The language barrier would be difficult to overcome (for me) in most settings, but for this environment, it's not an issue. Super friendly staff! Recently when I have gone there has been no wait which is nice. Even previously when I have had to wait is has been short. It not the exact same experience you would get at a spa but for what you are paying, I think its a great deal. It is a more pressure focused massage and Caleb is my favorite, I feel like he notes where I'm extra tight and focuses there. Definitely recommend to my friends to at least give it a shot but I understand that with it not being a more "spa-like" massage it throws some people off. read more

$35 for sounded too-good-to-be-true and, sure enough, it was as you not only keep on your clothes but also they cover you up with a heavy brown blanket too that makes the massage feel like a rolling pin and only do the feet, ankle, back, neck and head; no shins, quads or abs for us runners and no stomach/chest, either. I've gone to the relaxing station a few times and figured it's time I gave a review. I want to support my local businesses! This is a unique kind of massage experience in the USA. Its not a European, get naked and oiled up in a private room, and talk with your practitioner as you get massaged experience. The ownership and staff speak Chinese, so I'm assuming this is a Chinese style massage. You remain fully clothed and the practitioner wears thin cloth gloves, so there is no skin to skin contact. In fact, they put a blanket over your entire body as you lie face down on the comfortable massage table in a semi-open area. I recommend wearing thin, comfortable clothing. Also, I think the word "relaxation" doesn't really reflect the massage style here. They are all about really working out your knots and you will feel a lasting difference after your massage! About communication, barely a word is spoken in this place, which has its pros and cons. They have a system that is very efficient upon arrival and you select the type of massage, length, pressure, and speed on a slip of paper. Don't expect to communicate details with your practitioner. If you have specific needs, you might want to come prepared with Google translate. For me, a pro of the communication barrier is that I feel no impulse to make small talk with my practitioner. This is indeed relaxing. If it's your first time, I suggest getting a pressure level of 4 out of 10 and slow speed to approximate a typical American pretty deep massage. I can't even imagine how people handle 10 out of 10 here! Also, a shout out to Jack who gave me a great 60 minute full body massage yesterday that I'm still feeling today. He really worked out my knots and tight muscles that were giving me trouble. Now I feel sore but my pain is gone. Exactly what I needed! read more

Why are there no reviews of this place? I just popped in for a date night foot massage with the hubby and it was great!! Cheap, open late and the masseuses were professional. It's not fancy but it's really worth it! When you sign in, you write how much pressure you want so everything is clear. I like a pretty deep foot massage, but asked for a 4, medium pressure, just to test the waters. It was relaxing but I'll get a 7 next time! read more

Excellent massage, excellent price! What a lucky thing, to have this place nearby! I love that there's no need for an appointment and, for my two visits, no wait. Go in knowing that there isn't much English, but you can communicate what level of intensity and speed you want on a simple form, and the masseuse always checks in several times to ask if the intensity is OK. Also go in knowing that if you choose higher intensity, it will be intense--but with the aim of working through and resolving areas of stiffness. For me that is the main attraction: I had my first good sleep in months after yesterday's massage, and it seems to have resolved some of my long-running hip and lower-back pain. I am thrilled. I have been to other places offering this type of massage and I would say it's on par with others in the area. I chose the combination massage for 60 minutes which is half body/half foot massage. It is true the foot massage doesn't deal with reflexology but it was worth it nonetheless. Affordable so I can go often. read more

