I've been a patient at Roswell OBGYN for over ten years. I'm pregnant with my third child and confirmed my pregnancy there in late December with a 7 week ultrasound. I told the doctor I was considering a home birth but wasn't sure since I'm 35. The Ultrasound tech said there was a tiny spot of old blood in the uterus that she wouldnt even say anything about but wanted me to know in case I had some mild dark spotting. She said I could come back in two weeks to confirm it was gone in a follow up ultrasound. I did not have any spotting and when the time came near to return for the follow up, I called the nurse and let her know I wanted to decline the follow up ultrasound (which went along with seeing the doctor to discuss it I guess). A week later, I got a certified mailed letter terminating me as a patient because I canceled my appointment and because I "have decided on a home birth". I never even saw my prefered provider to discuss that choice and now I never will I guess because she has terminated me as a patient. After ten years. Incredible. I had a horrible experience delivering my first child with Roswell OBGYN and that's why I was considering a home birth. The standards of practice are intrusive and the staff are condescending, rude, and do anything BUT trust a mothers instincts. The doctors have the worst bedside manner possible and the wait times are ridiculous. Women, do not give this practice your time and money. They see you as a number and a check box to mark off their list. read more

THEY NEVER VERIFIED MY INSURANCE WHEN I ASKED SEVERAL TIMES!!!! I came in for new patient appointment, even somehow paid a 25$ co-pay. A week later I come in for labs, I even asked again if insurance was going to cover this. I then waited for 10-15 minutes, they took said labs had me out the door, 15 minutes later they call me saying my insurance can't even be verified!!! ( I had just switched to PRN to FT at my job) You are telling me that when you first collected my id card over the phone, then in person then when with a week apart you never once verified my insurance?? Where did the 25$ co-pay even come from ?? Do you know home much a first time specialist appointment is?? Do you know how much they charge for ultrasound?? And now how that's allllll out of pocket along with the genetics testing?? If you needed money I would have donated, you didn't have to be sneaky and steal it from me! I started working nights to help pay for my baby's future and that has not been ROBBED by this facility. Taking money from an expecting mother is one thing, but to steal from an unborn child is an allllll time low. This office should be closed. How do render services without verifying insurance?! How do you render services and then call literally 15 minutes later and say you can verify and now I am considered a self-pay patient?? This office is a JOKE read more

If I could give a negative star I would. They have very rude and unprofessional staff. I called to see if I could VET (as in interview) the OBGYNs in their practice, and they insisted I send over medical files before they would even set up a consult. As in learn all about my uterus BEFORE I decide to actually take my uterus there. It is clear they have a very entitled perspective on how they should operate with prospective patients, and the problem starts at the top with the office manager Kelly. Rather than focus on the sequence of events that led to my vitriol (admittedly I was livid), she wanted to focus on how I said I would visit the office. ONCE I AM TREATED BADLY, I WILL DEFINITELY SHOW UP TO COMPLAIN IN PERSON. I think it is important to challenge phone bullying. It is always easier to be rude over the phone, and not so much when the person is in front of you. I will visit every office of every service provider I am vetting, period. I am not from Georgia. Where I am from, if you are rude to someone, you need to prepare to answer for that rudeness. Action meet consequence: A pissed off woman 27 weeks pregnant. The receptionist was acting like she was auditioning for "worst EVER medical service, OB edition," Kerry (Carey?), also in the same office (Alpharetta), and not to be confused with KELLY, was a gem. She was an absolute sweetheart, and she was clear that I was right to be this upset. Her quote, "I am dumbfounded that you would even be told that. It is absolutely NOT our policy to ask for medical records before you even decide if you want to work with us." Roswell OBGYN doesn't deserve a Kerry. They deserve a Kelly. Unfortunately, that means all their patients have to suffer through the arrogance and entitlement of the practice...unless the are blessed to speak to Kerry (Carey?) Listen, if you want to be treated like you should bow at the holy altar of Roswell OBGYN, go to their practice. BUT if you are a stressed out, busy woman that is new to this city or new to being a mom, and needs compassionate and respectful care from the office to the delivery room, you are rolling the dice. They do not know how to handle non-routine patient set up or even go a click deeper to really hear what the patient is saying. IF I was sure that they were the practice for me, I would have absolutely sent my medical records. I have access to my records online, and can send them myself. The point was, I needed to decide. I wanted to vet if they had experience working WELL with and PROTECTING the medical rights of women of color, and what their training was like in preventing and being aware of Black maternal death (Georgia is one of the worst states in the union for this). Rather than assure me or answer me, they blocked me from even seeing a doctor to ask. This is what benevolent racism looks like: hiding behind procedural "policies" that are not applicable, sidelining and refusing services and then getting indignant when the person is finally upset and at the end of their rope. PLEASE STAY AWAY IF YOU ARE IN ANY PROTECTED CLASS AND NEED COMPASSIONATE CARE. THIS IS THE KIND OF PLACE THAT WILL SCHOOL YOU ON MANNERS WHILE YOU ARE DYING ON A DELIVERY TABLE. BEWARE of the medical services that treat you poorly when everything is supposed to be okay. These are the people that will drop the ball and blame you for it, when there is an emergency. Horrible customer service. Horrible bedside manner. Completely disrespectful of your time and finances. I had two miscarriages and called to make an appt specifically for bloodwork. When I got there, I waited over an hour to be seen. Was told I could not be seen until I made a payment, and when I was taken back, they put me in a patient room and forgot about me. Then Dr. Robbins came and found me, moved me to his office where he talked to his PA the entire time, as if I was not even in the room. Then after telling me nothing useful and completely wasting my time, they told me the lab technician had just left for the day and that they had a retirement party to go to, so they rushed me out. But I'm sure they'll bill me for the "consult." So now I have to make another appt for bloodwork. Do not go here if you're wanting to be treated decently. read more

