Hot Stone (with Gaylene) in the summer was incredible One of the best gifts I've ever given myself. Couples Massage is intuitively highly recommended. To say the this is highly civilized would be an understatement. To say it's between spiritual, even divine, and a healing treatment for the body is my bottom line. Do it! Thank you Gaylene. read more

Beautiful space and super nice staff. The massage was average. I asked the tech to increase pressure during the massage but it didn't happen. Basically felt like I was just getting lotion rubbed into my body. read more

Such an amazing massage! It was very relaxing, yet great for my sore muscles. My massage therapist, Gaylene, was kind and made the entire experience wonderful! I highly recommend the hot rocks! I look forward to my next visit! read more

My fiancé and I had an incredible couples massage with Gaylene and Nick, and we truly can't recommend them enough! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely comfortable and welcomed. They were warm, professional, and incredibly attentive, taking the time to ask about our needs and focusing extra care on the areas that needed the most attention. You can genuinely tell they are passionate about what they do and committed to providing an exceptional experience. We both left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and so much better than when we walked in. If you're looking for a truly top-notch massage, Gaylene and Nick are the absolute best! We can't wait to come back. read more

Well Being - Massage Near Me - Kings Beach, California

My bf and I were in town for a work trip and had gone snowboarding a day before we booked our massage. He was feeling pretty sore and I've always had a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders and was excited to try a massage for the first time. We called same day for a couple's massage on the weekend and were lucky to get a spot! Tiffany and Nick were great for both our first time doing full body massages. I felt amazing a day after the massage. Reasonable pricing for a relaxing hour session. read more

I'm one of the lucky ones to receive a massage by Nick. I randomly ended up at Well Being after many years of just driving by and wow I had no idea what I was missing out on. As an avid outdoors and fitness person, I sought a massage because my body was fatigued and I was experiencing some dull pain in my knees and feet. Although I've had massages before, I wasn't a regular massage customer, that is until realizing the benefits of Nick's expertise, talent and caring approach. When I left his massage, I was literally a different person feeling stronger, relieved and downright better than ever. This state of "Well Being" has continued since. As a long time Tahoe local, I waited a while before writing this review because I wanted to be sure about my words...just as I felt during and right after this experience at Well Being, I still believe today that it was most certainly "The Best Massage Ever!" With that said, I'm going to become a regular customer and cannot afford not to be. I also enjoyed their thoughtful wonderful shop and met Sarah (co-owner w/Nick). Thank you WELL BEING, Kings Beach, Tahoe! read more

They were able to accommodate myself and my 2 friends 2 at a time and my daughter came after us! We had Tiffany and Nick and both were very professional didn't talk too much just enough to ask us what we needed in our session... very nice chill massage in Kings Beach We'd go back! read more

Fantastic massage by Katie. Sarah the owner is lovely. Online booking is super easy. They were open on a holiday. Comprehensive selection of crystals very reasonably priced. The whole place has zen positive energy. Many of the staff practice Reiki. Highly recommend! read more

Tweaked my back (which had a prior issue) out on the slopes and needed a massage fast. This placed offered on line booking with a list of available appointments, which i found very helpful (i would actually give them six stars for this feature as I've had very mixed results trying to book up at the lake over the years). I was lucky that I could grab an appointment the same day with Nick. Nick was excellent, he asked me about what I needed (which is typical of any good therapist) and worked through the issues that was causing my back tightness. Nick is also a snowboarder who knows the places to work that get angry from boarding. Since i had found this place on Yelp and the experience was perfect I felt compelled to leave this review. read more

I had the best massage yesterday at Well Being! It was so good, that I went back for more today! Tiffany was my massage therapist. Where do I start??? She's just amazing! Her pressure was perfect, strong hands and her technique was the best I've ever had! Thank you Tiffany! I'll see you next month! Jodi read more

My daughter in law and I loved it here!! She had Meghan for a hot stone massage and I had Allison- both were amazing!! I get massages about every 3 weeks and it's hard to impress me but I highly recommend this place!! read more

The staff are kind and hospitable. The message was incredibly calming and focused on areas I wanted, as they have you complete an in-take form. You get a chance to specify areas you want your masseuse to focus on that form. Afterwards the masseuse takes a minutes to ask if you are uncomfortable with anything. Overall, I feel the experience was thoughtful of the client which made me comfortable and confident in their work. read more

I've lived in Kings Beach for almost 3 years and i only recently discovered that Well Being has yoga classes in addition to services and a whole shop in front! I finally got a morning off from work & i was very excited to attend the community yoga class offered every Sunday from 10-11am for $10. I was one of 4 in the class, 2 ladies being 65+ & Nick was fantastic with creating a class that challenged each of us. He was very helpful with poses and fixing postures; this is something that is very important to me when doing yoga. This is a perfect class to get your morning/week started. I look forward to coming back for my community classes & hope to see others from my town there too! read more

Amazing massage. Send all of my friends here! Nick has been my therapist for a few years now. Highly recommend him and Well Being!