Excellent experience! I came in as a walk-in and was able to get in right away. I was able to choose the speed and level of pressure from the start. This is a nice, no frills, yet relaxing space. There is a fountain going so there is the relaxing sound of water, along with relaxing music playing. You remain fully clothed, but are covered with towels while the therapist works their magic. My masseuse was Kun and he did a great job at helping me feel relaxed. I got the full body one hour massage and felt like it was well worth the price! My masseuse seemed to immediately sense where the areas of tension in my body were and masterfully helped me relax and worked out many knots that had builds up over the months. I work across the street and after receiving one of those fliers with the discounts I gave it a try. Big mistake, and I will not be back. When I first walked in it was all wrong at first sight... There were two customers, both at the body massage tables. All together 6 employees that and 1 customer that I saw. Animal Planet on the TV (odd) The staff member who was performing the massage service to the paying customer had 3 other employees huddled around the massage table. They were maybe 3 feet from each other but it sounded like they were yelling. When I first walked in I thought they were. The guy who came to the front to check me in didn't speak a word of English. I asked a question and he just stared at me with a blank look on his face. So I re-worded my question to see if maybe he understood it that way. Nope. Then the guy who was actually doing the other customers massage looks up and starts yelling across the room to me "uh, what you want?". At this point I just wanted to get the heck out of there, but thought screw it, I'm already here so I'll give it a try. Maybe their hands are better than their English. Wrong! They started me at the body table and even though I circled the 2-3 pressure (out of 10) he was pushing so hard on my bones that I had to stop him. I try and tell him to go lighter and he didn't understand. I had to finally look over and talk to the other guy who originally asked me "uh, what you want?" He said "OK I tell him". Then they jibber in Chinese for a minute and I know they're talking about me. After being there 4 minutes I got up and walked out. I'm paying to relax, after all this is "Relaxing Station" isn't it? I'm not paying for an hour of loud chatter all around me, being poked to the point it's painful, being talked about in Chinese...NOPE! Since I work across the street I've recruited some of their customers to come to my regular massage spa!! read more

Well, I thought this place was amazing & raved about it to my friends. All things changed on the evening of 9/5/19 when I had a male employee with some attitude. Massage started normal, but he continued to play with my hair for a good 10 minutes to the point it of annoying. (not even a scalp massage) He disappeared from the table & came back to play with my hair some more. At that point, I held my head up and said "no more, please", and pointed to my low back. I reiterated that I asked for a level 6/slow massage. Suddenly, I heard 2 other employees by my bed talking in their language & then all 3 employees giggling. Very disturbing. He seemed to have complied for a while, but toward the end started getting extremely rough with me and kept leaving the table. I have a huge pain tolerance, but the end was simply unacceptable when he pounded my back and the last 2 smacks were opened palms to the point it knocked the air out of me. Screw him!!! He received no tip and I left contemplating filing a police report almost in tears. I'll stick to my other spa where I have to pay a few bucks more. read more

Usually Im very happy with the reflexology here....good service and prices so will leave 4 stars. Today not so much. I understand little English is spoken or seemingly understood and usually can deal with that. I understand each practitioner has a different style. I always request medium pressure and also understand that can mean a different experience. Today was over the top painful (and I've had decades of reflexology and do expect some discomfort). I had to say NO loudly and "lighter, more gentle" (tho that may not have been clearly understood). My request is for staff to watch the face of the person and listen for sounds of distress. My guy did neither today (tho others have been great at this in the past). The tops of my feet can't take deep pressure and I have a bad knee that can't take twisting so it's frustrating to not be able to express that. Am I supposed to use the translator on my phone? Plus he overcharged me a dollar (I had taken into account the tip and svc charge) but there was no point arguing so I just paid it. I will continue going here and hope for a better experience next time and lower the number for pressure when I sign in. Having said all that....my feet always feel much better by the end. read more

We've been to a few Chinese massage places and are used to their style, which can be uncomfortable at times but very restoring, since they focus on the body's meridians and key pressure points. We received a mailer about this new place and decided to give them a try. My husband and I tried the combination. They started with a lay down massage followed by a seated foot massage. The unique thing about this place was that they let you select the pressure level on a scale of 1-9 and speed, before they assign the masseuse. They also set a timer so you know you got what you paid for. They are also reasonably priced. We were both very happy with the staffs' attentiveness, massage treatment, and the results and will definitely be coming again. read more

They even let you choose levels of how fast or slow you want your massage and level of pressure. They are all hard working too. The line can get lengthy, but they ensure that people aren't waiting too long (despite how tired they are from a previous customer).
