Been coming here for 2 years without insurance. Always been $150-$200 for a quick visit. I went a few months ago, paid $150 for my 20 minute visit where I received nothing but prescription refills, left, and then magically a month later I start receiving calls for an outstanding balance. Apparently it is $450 for a simple visit now? This is clearly a result of new ownership by schweiger dermatology. I would never have accepted service for $450. I paid with a debit card. Why would you have me pay $150 up front, and then secretly bill me another $300???? Why would you let me leave, when I owed you $300? This is an embarrasment, and I will be finding a new office that doesn't have a FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLAR simple visit fee. Absolute insanity. My account is under review with the financial team, but this is INSANITY. It's like going to Mcdonalds for a happy meal, paying $8, and then you start receiving phone calls and letters telling you "haha just kidding, it's actually $400". I feel betrayed, bamboozled, befuddled, disgusted, robbed, and DECEIVED. Edit: It was a mistake on their end and they have fixed it. Pretty big mistake... Dr. P is the best. While the staff is still excellent here, the entire practice has gone 100% downhill since this was formally known as Clearly Derm. Schweiger Derm. bills triple or quadruple for everything now ! and all the things that were formally covered by my insurance are not covered now. I had one mole removed and they told me it was not covered by my insurance and my bill was for over $1000! Never, never, never going back to this place! Negative 10 stars ! read more

This office is convenient to get to; it is located in one of the mini-strips on the east side of Congress Avenue between Gateway Boulevard and Boynton Beach Boulevard. Google Maps directed me 'the back way' to avoid Congress, but when leaving I stuck to the main roads. This is the Boynton Beach location of a local dermatology office. I'm not sure what their other locations are like, but they don't seem to be skimping on this one! The exam room I was in was very nice, with hardwood non-medical-ly cabinets and a sink that belongs in a spa. It was pleasant to watch TV in the exam room, not that I had to wait long. The female doctor who worked with me was pleasant, respectful and assuring. While she slowly but carefully examined my skin for a yearly skin check, in between calling out notes to her assistant, she inquired about wearing sunscreen. I appreciate that she told me that mineral is the best; I completely agree, as it is reef-friendly. She asked if I had any questions about anything or inquire about anything else. I was so grateful that she didn't push any non-medical aesthetic treatments, as (like most dermatology offices) I know they also sell anti-aging procedures and products. She encouraged me to come in anytime I noticed any changes in my skin, and she made me feel quite welcome. Thank you! The front office, while it looks upscale, is poorly designed. The seating area in the front waiting room has most of the chairs facing towards the check-in counter. Thus, as I waited, I naturally was staring into the front office staff's private work area, plus was completely privy to all of their conversation, office-related and not. If you haven't scheduled your yearly skin check yet, what are you waiting for? It's covered by health insurance and should be done once a year. read more

This is my go-to dermatologist and esthetician. Staff is thorough and friendly. I never have a problem making an appointment.

I always arrive 10 minutes before my appointment, the wait is getting longer, 20, 30 minutes, last time it took 45 minutes past my original appointment. I also had some facials done and did not like the obvious expectations for tipping. I do believe in rewarding a good service, however, it is uncomfortable when it is so obvious. I will not be coming back to this or perhaps other locations. read more

Look elsewhere, they just want your money! Knowing I have $50 co-pay and suffering with chronic eye problems they insisted I came back almost 2-3 a month to check the "progress" . ON TOP of the endless and random prescription expenses, topical and oral, let alone the actual pain I am in, 4 months pass and even though I get a good day every once in a while whatever is going on is STILL active. I eventually ask if it's an infection since no steroid cream, pill or jak-inhibitor is helping. Dr Escandon finally swabs my eyelid for infection in January. I called the office multiple times looking for test results since they said 7-10 days but wasn't able to reach them even after leaving voicemails regarding my results. Little do you know I finally get a call back from a nurse assistant 3 weeks later telling me I have an infection and will get a 30 day prescription of doxycycline that needs to be taken twice a day. She also said at that point my dr recommends allergen testing. FOUR MONTHS! Now let's do allergen testing? Now let's check for infection? Clearlyderms allergen testing requires 3-4 visits within a week. Back to that $50 co-pay I have endlessly mentioned to my health care provider I could barely afford, you would think she may have recommended that to begin with instead of letting me come in 3 times a month for 4 months, by the end of that I could've afforded the testing! The doxycycline made me sick. I threw up almost everyday from it until I finished the bottle. I was never instructed a certain way to take the medication. It felt like my dr was backtracking because she realized I had an infection the entire time she was "treating" me. The malpractice that I experienced at Clearlyderm is INSANE. The lack of individualized care is disturbing, I was just basically thrown any cream or pill to get me out of the office only so that they can have me come BACK to the office to see if anything is working...which it wasn't. I now go to Watersedge Dermatology, they are friendly, my dr knows my name, health conditions and understands my financial situation. Seems like the bare minimum but you won't find that here! read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I was a patient here for over a year. I made an appointment 2 weeks ago. My appt, was today. They called me 50 minutes before my appointment and told me they do not take my insurance and I had to pay them for my visit in full. According to my insurance co they still do take my insurance. So, this facility lied to me. It was an important appt. for me. I was heading there when the lady called. To me this shows they are horrible and do not care. To lie to a patient and cancel her appt 50 minutes before when they had 2 weeks to call if they did not want me as a patient anymore RUDE!!!! read more