I started going to the location on Sixes Rd almost a year ago. I would give them less stars if it were not for the pleasant staff. I had great visits every time, I only waited a slightly long time once. My issue is the billing and customer service. They don't send receipts for payment, they don't issue refunds in a timely manner, and they don't call back after they ask you to leave a voicemail for appointments and billing. They rarely answer the phone. I has to pay about a $3,000 deposit self pay when I started seeing them in my 36th week of pregnancy (same as anyone who would be seeing them from the beginning). They explained I had to pay it before Dr. Eaccarino delivers the baby. Fast forward about 3 weeks later at delivery time, the hospital said Dr. Eaccarino doesn't deliver at that hospital. I had to have a procedure after having the baby. They told me that I would not have to pay anything since they owed me money but I got billed from their office and from the facility that did my procedure, which was not Dr. Eacarrino. They owe me money and I never got a recreipt from them on what I acryakky paid for. read more

Dr. Robbins has such GREAT bedside manner!!!! He is very knowledgeable and professional. I am very pleased with the care I received here. I called first thing this AM and was able to be seen by the doctor for a UTI and for my annual exam all in one visit. I was in and out within 45min after arrival and my wait was less than 5minutes. They were able to squeeze me in as I am a patient at Roswell OB but at a different location closer to home. (This one is closest to work - Northside Hospital) Thank you to the staff, nurse and amazing Dr. Robbins for taking such great care of me! I Highly recommend!!! read more

I didn't know what to expect but after my 34 week appt. my Dr. enforced only C-section delivery and there was nothing to justify the C-section except the baby would be due on Thanksgiving and my Dr., herself was 30 weeks pregnant. I sought out a second opinion and of course the new Dr. found no detailed measurements and record from my previous Ultrasound at Cumming Roswell Obgyn that caused any alarm or reason for a definite C-section. I was beyond furious and livid at the negligence and irresponsible attitude. Then they took it to another level and Terminated their services to me due to "going against their recommendation to do a C-section". They will BULLY mommies and PEER PREASURE you! I cannot say enough positive things about this practice. I transferred here after a mediocre experience elsewhere and never looked back- I delivered my son here and after a very long labor, got to know several midwives extremely well. I fully trust their judgement and refer all my friends here. After birth, I had some complications with breastfeeding and had the most compassionate care from everyone here. They returned calls, worked me in for last minute appointments, and one midwife even gave me their cell phone number. Is the wait longer at times? Sure (around lunch) but it's never bothered me once taken back and seen. I love this group. read more

Today was seriously no fun. I was early for my appointment and was taken to the back relatively quickly. Excited that this visit might be as quick as the last, I patiently waited for the Dr to come. I waited and waited. I heard him knock on three other doors before mine. Very frustrated, I poked my head out to see what what going on. 40 minutes after I had disrobed and waited, enters the Dr. The visit was literally 5 minutes. I am done having babies so I came for my annual. She asked how I was and i told her the last 6 months I have not been healthy. She immediately said this was for PCP and not her. My exam lasted 4 mins and involved 2 things... no pap. I asked why i even needed to come. I could have done this at my PCP. It was a waste of my time and made me lose faith in the reason to even make an appointment in the future. I will be looking for a new practice. read more

