I parked on the street about a block away. I was told it was free to park and I didn't get a ticket, however you may want to do your own research on the parking situation. Admittedly, I was late to arrive for my reservation. I live in Cobb county and the traffic was terrible. However, we were still able to have our full dinning experience. However, this is not the type of place you just pop in to. They may be able to accommodate you, but I would not take any chances. I would highly recommend making reservations My party of 2 was seated at a table where 2 other patrons were already seated. We were in close proximity to the open kitchen - which was nice ! All of the staff had great personalities. You can tell that team work makes this concept work. This is not a traditional dining experience. To start- it is a community dinning space. You might find yourself in close proximity to people you don't know. Additionally, while there is a menu, you don't order ahead. All of the dishes are presented table side. The chef that prepared the items gives you the details about the dish. You can opt in or out of trying it. If you opt in they do mark it off so that they will know what to charge you for at the end. I also appreciate the open kitchen. There is only a small glass separating the kitchen from the dining area. You can see everything that is happening! For the food - honestly I loved everything except the banana pudding. It was just ok. I would not have to have it again. We had the following items: Chicken liver Shrimp Oysters Trout Carolina gold Cucumber The beef offering was turned into a fish fish And another item was turned into a vegetarian dish For a total of 12 items our bill was $242.25 prior to taxes. Was it worth it - absolutely! I can't wait to check it out again ! NOTE: our favorite dish was the shrimp dish. It's hard to describe it, but the taste and texture were perfection! I also appreciate that they can accommodate dietary restrictions. For example, I do not eat red meat and the fried I went with is pescatarian. For our entree, I ordered a trout and my husband ordered the duck breast. I was a bit underwhelmed when I saw my plate because I was thinking it would be a plate full of grits, but what was served was the perfect amount because it was quite heavy. The trout by itself was too salty for my taste, but was best eaten with a bite of collards and grits. My husband enjoyed his meal, but wished the duck was cooked a bit more. For dessert, we both enjoyed a Paris Brest. Our server actually put it in twice so we each got one when she meant to only punch in one, but she ended up taking one off from our bill.
