Omg Joshua is an artist. I had a little PTSD from a bad haircut right after I moved here (different shop), so my trust was blown. I was in yesterday for my appt but the guy I had booked with was running late and I had stacked my commitments too close. While I was waiting I started watching Joshua cut this guy's hair and he did exactly what I had asked for at the last appointment where my hair cut was botched. That dude did a 1 all over and I had asked for a high and tight bald fade with the top left a one. It was already short. Before I left I went over to Joshua to tell him I needed to leave, but I wanted to get his name and explained what happened the last time. So glad I had the balls to stand up for myself. No shade to the guy I was originally booked with, I just knew what I wanted and Joshua's work is precision excellence, and he did exacly what I asked. And he is a clear communicator with a great personality. Props to my man, you have a new loyal client. As for the other guys at the shop, I will say that I saw a lot of good cuts leave the shop today and yesterday from the other guys working. Joshua's work was just a step above in my opinion. Jean Carlos was very straight to the point. He was meticulous and skilled. It is the best haircut I have gotten in about a decade.

I went here for the first time yesterday and I was very impressed. The area was clean and comfortable with a great vibe to it. I moved to Palm Springs a few months ago and have let myself go (as far as my hair and beard is concerned). I am VERY picky and super loyal. Once I find someone I like, its hard to go anywhere else. My last barber was my go-to for FIVE YEARS! And I did research on a few barbers in my area before I chose him. Thankfully it's beanie season, so I haven't been in a hurry to find a new barber, but have been actively looking. I decided to go to the gym a few days ago, and as I'm walking out I see their sign. Something in my gut was telling me "Go check it out, you might like it." I'm glad I listened! Originally I was just going in for a "vibe check," and to see their prices. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by one of the barbers. He asked me to have a seat and someone would be with me soon. Moments later, I met Eddie! What can I say about Eddie....SO MUCH! Eddie is great! Made me feel like I was "part of the family." He listened to what I was looking for and delivered. Hands down best decision I made all week was to walk in and see what happens. Not only did I leave lookin fresh, but I left with a new Barber! If you're looking for a chill spot with a great vibe and a friendly staff, this is the shop for you. read more

I'm so pleased with our experiences here. My 19 month old son has been here twice (Carlos and then with Daniel) and both men are as talented as they are patient and professional. My "little gentleman" as Daniel called him easily allowed Daniel to work his magic with the clippers. I'm appreciative of the time he took to make sure my guy was looking fresh! The environment has a great vibe overall. They are busy so while walk ins are welcome (and they mean that - I witnessed a very friendly exchange) an appointment might be your best bet. Tori...she was the magician with the scissors and the straight blade. I could be a pain when it comes to hair and facial hair. I explained what I wanted and the turnout was much better than I expected. She even suggested things that she saw could make the haircut and the beard better, and it came out amazing. Not so great the barber tried to get rid of me as quick as possible and I left with a cut that did not fulfill my expectations.

Just a bad haircut. Poorly executed, uneven, and over priced (for some reason also $5 more than the guy next to me.) Nice guys, but very disappointed in the bad haircut. read more

I have been going to this barbershop for about 6 months now. It's convenient to my gym. Friday afternoon I went in to get a hair cut at 4:00. I waited until 5:30 and finally walked out. The owner was right in front of me and kept saying I'd be next. He said I should have made an appointment. Meanwhile customer after customer proceeded to walk in and get a hair cut. I have never had to make an appointment before and the sign says walk ins welcome. I thought thats the beauty of a barber shop that you didn't need an appointment. Had a great experience at this barber shop. My son is a very impatient 7 year old but Martin was able to calm him down and give him the best haircut he's ever had. The staff is courteous and friendly. Martin knew exactly what style to give my son. The shop is clean and I also liked that they are open until 7 pm. I returned to Relentless yesterday for a haircut. It had been over a year since I got my hair cut there, Due to covid. I was glad to see Martin had returned. I got a great cut from him and was impressed that he remembered my preference for a cut. I was really happy with the cut I got and then I went to pay. Martin told me that the prices had gone up. I used to get a senior price of $15, but Now it was $30 with a senior discount!!! Holy Crap! I'm not a cheap or stingy guy and I believe in paying a fair price and I tip well, but this increase was a lot more than I had bargained for. I paid the $30 for the cut and gave Martin a $20 tip. The good feeling that I initially had evaporated. Looks like I'll have to look for somewhere more in line with my budget next time! i'm giving a 4 star despite the fact that I felt ripped off. I seldom write reviews on Yelp but this one is worthy of my time and appreciation for my local barbershop. I've been living in the desert for two years now and found it really difficult to find a barber true to his craft. After rotating through about 4 barbers I found THE HIDDEN GEM in Danny, the owner of Relentless Barbers. Danny is a class act guy. He strives for the best service and ensures you get exactly what you want. From the get go he has became my go to barber. He's made me look fresh and cleaned up on some very important milestones in my life such as job interviews and the engagement to my fiancée. His skill set is by far close to none. My usual haircut is a medium fade comb over up top. Part of his services he throws in a hot towel at the end which at that price can't be beat! I'm writing this review as I reached out to him today knowing he's off on Monday and asked if I can get his colleagues number to get a cut as I have an important interview on Tuesday. Unfortunately that colleague is off as well and the homie went out of his way nd invited me to chop me up just for me first thing in the morning. I pride on great customer service and Danny knows how to keep his clientele coming back. If you live out here in Palm Springs or just in town for the weekend Danny and his crew are the best in town. read more

Got my haircut by Josh H. I had grown my hair out pretty long and wanted to keep it that way, just wanted a slight trim to the sides and back. Specifically asked that there not be a dramatic difference and to please scissor cut. Shows him a close up picture of exactly the style I wanted. The first thing he got out was the clippers, and before I could stop him shaved the the sides. Prior to that, as he was wetting my hair sprayed my forehead instead which then ran down my face. When I got home my wife noticed that the hair on one side was longer by almost 1.5 inches, I could see this when leaving as he had it combed back. Super disappointed. I thought by being specific as to the length, way to cut (scissor cut vs razor) and showing a picture I thought I'd get somewhere close to what I was looking for. I was wrong. read more

Well the cuts are decent for the price. But be forewarned although walk ins are welcome I have been turned away completely. Appointments make it very tricky to gauge how busy this place is. A barber may just be chilling but really he's not free and waiting for a client. I won't be coming back here unless I really had to. It was a waste of my time. Oh and they rarely ever greet you.
