Just got Jeaveau injections for the first time here. I have previously had Botox injections in Beverly Hills, California, 90210, but I just moved here and needed to find a new provider in Orlando. I found them on Groupon. They did a wonderful job! They were very friendly, quick and painless. I did request for and receive numbing cream since I'm a total chicken when it comes to needles. I am writing this 10 months after my appointment. I am very disappointed of this place. I believe they took advantage and gave me 40 units and I didn't need that many. It was just on my forehead. The top of my eye brows were swollen for about 5 month, not from sensitivity but from feeling like I had liquid (I imagine it was the botox) resting in there. I was not even 50yo and I know now I didn't need that many units. read more

This medspa is a hidden gem centrally located in near Disney and all resort areas. Dr Syed is board certified in all types of cosmetic procedures and all his certificates are posted in the relaxing medspa waiting area. Before my treatment of Botox he showed me the product as well as the amounts he would be using which is a plus to patients. Afterwards he shows you what he did and spends as much time needed to answer any questions. I had previous had only 5 star experiences last fall. But went the week of May 18th and was incredibly disappointed. First of all, there are no questions about your health asked or temperature checks. They don't require people to wear masks even though it's a relatively small waiting room. What's worse? At least 1/3 of their staff wasn't wearing masks, including the person checking me in and taking my credit card. What this says to me as a customer is "I'm seeing lots of people every day, and I don't give a darn about getting you sick." It's incredibly disrespectful. And of course it's incredibly unsafe. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I never considered asking about their procedures given it's run by a doctor. I felt safer in Whole Foods than there. And I would have shared this directly with Dr. J that day, only on this visit, he never stopped in. The entire visit was also a whole lot less customer focused. Not what I expected from them, and certainly not what I expect from someone I pay this much money for services. It is highly unlikely I'll go back. They just lost a loyal customer. read more

I no longer recommend to anyone! After my last 2 visits I felt the need to update my review. Starting with my visit before last. I arrived 15mins prior to my scheduled time. They walked me back to the medspa waiting room in back as usual. However this visit the room was full and 2 women were standing. I noticed that one women had a severely dropped eye. When she was called back another women said she was fearful to let the doctor do her Botox after seeing that. I like the others still waited. It was 45 mins before I was called. The doctor was rushing each patient in and out so quickly like an assembly like. I didn't get my filler this day only Botox being that the rushed timeframe scared me. The Botox was so painful I couldn't stand it. I have had Botox for 6 years now and never had pain. The bruising was also quite severe. A few months later I received a message with a Mother's Day special so I called Teresa. I asked her if I could please have the previous experience that I had had being that the last was so unpleasant. I really didn't want to have to go somewhere new. She assured me that he was just over booked that day and I scheduled my appointment. Now onto my last appointment. This appointment was also very rushed they literally walked me in and this time within mins started putting the needle in my four head. I had never experienced a situation like this and it was so unnerving. Again the pain with the Botox was so unbearable and once again I had bruising. One place on my four head would not stop bleeding which is not normal either. I asked the doctor during the procedure to please slow down some that the needle was hurting and then I felt like he was putting it in too far. Teresa told me that there were other people waiting and that the doctor has the best prices in town. I will never go back here regardless of how good the prices are. It's not worth it! read more

This place I as a joke. Th woman assistant is totally loud with no manners. The first time I've been in this office the doctor had injected my left eye vein luckily it.did not give a big bruise. I came again for the 2nd time for groupon. Again the loud assistant met and can't even remember my appointment and my previous file. When I met the doctor I have mentioned that he had injected my vein the last time he gave me botox and ask him to please be careful. He then performed my injection. On the way home I've noticed a spot dark bruise the area where he shot the botox . I knew he shot my vein. So disgusted . My vein is very visible for him not to see. How would you trust a doctor if he can't even perfect a proper injection. I would not trust this office! read more