Came to Kings Beach for a much needed getaway to relax and enjoy the area. Naturally we booked a massage towards the end of our stay to help us recover from all of the activities. My husband and I booked a couples massage via their online portal which was fairly easy to use. I quickly observed they had great prices and options. We opted for the 90 minute. Upon arrival check in was a breeze and there was hardly any wait time. I had Nick and my husband had Gaylene. Both went above and beyond. Nick really knew how to find those knots and work them out, it was amazing. Gaylene applied the perfect amount of pressure and got my husband very relaxed, he was knocked out! I would highly recommend them and I look forward to coming back when I am in the area. read more

We were in search of a place for massages after a couple of days of skiing. We called and were able to schedule a couple's massage. The space is beautiful and very calming. The two masseuses were wonderful. We were treated like regulars. We will definitely return next time we are in Tahoe. A real find! read more

I started having a crick in the neck a few days before our drive from SoCal to Tahoe for a quick weekend trip. I booked a deep tissue massage with Nick for my partner and a Swedish massage with Gaylene for myself and made note of my stiff neck pain when making the reservation. The day after arriving to Tahoe, we went on a hike which aggravated my neck pain, and when we arrived for our couples massage appointment later, Gaylene and Nick greeted and spoke to us prior to beginning. I never was gung-ho about massages but this was one of the best massages we have received--I definitely fell asleep because of how relaxing it was. My partner and I went kayaking the next day for over 2 hours and swam in the lake, and I did not have any neck pain!! I don't know what Gaylene did but my neck feels so much better. Thank you so much Gaylene and Nick! read more

My daughter and I love body treatments, so when we drove by Well Being Massage, we booked massages on a whim. We both wholeheartedly agree that our massages were among the BEST we've had anywhere. And, from the moment we walked in, the experience was lovely--warm, inviting space, and everyone there was super friendly. If you have time to sneak in a little pampering or after ski/play recovery, do yourself a favor and book an appointment at Well Being Massage. read more

Amazing people and service!! If you need to be grounded, relaxed, cared for ... don't miss it!!

This was one of the best massages I have ever had. It was very clean and calming as soon as you enter. My husband and I both had the honor of receiving massages from Gaylene and Tiffany. Both ladies were amazing. Tiffany really took her time on my muscles and left my body feeling brand new. I personally hold ALOT of stress on my neck and shoulders and Tiffany knew how to melt away all the built up stress and tension on my upper body. I left standing up straighter and relaxed. Gaylene made my husband feel like he was walking on clouds and placed perfect pressure on his muscles. I highly recommend this gem you will not regret it. read more

One of my all time favorite places to buy crystals. Every time I'm in the area I make sure to stop by and I always find something new. They have a great selection and carry more unique stones along with plenty of the staples. Prices are also very reasonable compared to some of the up charges these types of stores can have. Stones are organized by color and the open layout feels great. A small selection of beauty products and gifts can be found here as well. Hopefully one day will be able to attend a yoga class in the studio as well read more

Wow. What can I say? Where do I even begin?? First off, making a reservation online was seamless. You can pick your masseuse based on what you need. We went with whoever was available. They called later that day to confirm the appointment. My boyfriend and I went in for a 1 hour massage today. He's got a problematic back and I just like to be put into zen mode (however, my body was hurting from a snowmobiling trek from the day before). Nick, the owner, was my boyfriend's masseuse and he took time to understand his needs and did some serious work. My boyfriend was very impressed. I had Elysse and she was a GEM! Checked in on me, told me to breathe as she was killing a knot, and had magical hands. I literally was in a zen/relaxed coma after an hour with her. Everything she did felt amazing. She ended the massage with lavender oil on my chest, neck, and head. It was to die for. We left very happy and satisfied. The rooms and entire place were clean and welcoming. When we come back to Tahoe, we will definitely pay them another visit!! read more

Booked a private yoga session at Well Being with Nick for our anniversary. This was my husband's first time trying yoga, hence the private lesson, and Nick was fantastic! He took us through breathing and meditation and basic yoga poses and stretches. We loved this experience! Later in the week I went back for a massage and a facial. The massage with Gaylene was wonderful! I went in with a headache, and came out with the headache gone and feeling rejuvenated, peaceful and relaxed. Gaylene is a healer. Saving the best for last! The best part of my experience with Well Being was my facial with Suzanne Jordan. WOW! I have had facials all over the world and this was hands down the best facial of my life. She is excellent! She quickly and professionally analyzed my skin and made great suggestions and recommendations. Suzanne uses fantastic Rhonda Alison products. I was completely blown away by how amazing my skin looked after she finished. I told her she is a miracle worker. She is! Highly, highly recommend! read more

My husband and I needed time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We decided to spend a few days at Lake Tahoe for some much needed respite. We found Wellbeing on yelp, gave them a call, and made an appointment for two 1-hour massages. We planned it so that it would happen after our day of skiing and before our romantic dinner. It was perfect. Sarah and Nick are amazing! They have wonderful energy and technique. They must have had a radar bc they were able to hone in on the muscles that most needed the attention. They also felt our breathing patterns and massaged to rhythm of our breaths. It was the best massage experience we've ever had. The atmosphere was relaxing. The facility was very clean and had a wonderful fragrance. The massage beds were warmed. Sarah and Nick were themselves wonderful people. They own the business. We are looking forward to coming back again. Ps. There is parking at the side of the building. Come early to drink tea before your appointment. Plan a wonderful dinner afterwards in one of the many nearby restaurants. (BTW, the waitress at the restaurant we ate at saw the Wellbeing brochure I was holding and highly recommended this place too. She said, "This is the only place that can massage her swimmer's body without her feeling lethargic in the end.") read more
