I was brought to an office and Lucy told me her name and told me she was a nurse. Since I have had cancer I was not allowed to use the HCG injections as it could awaken cancer cells. I thought, why would anyone want to take this drug that has not been approved by the FDA. I was never asked about my goals, my eating habits, my past diets, not one question about me. She showed me a tiny diet book and then told me about all their supplements. There was one that would tighten my skin after weight loss!! Serious? There was no talk of support. I walked out feeling I was at a circus watching the snake oil salesman. I've never been to jail but I've seen tv shows. I felt I was at an intake for a jail. I called after the first visit and left a voicemail for a call back, that was now two weeks ago. I got no call back. Today when I arrived the red head at the front desk said good morning and asked for my id and Insurance card. When I asked her again? She said they don't have a copy I proceeded to give it to her and said they took this last time as well. She had this look or being annoyed at me saying that. So then proceeded to say I called two weeks ago about a diagnosis I saw on my chart and no one called me back. She don't answer me or offer to review it or discuss it when I will be called to the back. She gave me my cards back and I had the payment card ready on the counter so when she asked for it I said it's right there sheade a sound and grabbed it. Then I was prepared and took the pen I used to sign in she asked me to Sign the receipt and handed me a pen but I had already had one in hand and signed it she put her pen back with an attitude now. I gave her the receipt and she just sat there typing and looking at her screen. I had to ask if we were done for now , again not looking at me she said yes. Employees need to realize they are working at a Dictors office and do not know what the patients coming in are feeling. Empathy and compassion go a looong way.