I called this morning desperately looking for a same day appointment. Whoever I spoke to was amazing and really showed how a patient should be taken care of. She got me in for a few hours later and I saw the P.A. Jamie. She was so nice and knew right away when she looked at me what the issue was. A prescription topical and some over the counter remedies should do the trick! I'm so glad I went with this facility instead of somewhere else. The Assistant was sick, on the phone with her own doctor tryIng to make an appointment while I sat there waiting. As a brand new patient I was told to be there at 11:00am. I filled out 2-3 minutes of paperwork and gave it back to the receptionist. I wasn't seen until 11:30. An assistant takes me to a room and I ask if they are usually 30 minutes behind schedule. She said as a new patient, yes, because of the paperwork. I gladly would have came in 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork if they had asked. She then starts asking out the treatments I've done for my acne. As I'm telling her, she's talking over me. Then, a voice from the speakerphone in her pocket asks if she's still there. At first I thought it was something office related. Then, I quickly realized it's not office related at all, she is on the phone with her own doctor trying to make an appointment. She tells me "sorry hold on" after I've already waited in the waiting room for 30 minutes. The person on the speaker phone asks her what her symptoms are, and she responds "achey body, cough, etc". SO NOT ONLY IS SHE TAKING AWAY TIME THAT I (might) HAVE PAID FOR, SHE IS TREATING ME WHILE SHE IS SICK DURING FLU SEASON. I stood up and said "this is so unprofessional, I am leaving" She responded "you're right, it is unprofessional" while still on the phone with her doctor. That woman is sick in more ways than one. I saw the dermatologist for a skin irritation on my neck and my arm, she put me on a cortisone ointment and my irritation is still present, I called their office, and they want me to come in again, but they want to charge me my co-pay again. I will never go back to them. I feel like they're all about the money and not caring about their patients. I would never recommend them. read more

I am always skeptical when an establishment has several locations, but I love this office. Before coming here, I had never been to a dermatologist for myself. Living in Florida, and getting older, I had a few spots that I wanted checked out. Dr. Laskey is great! The office is very clean, pleasant staff, and appointments seem to run on schedule. I had to give it some time before writing this review to look at it subjectively. My husband took our three year old to the Boynton Beach office location to have a some white spots looked at on her leg. My husband called me as the doctor examined her and the doctor immediately diagnosed her condition by sight and said a biopsy wasn't needed and that there was no treatment/cure available. Wanting the best care for my daughter, and wanting to be sure that the lesions were benign and also not wanting her to experience the disfigurement she is (if we could help it), I insisted on a biopsy so that we could be sure the visual diagnoses was correct, noting that in addition my daughter has significant development delays. To say that the doctor was angered by this was an understatement. She first mom shamed me about subjecting my daughter to the procedure, but I maintained that is what I wanted. She gave my husband back the phone and started a speech on how she "was not happy" and she would "never subject her child to this procedure" but now they "have to do it" since I insisted. My husband understandably was extremely uncomfortable at the office at this time. I was really upset by this as I felt like she had no right to this behavior. The appointment was not for, or about her, and I don't feel it was her place to shame us because our idea of best care for our daughter was different from what she wanted to do. Nonetheless we got the results back and although it was thankfully nothing major, it was not the visual diagnoses which was given to us and treatment was prescribed. I must say rest of staff were very friendly and helpful - hence the two stars. read more

I came to this office and saw Dr. Lewis. I think this office is wonderful. The staff is very friendly. The office is very modern and clean. They made it easy to schedule an appointment. Everything was efficient. This was my first visit here. I did not have to sit in the lobby a for a long time. Dr. Lewis was very nice and made me feel very comfortable. She was very thorough when doing the check up which I appreciate since I am fair skinned and prone to having to have moles removed. I would definitely recommend coming here. I have been to my fair share of dermatology offices, and after recently moving here I needed to find another dermatologist. I did my extensive research and landed upon ClearlyDerm. I arrived to my appointment 10 minutes ahead of time since I was a first time customer and figured I would need to fill out some paperwork. I ended up sitting in the waiting room for almost 35 minutes which I thought was a little ridiculous, especially because I came early. After I left the waiting room I had a great experience with the doctor and the nurse/assistant. I went in for my acne and they created a full intensive skin regimen that was very interesting to me. The doctor answered all my questions and although they looked busy my appointment didn't feel rushed. I will be back, but hoping I won't have to wait as long... read more

She was professional, through, informative, explained why she was suggesting a specific treatment plan. Was concerned about cost of prescriptions; found alternatives for the costly ones. Didn't try to sell unnecessary skin care products like others do. Her nurse Anie was lovely, friendly, knowledgeable and made me feel at ease.
