Summarized in two words, a session with the amazing Mary Colleen Murphy is "deeply personal." This…read morewoman has a gift and she shares it to its fullest capacity by putting her heart, mind, and soul into her clients. Anyone can provide physical relief, but it takes the kind of caring individual like Mary Colleen to go beyond the story told by aching muscles and a body that is out of alignment to reach the source of discomfort that brought you to her. There is a difference between a one-off massage and massage therapy. Commit to the long-term care that successive sessions provide and you will both see and feel the difference as your body releases and corrects. You'll walk out of Country Way Massage far better off than how you walked in. Not only will your body feel an improvement, but you will benefit from the soft landing place she provides. As a new client, I have seen a dramatic improvement and would highly recommend her services.

She's very obviously passionate about providing relief and support to her clients through her work. I've been seeing Mary Colleen for a few months now to help keep my leg and ankle limber through several limiting post-injury procedures. Simply put, she has been a godsend. She will tailor every aspect of her services to your unique needs. An experience with Mary Colleen is never, ever transnational. After a few sessions, it will feel like you have a close friend helping you through your unique challenges. She goes above and beyond to do what she thinks is best for her clients and she will accommodate even the most difficult schedules to ensure that her clients get the treatment that they need. Thanks Mary Colleen, keep up the wonderful work! Oh and her prices are more than reasonable. Mary Colleen believes that "massage therapy is a necessity, not a luxury" and that it should be as accessible as possible. Couldn't agree more. Additionally, to reiterate another of first reviewer Bill's points, there is a difference between massage therapy and massage. Although I believe many of Mary Colleen's clients see her for very specific problems to be treated with massage therapy, she can also provide an excellent traditional relaxation massage that most people associate with a one-off vacation service. Both have merits, but the distinction is that massage therapy is associated with a treatment plan (a relaxation massage can be included in that). Mary Colleen does everything very well.

Finally, it's always a bit puzzling to me how some reviewers can make firm pronouncements as to how clean or sanitary a spa is considering they're all basically low-light operations and smell of aromatherapy oils (vs. Lysol), but I can say Spring Spa's reception area and the one massage room I occupied were definitely tidy. :-)
