1 Star - Deceptive marketing and awful experience I had a terrible experience at Bloom Aesthetics in Dr. Phillips and would strongly advise others to stay away. You cannot even make an appointment without paying a fee, which already felt questionable--but I paid it anyway. I then drove over an hour in traffic because their marketing clearly advertises Botox. That turned out to be deceptive and misleading. Once I arrived, I was told they do not actually use Botox, but instead inject a knockoff product. Not only that, they over-injected me, using double the amount I normally receive, and charged me twice as much. The result? My eye started twitching, my eyelid drooped, and my entire brow has fallen. I look awful. I drove another hour back two weeks later because they said they could "fix" it. When I arrived, they suddenly changed their story and told me there was nothing they could do and that I just had to wait for it to wear off--which could take 3 to 6 months. Completely unacceptable. I asked for a refund and was flat-out refused. Because of the deceptive marketing and refusal to take responsibility, I've filed a complaint with the Attorney General for deceptive marketing practices and also disputed the charges with American Express. I genuinely regret ever coming here. Do not go here. read more

Before I made it back to Bloom, I had to try another clinic which insisted they used Dysport, but actually gave me another Tox that my system clears in 6 weeks. UPDATED 6/4!!! Not my first time, and was very excited to get my Botox again. A nurse practitioner is who attended to me, and went over all options. She was very kind and had lots of great knowledge. After speaking with her, I trusted her insight, and opted to switch from the brand "Botox" to Jeauveau, which also proved to be more affordable. I must say, happy to say how effective it has been -freezing my treated area completely by beginning of day 4. I'm happy! I also opted for the vitamins IV special. Being new to this, I asked lots of questions! Happy to report that I felt the process was very clean, sanitized and fresh. The B12 mix for the IV was not available, however was still available as injectable, which was given to my arm. The gluthamine mix and the Vitamin C add on, was injected into the IV bag in my presence, which was nice to know these bags were not pre-mixed. (Otherwise, the Max potency and effectiveness is lost) Here's where I felt I needed to drop a star. When prepping my arm to start the IV, I was given a stress ball to squeeze that was just sitting on a tray that looked like it had quite a bit of mileage. After my IV was inserted, stress ball was placed right back on the tray, ready for the next victim - no wiping or sanitizing - nothing. So for the rest of my drip, I was staring at dirty "mini Wilson" on the tray the whole time! With all the precautions suggested during this COVID 19 pandemic, that was quite a surprise. It all happened so fast, I didn't get the chance to react. Btw, this IV procedure takes about 30 minutes for the bag to empty. I felt refreshed and renewed for days, and my complexion thanks me! I would do again! (With my own mini Wilson) This location is a small house converted into the doctor's office (Registered and managed by a surgeon), and is very modern on the inside. Very welcoming and bright furnishings. The IV room is separate from other treatment rooms, and enjoys Sonos music, dimmed lighting and comfortable white recliners. I highly recommend this location. Brought my mom and girlfriend here, paid a whole lot of money for them to get botox. Went after 4 weeks to get a touch up wasnt happy with crossfit results. Nurse practitioner cussed at us, said we are verbally abusing her, wouldnt let us speak to the owner unless it was outside of the practice. She literally had a meltdown because we said she had a negative attitude and wasnt very positive coming in to greet us at all. When i asked her why she was giving us an attitude, she said i said hi you didnt hear that? Extremely rude. She said its not free which was communicated over text from the boss himself that it is. Had she apologized and been nice she wouldnt have cost your practice 3 clients! read more

I got a ridiculously good deal on a Groupon here for 2ml of Restylane and used it 6 months ago. I didn't think it would be fair to do a review on my experience, because that was the first time I'd ever experienced getting fillers. I just went to a new place in Altamonte for the exact same procedure and had a completely different experience, which I found to give me a bigger perspective on how bad Buena Vista was. Pros 1. You pay 1/2 as much as anywhere else 2. You get decent LOOKING results in the end Cons First of all, you know a place is sketchy when you call for an appointment and they tell you to not buy the Groupon and they will honor the price. How dishonest is that??? Groupon got you your customer and now you're not giving them their percentage due. 1. With the technique used, they literally inject little bead sized amounts in your desired location. There is NO technique. 2. BRUISING. At my new place, I experienced one tiny barely noticeable bruise. At Buena Vista, I had multiple bruises all over. 3. At my new place, I mentioned that they had me massage the area afterwards when I went to Buena Vista and the PA told me that you are not supposed to do that. All of the necessary massaging should happen in the doctors office if the proper technique is used. 4. After 6 months, I am left with the feeling of little balls under the location that my new place had to work around because the restylane did not disperse evenly. 5. The first time I went, I was in a patient room on a reclining medical chair, all good..When I went back 2 weeks later for my touch up, they placed me in a random room and I just remmeber the back of my head leaning up against a framed picture on the wall for the touch up procedure. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL AND MESSY. It felt SO gross. Plainly, I would never recommend Buena Vista. But if you're willing to skimp on the aforementioned and just want something sloppy and cheap then go for the Groupon. read more