I'm sorry but this was a horrible experience for me. I've been coming here and the Cumming location for around 8 years, but I plan to move. It's always disorganized checking in. I constantly forget that I will need to provide a urine sample and pee right before I come. If they could just remind you in your check in email that would alleviate so much stress. Additionally, one side of the office is a whole different practice, but there is no signage. So you either have to remember from 12 months ago which side you check in on or have them talk to you like you're stupid when you check in on the wrong side. Coming to the OBGYN is already an unpleasant experience, so you expect the people treating you to be warm, understanding, and helpful but instead I felt unimportant and disregarded. Only the woman who took my bp made me feel comfortable and at home. I spent in total between two waiting rooms and my patient care room 55 minutes waiting. 10 minutes of actually being treated. I was barely asked any questions about symptoms, sexual activity, birth control options, etc. I barely even felt seen. The doctor didn't knock on the door before coming in, which is strange. When they did finally call my name, I didn't know they meant me because they mispronounced my name while also standing behind a wall where I couldn't see them to infer they were speaking to me. You also have to pay for parking. Additionally, they didn't let me know that I needed to make my annual appt to get my birth control refilled until the DAY that it needed to be refilled. So I made an appt immediately (this was a Thursday) thinking they could refill it Friday. I did not get a refill until Monday. At that point I would be basically starting over with the pill, so this pushed me to just stop taking it and consider other methods. However, it's ludicrous that they make you wait on extremely important medication just so you come in for a 10 minute exam and pay $200. They could have refilled my medication and I would have made the appt anyways. Regardless, waiting until the very last minute to let me know and to refill it did not give me confidence in the organizational standards at this office. I usually am a patient and understanding person; however, all of this combined is just too much to look past. Additionally, while my other doctors offices consistently send me a survey post visit asking how they did, this office does not. I am writing this review not to say anyone is specifically to blame or make anyone feel bad, but in the hopes that these issues will be taken note of so that better service can be provided to future patients. I want to feel confident in my health care and I want others to feel the same. read more

The Doctors, Nurses, and NPs are AMAZING! They are gentle, relatable and explain everything thoroughly! I have been coming here for years and would recommend their GYN services! THE LADY THAT WORKS AT FRONT DESK is a whole different story! She is rude, short, snarky, and the MOST unhelpful! She relies on the online check in system and refuses to do anything even as simple as looking up your file! I go back and forth on if she needs a raise and a hug to fix her attitude or to be let go! She has been at the office since I have been coming and she NEVER smiles and has never even introduced herself! read more

Horrible. I've been here for over four years and only actually met my doctor after three years. Most appointments I wait upwards of two hours just to see a midwife to sign off on a prescription renewal. They have sent the wrong medication multiple times even though I have corrected this with them numerous times. I am switching doctors and absolutely do not recommend this company. I have never been compelled to leave a poor review at any place until this place. I'm literally a 20 year old, I try to be patient and understanding but at this point I'm over the incompetence. About 2 years ago I went to see Dr. Eaccarino (everyone calls him Dr. E) he is probably the worst doctor I have ever been too. No joke. I told him I was doing natural family planning (it worked for me and my husband for 10 years) and he had a smug attitude and told me well there must be something wrong with you bc it doesn't work. His mannerisms, his cocky-matter of fact attitude, and his lecturing me on my medication choices were ridiculous. He is very arrogant. I have doctors I absolutely love that have never acted the way he did! It's been 2 years since I've gone to an obgyn bc of the stuff he said to me. If I could give him no stars I would. Maybe work on some bedside manners Dr. E? Maybe treat your patients better? Maybe cut out the snarky comments? Never again! read more

Thus far I am really happy with my experience at Roswell OBGYN. I heard about this practice through the local ICAN organization because this practice offers VBAC's. And it is the only practice in or around Atlanta that support VBAC births that takes my insurance. Everyone is so nice, professional and friendly. From the receptionists to the nurses and to the midwives. I have yet to meet a doctor yet, but I don't think that happens much around these parts. But, that's fine with me. The nurse practitioners and the midwives are very knowledgable! This practice is also very organized. I truly appreciate that. Also, they like to email their patients results, but if the results are something to be concerned, they take the time to make a phone call. I love that Roswell is child friendly! I don't have any family near by and most of my friends are busy with their own families and businesses, so I don't have many options as for childcare. But, when I came into the office and I needed to finish filling out paperwork, the sweet receptionist asked if my son preferred Mickey Mouse or Sea Life and proceeded to give my son crayons and a coloring page. This has never happened before. It was awesome :) This practice is one of four locations that Roswell OBGYN has opened. This location is closest to the city, which is closest to me. It's about 20-25 mins away. I really do wish there was one in Midtown though. But, sometimes you need to take what you can get. Last but not least, they have their own in house ultra sounds and also take blood on site as well. I know at past medical practices, I had to run all over town to get blood tests done and ultrasounds. Woo! Big Plus!!!! Hoping that future visits are as pleasant :) read more

