I explained the situation to Response Crew and I was relieved to receive reassurances from the manager of Response Crew that he'd send one of his best door guys out and that we would not be disappointed. The manager also called back twice to make sure we were happy with the job. Although I missed those voice messages I figure posting about my experience here will make up for that. It's always tough when you are trying to hang a new door on an old frame that may not be perfectly straight anymore. And yes only time will tell if the fit holds. Don't waste your time with another company that will over charge you and use junk parts. Is their cheaper handyman services out there? Maybe but not for this quality of work. I never needed to worry that I would owe more money at the end of a job. Mike went over every item and labor charge before starting work. When he is done he cleaned up his work area and showed us what to look out for and how to use any items. Water softener, thermostat, garbage disposal and a leaking water pipe in the wall. At my business he has installed toilets and faucets as well as other items I needed done. I will use him again and again as long as he is in business.