I came to this place for Botox. I usually do 35 units but I saw a Groupon of 40! Units so I decided to purchase it. Before purchasing I called for an appointment and they told me not to buy the Groupon and they will honor the price. 2 weeks after the injections and no change. I must tell that I do Botox every 4-5 months for more than 5 years and see significant results after few days!! But here nothing!! No change at all!! Even not a minor change!! I went there to show the nurse partitioner the results and she tried to convince me that there is a minor change. Usually there is a huge change when I go somewhere else so i'm not sure if they are injecting Botox or not injecting the quantity they claim! Bottom line... don't waste your time and your money! ****Response**** Interesting enough, only your "medication" is not working or not affecting on me while in any other place it's working fine. My friend and I visited Lake Buena Vista Aesthetics for the first time, a little over a month ago. We share our experience in hopes that no other person receives such mistreatment. During our micro-needling treatment we did not feel any pain however, prior to leaving our appointment we began to feel a sunburning sensation. We both left our facial appointment with our faces bloody red, crisp dry and full of bruises that lasted us both more than a week! After 2 weeks I called on behalf my friend and I because we were genuinely worried of the damage that we saw as the result. We were asked to physically go back for a check-up just to be told by Marisol "neither of you can handle an aggressive treatment because you get scared of what you see in the process" which frankly is not an answer as a concerned customer. Marisol asked us to continue to wait and return for a different facial but we did not simply because she showed no empathy nor sympathy. To think that we trusted our skin with so-called experts but we came to find that no vitamin was applied to our faces whatsoever. The product that was applied to us was simply to reduce the redness from how bright red we both looked but in reality the product contained nothing to help, heal nor replenish our skin. My intention is simply to express our experience because nothing was done in compensation to our disconcerting experience. read more

My only complaint was that the wait was kind of long and I was there for about an hour just for Botox, and there was no one else in the waiting room the whole time I was there. Run as fast as you can. Myself and some friends decided to compare the "outcome" from various botox sites. We each had photos taken of ourselves from every angle with various light sources. Then spent the past year going to 4 different botox providers with injections every 3 months. Each provider told us how many units we needed to reduce horizontal forehead lines and crows feet around eyes. Provider # 1 said I needed 36 units and significant results were seen within 24 hours (and it kept improving). 3 months later I visited Provider #2 (lake Buena Vista ). They said I needed 62 units! Injections were in roughly the same positions of face (I marked a map). 1 week later and little change noted in wrinkles but I did get a horrible droop in eyelids. 3 months later I went to Provider #3. They said I'd need 34 units. Within 48 hours I saw significant results. No droop in eyelids. 3 months later I saw Provider #4. They said I needed just 38 units. Within 48 hours saw considerable results. Bottom line...Lake Buena Vista is not only Very likely over-diluting their botox (or not injecting the qty they claim) but also told me I needed to pay for 50% more units and ended up looking worse than when I walked thru their doors. And their practitioner had all of 3 months experience! Run..don't walk away from this place. read more

I accompanied my Mother to this spa to get Botox done for her Birthday. We spent a total of $600.00 . On completion of the service which went well, I asked to use the restroom. I'm visibly 7 months pregnant. I opened the faucet and got completely drenched so did the floor. My mother mentioned that the same had happened to her earlier . I went to the person at the front desk and reported what had happened and she said nothing. I stood there waiting for the person to simply say something apologetic. Nothing was said . I then asked if she thought an apology would be appropriate she replied with an expressionless face. I left the building and before I got to my car I turned around to ask for her name. I said to her that I was very upset about how that situation was handled and that an apology would have been enough. She said it wasn't her fault ... I'm still waiting for an apology. What was worst was that the nurse that did the Botox and the manager had me walk out as witnesses to this dispute and never said a word. I called about a Groupon for botox, the receptionist told me since I had been there 3 years ago, u could not use the Groupon price, however, she offered me their special, 40 units of the botox generic brand for $340, I agreed and made an appointment, her message about the special offer, units and price, was recorded on my voice mail. I drove an hour and 15 minutes to the salon, and when I got their, the injectioner told me she had no idea what u was talking about with such a special, I played her the voice message on my phone, from her receptionist with the heavy Spanish accent, she admitted that was their receptionist, then continued to say she had no idea why I was given that price for 40 units! Her ridiculous denial of what the receptionist clearly offered me went on for 15 minutes until I told her forget it! I will take my money elsewhere! I received my visit PRP on 8/22 the procedure was pain free little to no bruising the swelling lasted for a few hours my face was back to normal the next day I am excited to see the final result which can take 3 weeks. I was told or Botox was $9.99 a unit and I told them thank you very much but I would pass and when Theresa asked why I told her I received Botox in Dr. Phillips for $7 a unit she ended up calling me back and leaving me a voicemail stating that she had pulled the doctor aside and he okayed Botox at $5.99 a unit. When I called back to schedule an appointment I was then told that was the pricing they could give me that day but they could no longer do it and it would now be $7.99.
