I was confident that the referral had already been sent, especially considering that this appointment had been scheduled for more than a month. I immediately tried calling my doctor's office to clarify the situation. Instead of showing any patience or making an effort to help verify the referral or confirm the appointment, the receptionist came back to the window asking what I was going to do because otherwise I would have to reschedule. What bothered me the most was her attitude and complete lack of empathy or willingness to help. I had arrived on time for an appointment that had been scheduled well in advance, and she could not even make an effort to contact someone or help clarify the situation before telling me I would need to reschedule. The way she communicated with me came across as rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Front desk staff are the first impression patients have of a medical office, and basic courtesy and willingness to assist should be expected. If someone is unhappy dealing with patients or unwilling to provide basic customer service, perhaps a front desk position is not the right role for them. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning to this office.

The receptionists were really nice and got me checked in quickly. However, the massage was very distracting because you could literally hear the receptionists and other employees talking in the foyer and walking in and out of doors during the massage session. It was also freezing cold in the massage room. My masseuse noticed this halfway through the massage and only then told me that there are table warmers which I was very happy to receive. Since most massages require less clothes, a more comfortable temperature for clients in massage rooms is probably a better route. Other than those two issues, I enjoyed my first experience here!

Fount out that the person who reply to my text was the same person who was at the front desk. All she can say is I don't know what happened or who would have cancelled your appointment that was switched. She had a careless attitude.
