Even if I had the talent of Shakespeare, I couldn't find words enough to explain how professional, peaceful, clean, and comfortable the Concierge Barber made me feel. You feel like you're walking into a high priced, West Hollywood men's salon, without the high price and judgemental attitudes! Not only did I leave here with my skin smooth and hairless, but I will be back now for his barber services as well. The prices are beyond reasonable if you compare them to other stores around town. It's in North Palm Springs, but way worth the cost difference. And what impressed me the most about Fernando, is the time and detail he took to make sure it was done exactly to what I asked him to do. His personality makes you feel calm and at ease, and it's also peaceful if you just wanna lay there, close your eyes and have some moments of relaxation. Five stars if you're looking for a legitimate. and professional place to get any kind of manscaping , barber or haircut services. Thank you Fernando for fitting me in last minute. And thanks for how nonjudgmental you are. I think it goes without saying I will be back and I would highly recommend this to any gentleman who has to take care of their manscape issues! Fernando did in 20 or 30 minutes what would have taken me hours twisting myself around in the shower to get the hair off the back of my shoulders!! Lol. I have only done this a few times before, but this is the first time I have ever done it and I'm leaving here without a scratch on me or a big dent in my wallet! read more

JC is such a kind, talented, professional man. I went in for a groin trim service and was grateful for his calm presence as I was nervous from a bad experience in my past from a different provider. JC took time to explain what he was going to do and what I could expect to feel. There were some pretty good feelings, just saying. I appreciate that JC has an eye for an esthetically handsome outcome of the finished result. Smooth pole and sack feels so good, then it fades up into my body hair naturally, keeping my bearish appearance. JC is so good, I brought my husband in the following day. I also like the appearance and comfort of his space. Can't wait to do it again. Thanks JC! read more

I had the pleasure and good fortune to find this Barber for a large "Manscaping" job. After leaving my body hair growing for over a year, it was long and bothersome and needed to be trimmed everywhere! I saw a 5 star rating on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I made an appointment with JC, and selected the swimmers cut ( removal of all body hair with clippers. It took almost 2 hours, but was very comfortable as I lay on a massage table for the clipping. The finished product was excellent and it was a very Pleasant and professional experience! I will be returning to Palm Springs just for this service in the coming months! I would give this business 10 stars if I could! read more

Great job getting all the fur removed from my back and nether parts that I can't do myself. Very comfortable experience in a clean facility.

This place is a flash from the past, only modern. The owner is extremely charming and knowledgeable of his trade. Although it's a large location, you are the only client during your session. His skill at hair and beards is exceptional. His Manscaping services are some of the finest I've experienced. I alway come out feeling dapper, smooth and refreshed. read more

I made an appointment online and showed up to a lovely waiting room appropriate for a barbershop with easy chairs and beverages that gentlemen would appreciate. JC did a great job on my hair, after almost 9 weeks of no haircut. I really like the atmosphere of the place and I would definitely go back. It is located in the shopping center near Vista Chino and sunrise and has good signage. read more

I always enjoy having an opportunity to share a positive experience when I experience one. I recently relocated to the Palm Springs area and was wanting to make sure I could find a local barber that could do a great fade. Believe me, it's very hard to find. Hence, why I used yelp to help me do my searching. I was able to easily book my appointment online with the desired service that I wanted which made it very convenient. I arrived abuot 10min early and was warmly greeted and offered either a water or a glass of bourbon. I shared a picture of the style of haircut I normally get and was told no problem at all. After 30min of great conversations and a great haircut I was ready to be on my way. I have found my go to spot from now on and looking forward to going back. Thank you for the great experience and great conversations! read more

A lovely guy and very helpful not to mention an excellent haircut. He donates to charity so he's well worth finding. It's a little tricky to find. Remember to ask for the scalp massage that was great. read more

Great haircut, great conversation, relaxing environment and easy to book/schedule. Glad I found JC!

J.C. Did a great job. He was very helpful and prompt in responding to an emailed question I had before setting my appointment. The online scheduling process was very easy and although I was a few minutes early, he was ready for me right on time. J.C. Is very pleasant and made me feel very comfortable. Some may wonder why that matters, but it just does when someone is that close to your face with a razor. He did an exceptional job shaving my head and took extra care to make sure my sensitive skin didn't react with any irritation. I'm only in Palm Springs once per year, but I'll definitely be coming back to see J.C. My partner also went see him the next day for body grooming and was also very pleased with the overall experience and also plans to visit him again. Great job+ great price = excellent value. Go see him! read more

I have to tell you....it is a one on one experience. There are not a bunch of folks waiting to get cut. An appointment is required and I have never had a problem getting the appointment I need. This shop is quite, comfortable and accommodating. I like the beautiful and creative decor accents. My cut is always perfect. Great chatter, great banter. You even get a really nice neck and shoulder massage with his handy dandy hand massager. What a great way to end the cut and get on your way. I highly recommend this barber. Check out his website for other personal grooming options besides just a haircut. You will be glad you did. DAVE read more

JC is amazing and a true professional. I've never gotten compliments on my haircut until he cut mine. I don't live near his shop but it's worth the drive for the personalized care and attention to detail he gives. I'll be back! read more

I've been going here, for more than a year, for manscaping. JC has always made me feel comfortable and relaxed. He jokes and he flirts (a lot), but he's never crossed the line. He's always polite and respectful. This last visit I forgot my wallet. I was embarrassed and said I'd return with money. JC insisted that it was OK and reminded me that Concierge Barber & Man Scaping is a FREE SERVICE! His donations are only suggested and, since I always donate, I had forgotten. I love the professional, luxurious and relaxing service. It's made even better knowing that he gives generously to the community. Thank you, JC! read more

I think most men are with me on this, when I say that the entire process of getting a haircut probably sits right next to jury duty, on the "things to do" list. The entire day; logistics, price range, & on top of all that, it has to LOOK GOOD? Jesus Christ what am I? A competent young woman?! That's where JC's barber/manscaping comes in- Logistics - call for appointment times? What is the the NINETIES? Hello! - UMM user-friendly website bookings/confirmations! What else are we gonna use these $800 mini laptops in our pockets for, hang on let me spend this billion-dollar, life-saving technology on figuring out the name of this song on the radio. Price - get a load of this; the cost for your haircut? Can u say 0.00!!!? I bet you can! But only should if your homeless & cant afford it... the way it's setup is pretty neat... no "set" prices, as you'd see on the walls of other barbershops, but the price standards are basically to pay a normal rate, unless you can't afford too or, because this is America and an orange monkey is actually running against Hillary Clinton, you simply don't want to pay. Let's let our pal Karma, with his big ole' sack of... mitzvah's, do the heavy lifting here. Finally, Looks - my father taught me, hit em before the hair does! Err. Wait sorry thats what my uncle, Touchy taught me. What my father taught me was to love em & leave em. Right guys? Guys?.... guys? Look what am I saying, when I walked into JC's, my hair looked like the Nuremberg trials on ice, & when I walked out, it looked like god, herself's, own hands blessed me with that combover. So wether you're in between handicaps at the country club with the boys, this is Palm Springs so that could mean something totally different.. wait is this Craigslist? PNP anybody? Yelp! Right! So wether at the comfort of your own home on your desktop or laptop, or, on the go using your smartphone/tablet, I would 100% recommend going to JC's website, and booking your first haircut! read more