I went to this location for a free skincare consultation. It was my first time there and I was not impressed. The medical assistant came to the waiting room and asked me out loud in front of another male also in the waiting room "are you here for Botox?" I was not only embarrassed but in complete shock that she would do such a thing in a Doctor's waiting room. It did not get any better as she started to walk away and told me to follow her without addressing me in a proper and professional manner. Once we got to the patient examination room, I addressed my concerns with her and told her how dissatisfied I was with her, she brushed me off as if it wasn't a big deal. I wish I could give them ZERO STARS! Laser Hair Removal Customers Please BEWARE. Stay Away from this place at Sand Lake Commons off Turkey Lake Road-- especially for Laser Hair Removal! Eventually you will get Burned, Disrespected and Waste LOTS of time. These people are NOT professional and operate like Hacks based on personal experience. My overall experience with Dr J and New U Medspa has been horrible in so many ways. I have come here for about a year because of the convenience and what initially appeared to be LOTS of availability and the slightly cheaper pricing due to lack of other nearby places when COVID was rampant and since I was new to areas ...BUT it is so true that you get what you pay for and there is good reason why they were running business when everyone else was closed, booked or had more limited hours--quality and service is terrible ot at best very inconsistent, sloppy and very poor management of appointments times ALL OF of the TIME. See details BELOW and horrible burn pix --if I'm able to attach. First off they claim to have deals every month but based on my experience here - they only get new clients by keeping the same lame 20% off Laser Hair removal and some other services all year round to bait and switch you into more expensive treatments over longer time periods. 1- Errors due to Staff /Techs that change so frequently- I think because they see what's going on and don't want to be part of it or don't want to deal with angry customers anymore- They're the front line since when trouble hits the "Dr."/Owner DISAPPEARS! The consultants switch up often (high turn-around rates with workers!)and are not consistent with how they do your laser and with the settings and areas they did the prior visit. First visits (where I had huge skin reaction-hives and swelling-minor burns they said it was normal - I believed them), I got the same tech who appeared to take pix, make notes and even though the appointments were LATE, it seemed OK- until about the 3rd or 4th visit in. As a customer, I had to constantly remind them to take pix and of the areas I was doing - even AFTER I confirmed those areas when I booked the appointment & they allegedly blocked the appropriate amount of time. After half hour of confusion to get areas right and pricing and how they now have you for less areas n booked you for less time you have to first try to get your time back before the service even starts! Each visit was stressful and anxiety ridden to keep your slot! I kept convincing myself if wd get better and kept going back BIG Mistake- please listen to your instincts. 2-They get you in and then OVERBOOK appointments and leave people waiting many times AN HOUR past their appointment time then it trickles down to the last appointment so everyone is screwed. YOU WAIT at reception and In the room Alone a LONG time. 3-Always confusion about your laser areas AND pricing-No matter how clear you are on phone when booking. 4-BAD BURNS and reactions all over my LEGS AND NECK After hair laser treatment. Then NO accountability or customer service for the harm done and "Dr" makes himself scarce.I told the tech numerous times "it hurts" and "It feels different and really stinging" She kept insisting it was the same settings as before and perhaps Im just being extra sensitive and she kept harping fon me to stop moving but I was WINCING from being in pain- after she would zap me- NOT during or before . I'm used to the laser at this point as I always am except to have normal Human reactions to wince if I feel pain.The following day Both my legs were in unusual pain and swollen and red. Within the next 2 days i saw the streaks of burns up and down BOTH legs/neck! I looked as if Id been whipped or in an accident. The burns went from red to Blue and purple and then started scabbing and were semi RAW. Dr J and his New U medSpa are vile. Their rationale for not taking me seriously was that "these are just basic burns that will go away in a month or so." Even IF that were true it's such a bizarre thing to say out loud to a customer who has bad urns both visually and emotionally after this experience...plus pain. Here I am 3.5 mos later and I still have some scarring, and thanks for the amazing warm temp during Winter upon advice of my derma, I have to stay far from the sun- this means in 86deg temp during the holidays, I was the only on e wearing a hat/this scarf, and pants!! Slathering sunscreen every 3 hours and have much stress and having people ask me Qs that I have to answer! Embarrassing to say the least. These people tried to poorly bribe me - after 45 minutes back n forth- a refund ONLY for that service IF i would sign some joke of a paper saying I would NEVER post a negative comment about my experience...laughable and they were so rude . Please Stay away from them. It is NOT worth the time, energy pain and suffering. Pay the extra $ per session and wait for availability at a reputable establishment. read more