When my fiancée first became pregnant, we were worried. This isn't her first kid and her first experience with an OBGYN wasn't perfect, then there's all the stories about people who don't listen and act very condescending. When we first came to Roswell OBGYN's North Atlanta office, we didn't know what to expect. Now? Every child we have will be handled by this amazing group. I can't being to explain how amazingly sweet and caring the people here are. When my fiancée had to drink glucose and got super sick, her nurse Trina was so quick to help. She got her in a room so she could lie down, and also got snacks and drinks for her so she could feel better after her blood was taken. The only person who's that attentive to her is me lol, so it was really nice to see how much they really cared. Every OB we've met has been amazing and have answered every question with a smile and kind voice. We were really worried going into this, but now we're so confident that we're recommending everywhere here. Once again, big shoutout to Trina. She goes above and beyond, we've even told our moms about her she's so great. Thanks to Roswell OBGYN and the AWHG for the amazing treatment and experience we've had. It's been the best! read more

Just not impressed with doctors or front office. Couldn't date my prescription so when I needed it, I couldn't get it. Billing and insurance was a nightmare. They have one person in insurance for all of the offices! My God! Poor woman. No one called to confirm my surgery or advise me about pre-payment for surgery. So I arrived at my pre-surgical and was expected to pay $2000. Got NOTHING in the mail. What is a patient supposed to do. My mother was diagnosed with BREAST CANCER by her doctor while he was driving....he called my mom from his cell phone in his car to diagnose her with cancer. Then he told her to text him and he would recommend a surgeon. He never responded. We left a voicemail for his assistant Debbie and she never bothered to call back. We have a great GP and he recommended a surgeon and my mom is cancer free no thanks to this office. read more

Not really too sure where to start...but let's start from the top. I was referred to this practice from a coworker. The doctor I saw was very sweet and would recommend her. As for her staff and how they run their practice.. RUN. I was NOT informed when scheduling my surgery that it would be at a private office that must be paid in full up front. I was notified ONE week before that I owed almost 3,000. Who the heck has that and especially during Covid??? I ended up calling and wanting to cancel however I was told that the person who was in charge of sending me the paperwork, did not do her job correctly however there was nothing they could do about the charge for the surgical center.. but they could work with me on a ayment plan. Keep in mind this was ONE week prior to my scheduled surgery in which I've already asked off work/husband asked off etc. Surgery went well as did recovery and then of course, the bills start rolling in. I tried to save to make the full payment and have been struggling with Covid until I received a notice today 12/7 that I had to pay by 12/7 or they will turn my account over to "legal collections." Let's not even give the patient time to GET your demanding letter before you place a date on there. Not my fault it just got here... you'd think they would keep in mind that mail typically takes 4-7 days to get to you. Mind you, I had full intentions on paying and even tried on their online system TWICE (site had issues) and called to their office and was told to pay through the phone service that I did not feel comfortable with. I was willing to put this bill on a credit card in order to get them paid and deal with the rest on my end. I've been overly kind to this group and for them to send that to me without even a single phone call, prompted me to write this review to inform other hardworking families on how you will be treated. In addition, the last time I went there, they called me back and it was a completely different person which they shared info with before I told them that they had the wrong person. Overall, I am upset that I have to leave my doctor but this has pushed me over the edge. I truly hope they improve and do better for future patients. read more

Dr. Alex Eaccarino is awesome! I just moved from Texas and needed to find a good OB/GYN to stick with long term since my husband and I are planning on starting a family within a year. My annual was painless and maybe 10 minutes long (including taking out my IUD!!) He was very friendly, answered all of my questions, didn't rush, and was just fun to be around! I've NEVER had a male OBGYN and always stuck to women but I'm switching sides :) I can't wait until it's time to start having babies because I will feel confident and SAFE with Dr. E by my side! Also, the office in Sandy Springs was clean, nice, and friendly. I waited for approximately 20min. (not too bad). read more

