My experience here was not as expected based on the views. I came in with specific points of pain that I asked for help with knots in my back, and the masseuse suggested hot stone massage. So we tried that, but I could not get comfortable on her table and though she applied the stones and pressure as she could, she never really achieved enough pressure to relieve my pain and situation. I left there unrelieved, and a chiropractor the next day took care of the problem. I feel like there were some language issues as well, so your experience may be different. read more

Would not recommend at all, massage was the worse I've ever gotten. While I was on the table, someone else walked in and started talking to the person massaging me. Room was bright as heck, masseuse answered a phone call, she was talking for a few minutes, then hung up and started texting right in the middle of my massage. No pressure at all, felt like she was just rubbing oil on me. I really contemplating cutting it short but I was already there. Did not tip, but paid for my visit. She was not going to give me my change and expected to keep it. I told her I didn't like the experience and the massage was not good and I needed my changed. She finally pulled out my change. Will not be returning, waste of time and money. read more

The masseuse was inappropriate. She offered services that were not on the menu for extra money.

There are a handful of massage places in Carson and this one is by far the best. Everyone here is incredibly talented and professional and the rooms are always super clean. Easily my favorite massage place. Try it out, you definitely won't regret it. read more

Relaxing Messages Spa was great! My husband and I made appointments for a couples message for two. We had a great and relaxing time, and the price was great. I just started working out again and my body hurts! I left there feeling wonderful and renewed. Definitely making another appointment. The only thing was there is a language barrier but I will come prepared next time for sure. read more

This is the third time I've come here. The first time was just okay, but I'm always willing to give it another try. The second time was really good. I had a male massage therapist. Today I went for a foot and back massage. I really wanted my feet targeted and when I got there I told the girl I wanted the foot and back massage. I also booked my appointment that way online. When my massage therapist came in I pointed to the scar on my foot ( from surgery) and told her I DID want my feet massaged , but didn't want my toe bent in anyway. She said, okay, okay. Mid massage she did my back and legs and then went to my feet and didn't do anything. I should have said something then, but I kept waiting for the foot massage. Didn't happen. She left the room a couple times mid massage, and then ended my hour massage five minutes early. After I asked her if she gave me the foot and back massage, she said no full body. I told her I asked for something else and she said , you said not to massage your foot. Anyway, I guess it was a communication gap, but I won't go back here again. read more

Not a great experience. I called first to ask if they were available for a massage, and she said yes. So I arrived at the massage location on Winnie Lane, and she asked how many minutes I wanted. I said one hour (60 minutes). She then made me pay right away $90 since I was using a credit card and immediately started asking for a tip. I said, "I haven't even gotten the massage yet, she said "OK" The massage started at 11:45am. Throughout the session, she kept leaving the room, five times total. She goes out the room every time the doorbell/entrance bell rings then she will talk to somebody in their language. The massage itself wasn't great either, she mostly used her forearm instead of her hands. She wrapped up at 12:30pm, which meant the session was well short of a full 60 minutes given how much time she spent stepping out. As I was about to leave, she kept pushing for a tip, even though she'd left the room five times and hadn't given me the full 60 minutes I paid for. I told her I'd tip, but that I'd put it on my credit card. She agreed! Overall, a pretty disappointing experience. read more

I was actually in tears because of the worst flexors on my legs . Walking on the back and putting all that pressure on my calves and hip flexors, glutes & feet . Ask for the balance bars so they can walk on your back and legs, neck & shoulder's. I had neuropathy from my sciatica pain when I got there and I walked out without it. I had a migraine and she smoothed it out too read more

I highly recommend this place. I go twice a week and it has really helped the pinched nerve I have in my neck. Clean, quiet, and really great people! read more

I was in town for a client meeting. I am late 60's, and have had back issues on and off for years. Woke up that morning with really bad low back pain. Don't know if I just slept wrong, or did something to aggravate it the day before. My meeting was at 2PM, with a flight out at 7 that evening. I Googled "massage near me" . After reading about the places nearby, I decided on Relax Massage Spa. I walked in, kinda bent over from my low back pain. Lady greeted me and right away said, "back problem?" . Her name was Lisa and she led to the back. The shop is very nicely decorated, very clean. I explained where it hurt and my history of back issues. Though her English was not great, she seemed to understand. She told to get undressed, but leave my boxers on. She came back with some oil and lotions and started on my shoulders. Lisa was unbelievable. I laid there while she seemed to find every knot and loosened it up. I then for the first time for me, she started walking on my back with slow, steady pressure. I left there standing straight again and got thru the day and the flight home without any problems. Thank you Lisa! read more

My boyfriend and I came in for a 90 min full body massage. I feel a bit bad for saying this but the lady who was massaging me - I don't think she was a masseuse - I think she maybe worked as a cleaning lady there and the owner pulled her in to do the massage since she had no one else. She pressed on my nerves and bones mostly and only sometimes muscle. She also tried to move/stretch? my shoulder joint in a way that made me feel like I was going to get injured. At that point I told her I didn't think she was doing it correctly and asked to not do my back anymore, just lower body. The lady who was massaging my boyfriend (I think she was the owner) then switched and massaged me instead. She gave a normal massage and I even fell asleep because it was pretty relaxing. My boyfriend told me that my lady (who had switched to him for the last 60 min of the massage) definitely did not know what she was doing or where to press. I don't want to be that annoying person but honestly the reason I chose this place out of the places in Carson city is because of the 5 star reviews. I would recommend trying out one of the other massage places or if you go here, maybe specify you want the owner to do the massage. If we hadn't switched masseuses, I would've stopped the massage and asked for a refund or just left. read more

Absolutely amazing experience! Cindy and Kylie have the touch. Have the fire cupping as well and will absolutely be back. Kind people, super clean and calming atmosphere. read more

I was long overdue for a massage, and my session with Cindy at Relax Massage turned out to be one of the best massages I've ever had! Cindy suggested fire cupping because she noticed my nerves could really benefit from it. She even upgraded the oil to a Vitamin C blend and utilized the Gua sha tool. I'm so glad for her recommendations. The Vitamin C oil felt soothing, and the guasha helped work out knots I didn't even know I had. The fire cupping is making a huge difference in improving my circulation and gave me deep relief, while the hot stones at the end melted away all my tension. In the end, I felt all the stagnant energy in my body being released, and I left feeling renewed. Cindy's attention to detail and intuitive care for her clients is truly special. The name 'Relax Massage' says it all--it's the perfect place to unwind and heal. I can't recommend Cindy enough for anyone looking for a truly restorative experience! read more

I've been to several high-end massage places, but nothing compares to the quality of this massage! It was my first time getting cupping, so I didn't know what to expect, but I loved it and felt great afterwards. There was no wait when I got there, and everything looked and was professional. For all that you get, the price is amazing. This will be my new go-to for getting massages! read more
