I've had good service from reliable gun, and good prices as well. you have to remember this is not a store run out of somebody's basement so there is a huge overhead and it's pretty hard for stores like this to stay open in this state of affairs with our government I will continue to support reliable gun. read more

I'm not happy leaving this review, unfortunately this shop has upset me and let me down. I will say I've delt with them a lot in the past, with this last attempt to do business with them, I will no longer be giving them my money and will advise others to not do any business with them again. This last deal, they ghosted my inquiries and quit communicating with me, i phoned in to see if another person could continue the deal with me as the previous person ghosted me, he said he could not as he cant communicate with the manufacturer directly I was looking to buy from, kind of ridiculous in my opinion. Don't trust this business! He worked on fitting a barrel for me. He failed to fit it which I was very forgiving about due to the fact he kept telling me he wouldn't test fire the gun. OK but later I called in to see if I could start working on it myself or see if there were any parts that would help me get it running like a recoil spring. The first conversation seemed pretty amenable where he seemed interested in talking about personal projects and such so the second time I regret being sucked in. He became aggressive talking about my project to make a bullet mold for a light bullet. He started asking about my personal life, finances, ethnicity, education, and my parenting. It was obvious he took personally either his failure to fit the barrel or the success of my hand loading project in reaching high velocities at lower pressures which many other ammunition companies have also put out on their product lines safely. He brought up safety as a concern to which I responded with asking more about it so I could learn to do this safely. He brought up a proposal to make a shooting barrel in "my garage," to which I responded I saw safety and legal issues with that and I don't have a garage. After editing my 5 star review which again was very forgiving following this conversation, he responded by editing his review to try to dox my information and to make wildly false allegations to question my right as a legal CPL owner and as a single father due to a reckless driving ticket due to losing traction on an icy, curvy road. No one was hurt and nothing came of it but the ticket. I can't warn you enough about this man. These fine folks just want you to be happy owners. I've purchased big and small here and the things that stood out for me was: A) zero pressure sales : they acknowledge you but leave you alone to decide. Pick up and item and try it out. When I asked questions and sought advice, I found that the staff I dealt with had the experience to answer them. B) excellent return and exchanges. There were times when I just wasn't happy with my purchases once I brought it home. They put me first and gave me solutions until I was satisfied. They even ordered a scope part for me in Sweden because it sat too low on my rifle. C) they will beat prices What it all boils down to is that they are flexible. Very knowledgeable about firearms -- for example, one time I brought in an older Anschutz target rifle that had something wrong with the bolt; they knew the gun, spotted exactly what it needed and brought in the (very small) part that needed replacing. Bought my second firearm at Reliable last xmas because they took the time to teach me basics on what I should consider being a new PAL holder. Brought a friend with me the next time and he purchased the same firearm. It was an easy decision as well growing up in the neighbourhood in the 70s when I bot my first firearm from Reliable. I came in here to get some cleaning supplies for the birthday, anniversary and Christmas for the guy I am dating. The store is packed. Apparently it is always packed. The customer service was awesome. I know nothing about guns to be honest, I just gave the guy my list and he paid for whatever they had in stock. All reps were busy, therefore, it was a 20 minute wait. I was in no rush. I just said, "Just get whatever is on the list, it's his hobby whatever makes him happy." Everyone went silent and looked at me in surprise. I guess there aren't a lot of females who are okay with their partners hobby. I personally don't give a crap about his hobby but I support it. Prices were a little $$$ but than again, I don't have much knowledge in the hobby to really decipher if what I bought is a good deal or not. All I know that is I am one hell of a girlfriend and I am hoping that the guy I am dating really knows what he got 'cause I doubt most girls would be buying stuff like this to support their man's hobby. read more