I have tried many gyno offices and this is by far my favorite. Everyone there is so friendly and makes you feel comfortable in a not so comfortable situation. They care about their patients and remember details about your life that you would never expect them to remember with how many people they see everyday. Definitely recommend!! I only gave one star because Dr. Otto is friendly. DO NOT GO HERE. Once you arrive expect to wait no less than 30-45 minutes in the waiting room which you have to check in TWICE for (once via signing and the second via online). Because I didn't check in online before another patient (bad service in the office) I was bumped back from my 8:45 appointment and was then behind the lady who had an appointment at 9 (with the same doctor) because she checked in on her phone first. I sat and watched it happen. So finally, I'm called back, quickly shuffled into a room. By this time it is 9:35. As I sit in the room I can hear nurses and/or physicians "talking"about patients waiting, basically sharing info that another patient smelled of fish and another was now pregnant to which I hear laughs and "we're going to have a fun day." Dr. Otto does not see me until around 10:10. She apologizes for the system being slow. I quickly receive an annual exam and leave the office by 10:45. I will not be going back. read more

I've been going to this practice since I was 16. I have always loved the doctors, P.A.s and midwives. But this past year the practice has gotten out of control. The front desk is extremely slow, they lost my blood work, and it took several phone calls and more than a week to get to speak to the office manager. It used to be a practice focused on patient care, and now I feel like they could care less. read more

I give my provider Megan Wandurraga 5 stars hands down. She is amazing! I give the office as a whole 4 stars due to the fact that when you call you do not have an option to speak with a live person. You have to leave a message and someone will call you back. I just don't like the lack of personal interaction. HOWEVER that is NOT the case when in the room with Megan!!! She is so personable and intelligent. She explains things to you in a way you can fully understand and she honestly cares. I will continue to use this office as long as Megan is with them. I recommend her to anyone who is in need of a great provider! read more

Their negelect of my health concerns led to a loss of THOUSANDS of dollars out of pocket as well as a trip to the ER. It took the doctors in the ER an hour to diagnose me yet it took nearly a dozen trips to this practice to get no answers. They put me through a living hell and made all the worst decisions for my well-being. I am now suffering the consequences of not finding a real doctor sooner. I wish I could afford a lawyer. The Cumming location has banker's hours - 9 to 4:30pm and closes at 2pm Friday. Probably the same at other locations. Good luck talking to a person unless making an appointment. Got a simple question? You leave a message and the nurse will call back 2 days later. The doctors are good but their office needs to be run better and at least one day with extended hours would be nice for those of us who don't want to take a vacation day just to get a Pap smear. read more

So I've only had interactions with Dr. Hart and Ginnene, a NP at the practice (I apologize if I am spelling their names wrong). Dr. Hart was who delivered my niece and she has incredible bedside manner and is extremely competent. It was based on that experience alone that I decided to change to this OB/GYN practice. Today I met with Ginnene to discuss some concerns I had. I do have to mention that I am biased towards NPs. My mom is a NP so I really enjoy and appreciate their approach to medicine. Ginnene is no different. She is so compassionate and truly took time to listen to me. She did not rush me or pressure me. She has a balanced view of medicine and medical practices. I have never been more pleased after an OB/GYN visit than today. While I have not dealt with the majority of the staff, I still highly recommend this practice. I was referred to this practice after I switched insurance companies and my old OBGYN did not accept my new insurance at which point I was around 12 weeks pregnant. They were efficient in making sure that I got an appointment right away and the wait has never been long in the time that I have been going here. They have made sure that I have gotten to meet each and every doctor so that I am familiar and comfortable with everyone in the practice and I can say that there is not one doctor or staff member that I have met that I didn't like. Everyone in the office is very personable and very friendly. They also give you the option to choose a doctor or midwife and have both on call every day. I am extremely happy with this practice and would 100% recommend them! read more

I went in because I have cysts and while working out side I had major pain.I was pretty sure I had ruptured a cyst or two. Doctor Lee did not do anything but put me on birth control. I gave it a week but the pain got worse. I called the nurse's hotline and she asked Doctor lee what to do. I was told to go to my primary doctor because it could not be my ovaries. They never even did an ultrasound. I went to my primary Doctor and he was concerned it might be my appendix and sent me to the hospital. After 7 hours in the hospital and a CT scan I was diagnosed with a ruptured cyst. I feel like he dismissed me because I did not have insurance. I could have afforded an ultrasound but a hospital visit and a CT scan will break me! Thanks I will not be coming back! read more
