Came in for a one hour massage. Lady started, but kept stopping to talk to people, go take care of things, and even switched with another person several times. For nearly an hour the same spot on my shoulder got massaged. Supposed to be a full body massage. Nothing done on the legs. Again, I was left on the table while they took off to do something. I got up, got my stuff and asked to speak to someone who could understand. They wanted to charge me for a full massage, but I explained them that I didn't get one. Ended up forcing me to pay $38 for nothing. Last couple of times at this place, the massages have been less and less competent. Should not be that way. read more

BUYER BEWARE! I've gone to both locations a handful of times and it has been pretty pleasant up till now. It's not the quietest of places at times but what I've recently discovered is GROSS and unacceptable!!!! I witnessed that the workers simply fold up the used soiled towels after each use and use on the next patron. That goes for the tables too! The simply iron out the table cover add a new paper towel and done. After witnessing that I demanded new towels & table covering. I walked in and the whole place was so quiet. The staff asked me to select what I wanted and circle what was desired. I had never been here before so I didn't know what to expect. I've had a sore arm from several poking and prodding at the doctors office. As well as a stiff knot in my shoulder due to stress. I just wanted to get taken care of, I selected a full body massage for 40 mins. They gave me a water and shortly took me to the back. I laid down and took of my shoes. (Which my bad my feet probably stunk) LOL! Anyways this staff not only popped the knot, but they put me to sleep!!! I was drooling and knocked out, the massage was so good! One of the worst massages ever. The masseuse started at my neck and kept rubbing for an extensive amount of time, only side. I thought that I had a knot that he was trying to get out. Then, he moved his hand about 1/2 inch and used his elbow for an excessive amount of time. By the third time, he moved down my back, I picked up the pattern. He used his elbow 50 times in the same spot, then move down. It was absolutely ridiculous. I asked if he could massage my head and I thought he was using eat cleavers. The guy that gave me a massage smelled like smoke and made me smell like smoke the rest of the day. The massage wasn't any good either. I paid for a full body massage and it seemed like the only thing he worked on were my shoulder blades for almost the full hour. I've gotten many massages at Relax Reflexology in different places and have nothing bad to say about any of them, but the one I just went to in Canyon west Lubbock was not good at all. Had a really good experience. Been wanting to try this place for a while. I did a one hour combination massage. I liked that they ask you to put on paper how hard you want your massage so there's not as much confusion. I was a little disappointed it was a little under an hour since that's one of my biggest pet peeves when getting a massage. The lady that worked on me was Celeste. We went and were told it would be a 30 minute wait. Waited 45 and then were told by Gabby & Devon that they were the only ones there and they were closing in 40 minutes and there were 2 people ahead of us so they could not keep the appointments. They said it wasn't their fault. These kids were likely in there mid to late 20s. It was VERY disappointing after sitting there for 45 minutes to be told to leave. We didn't have time to do anything else that night either because they took all of our time with us waiting. Gabby and Devon were quite rude too! Very argumentative and Devon even raised his voice when I told them how long we had waited and how much I really felt they were doing wrong here. He raised his voice and said "The Chinese people don't get it, they don't understand so it's not our fault". read more

I was sad when it was over and I had to step out of the relaxing ambiance and back into the world. I wanted a 10 minute massage based on a Yelp photo of the "menu" but they seem to have removed that from the services. Now an $18 chair massage, what I got, is the most affordable. Some of my tension was relieved but I think I may have needed more time or a different technique to really work the knots out. I've had far better massages elsewhere but this is probably the best bang for your buck in the Lubbock area. I didn't like the use of abrasive paper towels as massage chair covers, particularly the face portion. I was also kind of disgusted when my massage person proceeded to pull my ponytail up higher with her own hair clip but I think this was one of those situations where workplace sanitation intersects with differing cultural norms about hygiene. read more

Wonderful! Clean, friendly and one of the best reflexology massages I have ever had. We walked in and while there was a communication barrier, there was a sign in sheet that allowed us to specify the time, type and pressure we desired. My back had been sore for days. Good massage at a decent price. They get the knots worked out and that is why I go. No, they don't speak the best English, and I've never actually signed up for an appt. This is the most peaceful place I have been in Lubbock. I got a 40 minute foot massage from Jerry. The music is very relaxing, I was comfortable under a towel while declining in a nice chair. My eyes were covered with a cloth so all I focused on was the perfect pressure applied to my feet and the relaxing music and animal sounds with running water. No one spoke a word so this isn't the place to go if you want to visit with friends. They don't appear to speak much English but everything was perfectly communicated by a brief form you fill out for your services and another at time of payment. My new goal is to be able to come once a week. I can wait to try their other services. read more

I recently tried this place since they take walk-in's. I had heard that the therapists disappear or stop if you fall asleep or get on their phone... but I tried it anyway since it's close to home. Interestingly enough, that's exactly what happened! During my 60 min table massage, the individual stopped about 5 times, several minutes each time. I think he thought I was asleep. When we were done, as I was gathering my things, I glance over to the next table and the therapist was on her iPhone on Facebook with her elbow on the customer, slightly moving it around. I had hoped for a different experience since it was close and convenient, but I likely won't return. I'll continue going to the one at the mall. That place is awesome! read more

I loved this place! I used Katy and she was wonderful. I got the combination 30 min massage and 30 min foot massage I requested a table instead of the chair. I thought I wouldn't like being massaged through my clothes but it was great. The foot massage was in another reclined chair was amazing. I drifted in and out of sleep.
