I've gotten massages here multiple times whenever my back and neck gets too stiff and they've always done a great job! Prices are very fair and they give you a water bottle at the end of the massage which is really nice! Their massage technique leans more towards acupressure and Eastern massage so they really dig into those stress areas. If you're uncomfortable always let them know and they will adjust the pressure accordingly! It can be uncomfortable for some people if they're expecting a Western type of massage. If you like deep tissue then this is perfect for you. I always get the chair massage and that includes a neck, back, head, arm, hand, and upper butt/ thigh massage. So I have been coming here for years on and off and I have never once been disappointed. I get the 20 to 30 minute chair massages which I love. I always ask them to focus on my upper back/neck area because I have a stiff neck from working on a computer. They are AMAZING I really just can't say enough how good the guy was who worked on me! I have gone to this place about 3 or 4 times and each time it's been wonderful. I did a 35 minutes chair massage today for 30 dollars. The person who massaged me found my target problem areas without me having to say anything and did a great job of stretching my arms and shoulder area after the massage (which I needed because that's my problem area). He applied deep pressure which is how I like my massages as well. The only drawback I would say about this is that it's in the mall and you hear a lot of outside noise and people talking. Also the people who work at the relax station may talk during your massage in Chinese to each other. So if you are anticipating a spa atmosphere/experience, this may not be the place for you. If you are looking for somewhere that allows quick walk ins and gives good pressure during massages, then I highly recommend this place. read more

I've gone to The Relax Section at Stratford (on the second floor) twice for chair massage and both have been really good. The first was by a woman and the second by a man. I told them both I can take a lot of pressure, especially in my shoulders and upper back. But each asked me at various points during the massage if the pressure was okay. (Once I had to tell the man it was too much, but that was lower on my back.) It's true this is a mall atmosphere so you have to tune out the noise from the mall. Afterward my shoulders and neck felt great (this is where I keep the most tension!). If you want a quiet atmosphere where there are more clients and employees, try Feet Feel Spa in Downers Grove (no chair massage there, but the feet + full body; and you keep your own clothes on). read more

I usually come here and have a great experience but last night was a complete nightmare. My masseuse was a man who I never seen before. He was touching me in very inappropriate places and even got on top of me. I immediately told him to stop and get a woman to finish the time. He must have misunderstood and thought that I was requesting a woman because he might have been too rough. I will NEVER come back to this place and I have filed a police report against the employee. When I told the manager what happened he said he does not understand English very well. A young lady came out and I explained the situation to her and she unemotionally said sorry. More like torture! I was there yesterday and the man that gave me a massage was pressing on my lower back so much I had to tell him to stop. I could only take it for 10 min and he kept on insisting my upper neck needed more massage to work on for another 10 min I instantly said NO. After I paid $12 for 10 min the man insisted for me to tip him! After I signed my receipt he kept on insisting to put tip after telling him I didn't want to tip him I gave in and gave him $5 tip that he kept on insisting . I don't think you need to tip someone just because they Say so I felt FORCED to do it and the service was horrible !!! Today I woke up super sore my back hurts more! This is the review for the place on the 2nd floor. This is a typical Chinese massage place. Rates are about $1/min. They offer a table massage, chair massage, foot massage and combos of the different massages. Some of the workers don't speak English so sometimes they will bring out the menu for you to point so there is no miscommunication. Recently they had a $29 foot massage special for 1 hour which was similar to the hour foot massages you get at other establishments (foot + head + full body). That was a good deal. One thing I like is that it's usually not too busy, so I can stop in without worrying about an appointment. There are very few places you can do that and still get a decent massage. Massage wise, this place is good if you like to get pounded to a pulp. I happen to enjoy that kind of deep tissue massage so for the most part I am pretty happy. I think they will go softer if you prefer something less deep. I like to go here while my wife goes shopping. It's a good excuse lol. Sure I'll go to the mall with you. Do you mind if I get a 30 minute back massage while you browse? Win win. They have a punch card which gives you some sort of free massage after 10 visits I think. I really love this place. I have a chronic muscle pain syndrome and I prefer to go to this place rather then any other massage place (I've tried a lot of them) this place definitely always has me coming back. I dont need to tell them whats going on with my muscles its like they can just feel the issues and work them out. I always recommend this place to my family and friends. More like "Torture" Section II....First of all, as a woman I urge other women to avoid this place. The man that did my chair massage gave me the creeps especially towards the end when he rubbed my thighs asking me if I wanted 10 more mins. I could not get out of there fast enough and his massage technique....well I would not call this a massage, it was very painful and I am in extreme discomfort now from how painful & uncomfortable this was. I wouldn't be surprised if I develop bruises overnight. I would give this shady place zero stars if I could. Next time I will spend my money at a Massage Envy or Hand and Stone. read more

i had a1 hour $29 foot massage and that includes neck, head, shoulder, hands, and back massage as well.. after that i feel so relaxed and refreshing. i would recommend everyone to go there because its cheap and people are nice too. read more
