I have spent several thousand dollars there and never can get them to clearly communicate anything. The rims on my truck were scratched up while mounting the new tires and no one seems to care. I got a 5th tire for the spare and that tire gets lost. Came back the next day to pick it up after it has been here all day and it still isn't done. Very poor communication and zero feeling they care about thier customers at all! I'll not be spending another dime here and strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

I never write reviews. Ever. But I'm doing one for TJ's. I signed up to Yelp so I could do this…read more So I broke down on I-95 before Delaware Ave during rush hour. I'm new to the area and I called TJ's because they were close to my house and I figured I would have to walk home. Full disclosure: They're a little brusque over the phone, but believe me, this is trivial. TRIVIAL. First of all, when he came to tow me in, he was quick and the rig was SPOTLESS inside and out. I know it sounds minor but it was clear he cared about his equipment and his customers. He was polite, friendly, and cheerful. We all know how hard that is at 5:00 PM on 95. Second, he called me 1st thing in the AM with his diagnosis and the price. I searched online and his prices were VERY competitive. He hardy charged me anything for the tow as well. I drive an import that's not always easy to find parts for, and he got it all done THAT DAY. When I picked it up after work, he had it waiting and cooled-off for me! He did a full inspection and replaced a minor part and didn't charge me for it (I double-checked because I didn't believe he wouldn't charge me for it, but it really was replaced for free). Breaking down on the highway during rush-hour is a stressful experience, but TJ's Auto Electric made the best out of a bad, bad, bad situation. He made a customer for life. I'd recommend him to anyone. He told me "I take care of my people," well, he certainly does.

I have used Rays Cars of Distinction before, and this family owned business does not disappoint. Well, this time was the same great customer service and repair work as always. They were able to achieve my repairs and even alerted me that I qualified for a BMW recall on my water pump. Would have been very expensive. They did exactly the repair they were required to do, and nothing else I didn't ask for. Best part is when I got the phone call my car was ready, I embraced myself for what I thought it would cost. And the total price was much less than I had ever expected. I have nothing but great things to say about the customer service, the staff, the work they performed, and even their dogs came out to say hello to me. Thank you again, a very happy customer

My husband says u must of did something when u put the control arm in. So we took car home tried calling around to see if someone could fix it. Because what ever they did car was shaking like it was going to fall apart. Lucky we found another shop in Calabash that agreed to help us and fix it. We contacted the garage that did the damage to get some kind of compensation to fix what they did wrong and owner say "well there was wear and tear on the axel" we said no wear and tear doesn't mean broke. So they offered to split the charge to fix it after we already paid almost $1000 for the control arms. And now this is broke we said no way all they want is money. Will never go back there again cannot trust that garage. So sad they took advantage of us.
