Great haircut. Great environment. If you want a haircut that is a haircut and not a salon, this is the place for you. Just moved here and after seeing the same barber for 25 years, I found my new barber at 760. Jonn was friendly and very talented. Took the time to ask me what I wanted and see in my hair styling. Couldn't ask for more! read more

Came here after reading the reviews. I've been looking for a place like this since moving here 9 months ago. I like the atmosphere and how clean the place is. Lucy cut my hair and paid so much attention to detail and continue to ask for feedback. You can tell how much pride he has in his craft. I was extremely happy with the service provided. Look forward to my next visit. read more

Booked for 8 AM. Shop was already busy. Lucy was able to take me right away. I wanted a high and tight, narrow blend not long fade. Lucy nailed it, and trimmed the top perfectly. Also did straight razor way up the back and sides as I requested. Also booked a shave and glad I did. 3 towels, oil, lotion, and massage, and sculpted look. Lucy did exactly what I asked and was great to chat with. Juan, the owner, made a point of checking in on me as a new client. Highly recommend for the incredible work, and for the LGBTQ+ accepting space. Plan to be back in Lucy's chair in a few weeks for something a bit more daring, and clear from his Insta the he can do any scissor work you need. read more

5-Star Review: My New Go-To Spot for a Real Haircut and Straight Razor Shave I recently visited 760 Desert Barber Studio, and I have to say--it completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the team was extremely personable and professional. They greeted me like a regular (even though it was my first time), and the energy felt welcoming right away. What really stood out was the unmatched attention to detail. Every snip, line-up, and stroke of the straight razor was precise and thoughtful--they clearly take pride in their craft. The straight razor shave was classic, smooth, and refreshing, with that hot-towel treatment that makes you feel like you're getting the full luxury experience. The cleanliness of the location was spotless. Not a hair out of place, tools gleaming, everything sanitized and organized. In a world where some spots cut corners, this place clearly doesn't. The vibe overall is great--relaxed but upscale, with solid conversation that flows naturally without feeling forced. We talked about everything from local desert life to random life stuff, and it made the time fly by. This is now my new go-to for a real haircut and especially for that straight razor shave. If you're in the Coachella Valley (Rancho Mirage area, but worth the drive from Indio or anywhere nearby), do yourself a favor and book here. You won't be disappointed. read more

Very clean and professional barber shop with highly trained and skilled staff. Jonathon provided a great service product and delivered my best beard line up experience ever. I highly recommend this place. I'm new to the area looking for a new barber. I tried a couple of places but it was kind of difficult finding a barber around the area that knows how to cut straight thin Asian hair. One of my friends suggested this place. Vibe and place was clean. Juan and John were very friendly and accommodating. 100% recommended. read more

Places phenomenal. I was blessed enough to be recommended here I was able to connect with an awesome barber named John and man. Has he taken care of me from getting my mountain man beard controlled and maintained and in a good length looks healthy. I get more compliments now on my beard than I ever did. On top of that, I haven't grown hair in over 25 years. I've had my head shaved. John made me feel comfortable enough to wear. I had him style my hair that I started to let grow and Mann it looks sharp. I get more compliments from people about my hair also and just a taper and all around the package they're great guys Great vibes. Awesome shop clean you would not be disappointed going here highly recommend them. read more

So refreshing to once again find a men's barber shop that appreciates the art of cutting hair to match the individual. No zip zip clippers in under ten minutes. I was very happy to find 760 while visiting the desert and will now time my grooming to a desert visit. Thanks Lucy you are the best. He listened and precisely styled my hair. read more

Me and my fiancé have been coming to John Avila ever since we moved to the valley. Our old barber recommended him, and we're so glad he did. John's chill, friendly, and easy to talk to -- plus, he's a total pro when it comes to cutting hair. We book through Booksy, which makes it super convenient, and there's always plenty of parking. The shop itself is clean, comfortable, and always nice and cool inside. We're definitely sticking with John till the wheels fall off! read more

Jonn is very friendly and engaging. He follows directions and executes his cuts with careful precision. Great atmosphere and super clean studio. I only prefer the striped Barber poles, because it signifies attention to service and quality, a long lost art nowadays. read more

Been going to Juan for over 5years and he has kept the same level of consistency and always has advice for how to cut my hair or options to go with if I don't know what I want myself. That's why I've followed him from one shop to his house calls and now his own studio Juan always brings a level professionalism regardless his setting. Also you can't beat a studio where you can laugh and be comfortable in conversation at read more

On the weekend I was a walk-in and I was as welcomed as if I had had a preplanned appointment. My Barbar was a young man named John who asked me how I wanted my hair to look, and he then proceeded to give me an excellent haircut. During the haircut we talked, John is a local and learned his trade right here in the Coachella Valley. The shop is clean and well maintained with plenty of off-street parking.
