My first visit was great, walked in, got a solid cut, no issues. The second time, they couldn't take me and told me to make an appointment. Fair enough. Third time I called ahead and booked an appointment, but when I showed up, the barber wasn't even there. No call, no update, nothing. I've had a few haircuts with Alex. He's great! He listens to what you want, checks in with you during the process, and explains what he's doing and why. He makes sure you know how to properly style your cut after you leave. He's polite and fun to chat with. The place itself is stylish and has a relaxing atmosphere. There are separate little areas for your cut that give your privacy and are away from the road so you don't get distracted by noise or passing vehicles. Nathan Pena is the most reliable and competent hair stylist in the Coachella Valley! I have been going to him for about 10 years. I was not a fan of the shop that he used to be with, but I overlooked that and went only to him. He and an old friend of his have open their own shop (fortunately).
