Master Zohar has created an amazing program. He life lessons along with the Tae Kwon Do trainings into each class not to mention a lot of fun and humor. We have noticed a drastic difference in his confidence since he has started the Master Zohar. He has used the lesson on dealing with bullies at school to easily defuse situations. In this period of home quarantine Master Zohar created Classes for the students to do through video conference so everyone could train at home. He could have just closed up shop but he wanted to make sure everyone kept up with their training. Master Zohar really seems to care about each and every student and gives them what they need when they need it. Not to mention that he knows every students name with out even thinking. I would suggest Personal Power to anyone who was interested in Tae Kwon Do training. We look forward to hopefully seeing our son receive a black belt from Master Zohar some day.

This is the only place that called me back immediately, which was a good sign. I said I never did martial arts before and would like to learn with other adults. They asked me to come in for a trial class. When I got there, there were 3 teenagers and 2 other adults, 1 man and 1 woman. The woman only just started, so I thought this was a good start. The opening exercises were good, 100 jumping jacks and some very tough moves, but since I work out frequently, I actually liked the intensity. We then learned some defense moves that I liked also. But then we had to practice these moves with each other. When it was I against the woman, it was fine b/c we both were learning. Then it was the man sparring with the other woman, and it seemed like he's been there for a while, so he did it slowly and showed her the moves. I was thinking, this wasn't too bad. Then it was my turn to spar with him, and I was shocked when he went into attack mode! I kid you not. He pulled and twisted my wrists and pretended to hit me. Unfortunately, we had to do this a dozen times. My wrists and arms started to hurt because he was pulling so hard. Then we were told to add a move where we pretended to push the other person away, and he really pushed me to the point that I had to take several steps back to avoid falling. I had previously boxed before, but that was years ago, and usually against boxing bags or sparring with instructors with pads. So the next time we sparred, I came close to giving him full-blown upper cuts but stopped short, and decided to just block him instead. (I was taught to respect my elderlies, and he was probably 15 years older.) He said with a smirk, "Oh, are you afraid of me?" I said, "No, but I didn't expect to have to fight someone for real in my first class." (In my mind, I was like bring it on, a55h01e!) I may have gotten injured if I was a true beginner. Needless to say, I am never going back. I think they really should separate the beginners from overzealous and overeager showoffs.

That is a good deal if you go every week, for sure. A lesson is usually $33 which is crazy expensive. Had to dock a star because they definitely dock 3 minutes from your 30min lesson. Assuming it's to give time for the transition between classes, but that comes at a cost for the paying customers. I know it's only 3 minutes, but a 30min class is already so short. Wish there were more dryers because there's always a line for it.

We had such a wonderful experience with the Jump Start classes at Goldfish Swim School in Malvern!…read moreMy daughter went from having zero swimming ability to confidently swimming all over the pool in just three weeks. The progress she made was truly incredible! After only three weeks of classes with her instructor, Jayln, she was jumping in and out of the pool, rolling onto her back to float, diving for toys, and swimming around confidently without struggling. We went on vacation right after her third session, and we were amazed to see her confidently swimming and moving around even in the ocean! Jayln was an amazing instructor, so attentive, patient, encouraging, and great with our daughter. She made the lessons fun while helping her build real skills and confidence in such a short amount of time. We absolutely loved her and are so grateful for the foundation she gave our daughter. We couldn't recommend Goldfish Swim School and Jayln more! Going from not being able to swim at all to having this level of confidence in just three weeks was beyond what we expected.

If you miss a class you receive a make up token but you can't actually use that on the day of your enrolled class, it has to be another day. So you will basically be charged for every class at the beginning of each month, regardless of how many make up tokens you have - which doesn't really make sense to me. Instead of problem solving the person I spoke to on the phone talked over me and just unenrolled my toddler from the class. She said we will be switched to "a pay as you go" instead. A few minutes after the call I checked my account and all the make up tokens were gone because she used those as credit for the month. I didn't even get the chance to verify how many make up tokens I had left. We have a pool at home and loved these classes to teach my son the skills needed to swim. My plan was to keep my son enrolled because he just started really enjoying the lessons but we will just carry on with the lessons learn from his swim coach Delisa.

Each class was very challenging and fun. I attended the Barre class by mistake - I thought I was coming to a pilates mat class per the website class schedule. What a challenging class! I couldn't walk for days afterwards - this is a very strong group of women. The class size was small (maybe 5 of us total) and Kris was able to ensure we were all staying true to form. Yogalates was more popular with 10-12 women. The class was fun and motivating. The studio has every prop and accessory needed to play with! Bounce class was challenging and intimate - there was only two of us! Kris modified the class to suit our fitness level, engaged us in partner activities and even threw in some cardio on the bikes. The studio is clean and friendly. I was surprised to see some men using the equipment and getting personal training. There's a room dedicated to spin, a shower and a facial room. Overall a cute facility and great women. The website could use some updating - mainly the calendar and the old website needs to redirect to the new website to avoid confusion.
