over 65). It is so sad how Reliant Medical - Neponist has gone down hill so fast. The care under the Fallon Staff was so much better. Also, my simple advice: If you are having a bad day Staff, please don't take it out on the patients. read more

Honestly bullsh*t we went to pick up contacts after driving for a while, and I really needed these contacts I show up with 200$ on me and the reason I couldn't get the contacts that I need and the reason he gave me for not giving me the damn contacts was that they didn't have change. I'm sorry but from a medical group I was expecting better treatment than the treatment I would get from McDonald's with the "ice cream being broken". read more