Where do I even begin!!!!! This place! This staff! Doctor Syed! They turned my Mother's Day weekend from bad to awesome! My day started our horrible due to a bad experience I had at another spa ( SpaBlue. DO NOT GO THERE EVER! ) that ruined my mother's day plan for me and my mom. I had to quickly find another spot to go to or forfeit the entire day! A true waste of time because I don't even live in Orlando ( live in Jax and I would drive 10hrs to go to New U if I had to!)I called New U medical Spa because of the endless numbers of good reviews EVERYWHERE! I spoke to Jess, whom is great and very easy to talk to, and explained what I was looking for. I told her I don't live in Orlando but I want to get a couple of things done for me and my mom. I knew it was along shot but I tried anyway. To my surprise They accepted my walk in appointment for both my mom and I! Even with squeezing us in they still gave us their undivided attention and did not half ass the procedure or consultation! They treat you like family or as if you have been a loyal client for years! They are passionate about their work and take the time to educate you and answer all of your questions( and believe me I had a ton!) Dr. Syed is super knowledgeable, caring, and down to earth( fun to talk to unlike some other doctors that are too nerdy for their own good lol)! He will pop in and explain something if he hears you from the other room ask a question lol! You can tell he actually LOVES what he does and isn't about the money! He knows what he's doing too! He fixed my lips that the other spa messed up on and didn't even charge me for dissolving a lil bit of the other spas work. He did EXACTLY what I asked him. I was so nervous and scared because I never heard of him before nor did I have time to do my thorough investigation like I normally do when looking for things, places or people lol. The ladies are so sweet, very knowledgeable and take their time doing the work too. They know just as much as the doctor because he takes the time to train them himself ! I highly highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for any aesthetic procedure ( they pretty much do it all!) I got the fusion lift microneedling facial with Juvederm lip filler and I couldn't be more happy with the results!!! I went today for my appointment, the GPS took me to a walmart parking lot so I immediately called them and had a spanish woman proceed to call me mami and tell me to look for the gift shop and the food place and they are between there. I figured okay this place is rather hood but as long as they are a sterile environment that is all I care about. When I walked in on the tv there was a Jerry Springer type show called the Robert Irvine show playing and she was taking a lie detector test though she did confirm to sleeping with her boo's cousin at a sex party... So the lady I just spoken to on the phone gave me paperwork that I filled out. When I went back up to return it, I placed it on the counter and asked if she wanted my license which is standard at any medical office. She said no but didnt take the clipboard so I just sat back down and she got up and took it about 5 minutes later. When I was called the doctor was standing in the hallway talking to a patient in a room on the right and then the receptionist took me to a room on the left who already had a woman in it so she pointed me to the first room on the left which was clearly a storage room. The patient bed had no sterile paper covering it and instead was covered with a bed sheet and someone elses hair on it. The doctor came in and took a giant shipping box that was on the bed out of the room and proceeded to tell me to turn on the light and go in. The counters were covered with storage items, boxes, etc. There was a used notepad on the corner of the table so I set my wallet next to that. Besides that space there was no room because it "isn't used for patients much" as the doctor told me. The entire time they were so loud talking to patients from the hallways, the receptionist was talking to a patient in spanish and then telling the doctor in english but there is no way they were in the same room. When the woman next to me took too long to pull up her groupon for her botox he left her and came into my room and mentioned that she was taking too long. He came into the room with the bottle of botox without a top on it and had a rubber cap on his hand that he set down on the used notepad. He then took photos of my face and had me sign then and then took the cap off the needle and filled it up with Botox. Then someone needed him in the hallway so he stood in the doorway and pointed the needle to the side while talking to someone, then he came back and said he would be right back. He took the botox bottle, the top, along with the open needle with him and then came back with the open needle. Then the receptionist came back in to talk to him and he put the needle down on the notebook while she slid between me and the small counter space where the needle as to get something. She couldnt of had her butt more than 3 inches from the needle that was now sitting on top of a notebook. When she moved the doctor used an alcohol pad between my eyes and proceeded to start trying to inject me but that is when I stopped him. I explained I have had this done 4 other times in sterile environments and he didnt even have a clean tray to put the needle down. I explained how he came in with an open bottle of botox, I never saw him sterilize anything. And I mentioned how they never even took my ID, I just turned 30 but I would think that is still standard practice. He proceeded to point the needle at me and at this point was speaking quickly trying to defend his actions but eventually said I could just call Groupon back to get a refund. This whole experience was just immensely unprofessional and unsanitary and I cannot believe a place like this is allowed to practice. read more
