Got scammed by this company. I hired them to do leak detection and fix a leak in my slab. They charged me $6879 to run my hot water line through the attic but that did not fix anything. I still have the leak and their response was that somehow my cold water line broke exactly at the same time they fixed the hot water line. According to Gulf Breeze Water, there has not been a time since the alleged "fix" that my water has stopped running. Nothing has changed and they refuse to make it right. Had Reliable Plumbing come out to resolve a clog in the master bathroom that was causing water to backup into the shower and bathtub. After paying approximately $550 for service (which seemed extraordinarily high to me but if it's fixed it's fixed), the technician left. An hour later, I took a shower and the water backed up into the bathtub again. Called and left a message over the holidays, but got no call back. Called again and spoke with a customer service rep, rescheduled, and was called on the day of scheduling to be told that the technician did fix the clog, and that the next service would be nearly $2,000 to do a 'jetting', but Reliable Plumbing refused to send the technician back to see if they could try to snake it again. I guess once the jetting fails, the next service call will be $10,000,....maybe a million? shoot for the stars. read more

This place is a joke! I called for a clog in the sewer line and charged me $395 before doing anything. Devon was there less than 45 minutes and when he left it was still backed up. When I called to let them know they said they don't guarantee their work and it would be another $395 to come back out! They expected me to pay $3500-$4500 to replace the line but I declined. He left a hole in the front yard and ran his snake maybe 40 feet. Ecua came out and explained that our line ran 83 feet to the main line! They didn't even try and only want to steal your money! reliable plumber plus is NOT reliable at all. we called them to fix a water leak and after there tech came and looked at it and without doing anything he said we have to call another company the have a leak detector device that can detect where is the water leak coming from and when we asked him but your company advertisement say that one of the work they do is water leak detection even it's written on the fan of the company you drive it he said that we have to call another company and he wants the service call $69 This is the way this company tries to make as much money as they can by just come to you at any time but if they find the problem need time to fix it they create any excuse to just get the service call and go to another call to do the same scenarios so be careful read more

At first, this company was good they were quick to respond and examine what is needed. I did have to wait until the next day for them to install a new grinder pump which is understandable. I bought a 3 yr warrant upgrade pump they said for $399. They also have a 1 yr craftsman warrant they as well are (supposed to honor as well) which they don't for a total bill just shy of 4K. NOTE: Please be aware they do not disclose they are recording all phone calls. It is an FL law and Fed law that you cannot record a phone conversation without disclosing it first. Just google it. I had to bring that to their attention then they started letting me know after several heated arguments with this BULLY /Scandal of a company. I encourage you to read up on other websites before using this company I sure wish I did. This company works off assumptions if they see one thing, they assume the worst and therefore you should have to redo everything. They installed a new grinder pump in mid-March everything seems to be working fine until one day in May when I came back from a long vacation. I smelled sewage outside, so I walked to my grinder pump, and it was overflowing but running. I called them the next day and explained. They were quick to come out and look. They saw one tampon still in the wrapper with no marks/scratches on it. They even took their own pic of the tampon and put it on my front porch. They assumed there were many more tampons and other things in the tank. As I told them plenty of times my wife told me it fell in from the cabinet when flushing the toilet we don't put anything that doesn't belong in there. They said the grinder pump was done and I now needed a new electrical box for the pump. The short story is the Pump was 100% fine they had wired the electrical box wrong connecting the R1 wire Hotwire to the ground wire which burnt out the circuit breaker and they gave me the wrong pump type. I had another plumber come out because they would not come out and test the pump. I spent another $600 for someone to test the pump. The big issue was I previously had a high-head pump before, and they gave me the wrong one. They never tested the pressure in the lines like they should either. They said I didn't have a high-head pump (FYI a high-head pushes out more PSI) They gave me one that max out 47.2 109ft head pressure. They said they had pics of my old one and it wasn't a high-head, Not until I showed them a pic of my old one they stopped arguing. As well they tried to charge me $1100 for a new electric box which I didn't need it was just wired wrong from their poor craftsmanship. They would not refund my money and take the pump as I asked. The Manager said he would never work with me said the manager because I had destroyed the pump early in the week. Then the owner called and said he would only refund the pump and not the labor or replace the pump. The labor/craftsmanship was wrong and now I don't want to work with Reliable Plumbing Plus. I can't speak for the quality. I can only say their prices are outrageous. We're getting new flooring so they came out to remove the toilet and pedestal sink. They were going to charge $1,240! I text a friend, he said he could do it, so we sent the plumbers away. Our friend did it in 1.5 hours and that included going to Lowes twice for parts. The parts were only about $70. Over $1,000 an hour for labor is ridiculous! read more

Very disappointed in Reliable Plumbing (Gulf Breeze). Devon and his helper were very helpful. I asked them to sweat on a new shower valve and replace a toilet water valve. I had removed the sheetrock exposing the existing valve for easy access. I already had purchased the new shower valve. They completed the work in 45 minutes or so. I will need to complete the install, which includes the purchase of a Pex crimper ($70). I would guess they used less than $40 of his material. The total charge was $695! I feel like $655 per hour was very extreme. I was in a bind for time. I was given a quote before they started the work. I will plan better on the second bathroom project and will use a different plumbing company. I will not be recommending this company to anyone in fact the opposite. Wish I had paid the $65 for just coming out and sent them on there way. read more

Deceitful and misleading services.  Do not trust Reliable Plumbing Pluss in Gulf Breeze Florida! Reliable Plumbing Pluss in Gulf Breeze Florida, installed 2 tankless water heaters in our house last week. (3000 squ feet/ 3 bathrooms). They told us we need to have an electrician to hook back up the service. After I had an electrician out, I found out that the electricity needed to run the water heaters requires us to double the electric service to our house. Meaning we need to pay the power company to install new service meter, service double what we have now. The county will need to perform a load calculation to ensure the house can handle the expanded load, and the electrician will need to install 2 new electrical panels and run new wires for the service. The new electric water heaters are industrial size. We called Reliable Plumbing and asked them why the heaters were so large, they say they were sized properly, the company wont do anything. They sold us an electric water heater that will not work in our house without an additional 10K to bring in industrial service power load. We trusted this company to properly size water heaters for our house. They ripped us off. They will not remediate the problem with out us paying them more money to uninstall the electrical water heaters and install tank water heaters, but wont even quote a cost to replace, just says they will invoice the materials and labor when complete. Loosing out on 5K we paid to Reliable Plumbing Pluss and whatever the new cost to install new water heaters! read more
