I saw Dr. Finkelstein for intense back pain. He has been crucial in alleviating it and helping me to return to my normal activities. He and his staff at the Roswell Surgery Center, particularly Michelle, Kara, Colleen, Shannon and Gary, were caring, competent, and attentive. I will always be grateful to them all for making those uncomfortable procedures almost enjoyable. I would highly recommend Dr. Finkelstein and his staff to anyone suffering from back pain. read more

Would love to leave a zero star. Staff was fairly nice. But no pre-op was done or required. I was taken back for surgery in my street clothes with a hospital gown over them. Only took my sock of the foot they were operating on. Apparently they don't care about sterility of the surgery suite. I was woke up. The nurse put my shoe back on my other foot and wheeled to the facility door. Expected to use crutches immediately after surgery to get to our car. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. read more

I am not sure that anyone can call a visit to any surgery clinic can be enjoyable, however the the people that attend to you can make or break the outcome of the procedure. The crew, or should i say team. that tended to me on for during my recent surgery was incredible. From Shirley in check-in and Patty my Pre-Op Nurse, Alice and Dr. Eppihart and Patricia my sleep specialists, to Resecea and Mimce and Chris my O.R. techs. (Sorry if i have misspelled anyone's name or missed anyone.) I could not ask for better care. I would be remiss if i did not mention the best "bone cutter" in the business Dr. Jeffery Albert. The most disorganized, disjointed, inefficient, clunky pre-op procedures -- including anesthesia prep -- that I've ever encountered after having more than a dozen surgeries. They're clearly overbooked or just unable to handle pre-op procedures in an efficient, comprehensive, systematic way that doesn't repeatedly disrupt patients' lives or add to their stress and anxiety. Can't speak to their actual medical care ... I ended up booking my procedure somewhere else. read more

I went here yesterday with my parents because my dad was having surgery. The waiting room is really nice complete with comfy chairs, a television, coffee, crackers, and friendly service. After my dad got called back and got suited up we were able to come back in the room to hang out with him until he fell asleep from the premium drugs they were serving. The nurse helping us was very friendly and even went along with my dad's outgoing personality :) After he was all prepped for surgery my mom and I made our way back to the waiting room. The doctor came out and gave us updates as necessary and was really informative. All in all it was a good experience for me and my dad but hopefully we won't have to come back any time soon :) read more

Technically, I would prefer to only just give no stars to this facility, but because I cannot do so on the count that Yelp will not allow me to do so, I will only be giving one star. The staff is unbelievably rude. I will never come back here ever again. I definitely do not recommend having surgery here nor do I recommend this surgical facility at all whatsoever. Poor handling of billing. I was making regular payments on my bill every month and they STILL sent it to collections....told me it was for monitoring not collections....When I called mnet...surprise , i was told they ARE a collections agency!!! If you are making regular payments you account is considered late and should not be sent to collections. I have never had this happen at other medical facilities or hospitals where I was making regular payments......I would not recommend this place. I will never come back. read more

1 star rating because 0 stars was not an option on this! I felt like an animal being pushed through a cattle car! The more/faster the better, cha ching, cha ching. BEWARE, more bills are forthcoming after your surgery!! - ask for proof of every line item and broken down to the last band aid because the devil is in the detail (or cleverly hidden within)! I had knee surgery at Roswell Surgery Center because this is where my renowned Orthopedic performs all his procedures so this was not a choice as to where I could go. I arrived 45 minutes early to complete paperwork and to pay for 3 different co-pays. Yes, it's the latest racket that you now have 3 individual co-pays;first for the orthopedic, second for the anesthesiologist, and finally for the surgery center. That is not the end of your financial woes as they still have their hand in your pocket ! When you go to the Roswell surgery rehab center, they charge you for a "specialist" insurance charge of $50 PER VISIT and then they scalp your insurance carrier for another $200 + for PER VISIT. Too bad the average person will not have the necessary disposable income for 12-16 visits over 6-8 weeks! Too bad my ortho prevented me for full rehab and recovery, due to these excessive rehab charges. I asked them how they sleep at night as was told just fine as my insurance pays it! A huge issue for me was the "pain block" charge which their clerical staff could not show me proof they advised me of "when" this was explained to me on surgery day. I said I never heard of this $3040 charge (above and beyond the anesthesiologist) charges. When I asked them to 'prove' this was explained me BEFORE I was put under, they could only advise me of 'their procedures" and that they had advised me before I was under. Although my portion of this after my insurance (paid $192.40) is only $48.10, it is the principle and not the pennies. No doubt they are gladly snatching this from 97% of population but I feel this is a quick maneuver on their part. Note I did NOT use the 'S' word that ends in 'cam'. It is very sad to think of the hundreds of thousands of $$$ they get over time from the 97% ers who just pay the invoice amount and never ask or question what they are charged for! I feel like an abused animal and will NEVER recommend this surgery center to anyone. read more

Performed my l5-s1 fusion years ago. Still in much pain and he is stonewalling me on getting a new MRI done to assess treatment. After 2 visits plus an ER visit within 6 days, he reluctantly submitted a request for a new MRI, very condescendingly and adamant it would denied and was a waste of time. I called my insurance after leaving the office to be informed I am pre approved for an MRI. Everyone I spoke to found it very suspicious he would be so reluctant to try to help my crippling pain. Do not see this man if you're having back problems. If he fails on fixing you surgically, he will stonewall you from further assessment, likely in fear for his works credibility. read more
