Apparently it is $450 for a simple visit now? This is clearly a result of new ownership by schweiger dermatology. I would never have accepted service for $450. I paid with a debit card. Why would you have me pay $150 up front, and then secretly bill me another $300???? Why would you let me leave, when I owed you $300? This is an embarrasment, and I will be finding a new office that doesn't have a FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLAR simple visit fee. Absolute insanity. My account is under review with the financial team, but this is INSANITY. It's like going to Mcdonalds for a happy meal, paying $8, and then you start receiving phone calls and letters telling you "haha just kidding, it's actually $400". I feel betrayed, bamboozled, befuddled, disgusted, robbed, and DECEIVED. Edit: It was a mistake on their end and they have fixed it. Pretty big mistake... Dr. P is the best. I called ahead and asked: SkinPen or Dr. Pen for micro needling? Answer: SkinPen. Asked again 5 minutes before treatment: SkinPen or Dr. Pen? Answer: SkinPen. The girl doing the treatment HERSELF said she was using SkinPen. During and immediately following treatment, I noticed it didn't feel like my previous SkinPen experience--no pain, barely any redness. That's when I asked to verify the device. She handed me the needle attachment, not the pen. When I insisted on seeing the actual device, she laid it face-down so you couldn't see the name. I turned it over to see that it was labeled Dr. Pen. When I confronted them, they offered to reduce the price to $50. I refused--I didn't ask for Dr. Pen and they lied about it twice. I told them either I walk out owing nothing or I'd make sure everyone knew they deliberately misrepresent their services. They apologized for the "misunderstanding" and said I owed nothing. This wasn't confusion or a "misunderstanding". It was a deliberate lie. I ultimately didn't have to pay for the service and was going to let this go. But CUSTOMERS NEED TO KNOW HOW THEY CONDUCT BUSINESS!!! They're liars!
