I would give zero stars if that were an option. This has been, without question, the worst experience I've ever had at a med spa. I went in for my 8th laser hair removal session, expecting the same level of care I had previously received. Instead, I walked into a completely different business name--"You Just Better," formerly Ideal Image--with no prior notification. I initially thought the appointment reminder was spam because of the name change. During my treatment, two technicians worked on my legs, which is typical. However, the experience felt completely off. One technician appeared disengaged and not present, while the other, Virginia (whom I had never seen before), seemed to rush through the procedure. There was a noticeable lack of attention to detail--they missed multiple areas, and it did not feel like proper care was taken with the laser or its settings. Immediately after the session, I developed severe welts across my legs. While some irritation can be normal, this was far beyond anything I had experienced before. The pain was intense--burning to the point where I couldn't even touch my skin. I asked for additional aloe, but it provided little relief. I had a facial scheduled right after and had to ask the esthetician for help because of how severe the reaction was. Later, I realized I had sustained significant laser burns, particularly on the back of my legs. When I contacted the facility and spoke with Virginia, I sent photos as requested. Her only response was to use Aquaphor and that I would be "fine." When I asked for details about the laser settings used during my session, I was told she couldn't provide that information and would need to check with her supervisor. I never received any follow-up. Since then, I have made multiple attempts--calls and emails--to get a response, request my medical records, and document what happened. I have been completely ignored. My requests for my records have gone unanswered, and I've asked to cancel all future appointments and receive a refund, as I no longer feel safe continuing services with this business. The lack of accountability, communication, and basic patient care is unacceptable. Instead of addressing a serious issue, they have chosen to ignore it--likely hoping I will go away. Unfortunately, I am now left dealing with physical scars as a result of their negligence. I strongly urge anyone considering this business to look elsewhere. Choose a provider that prioritizes safety, communication, and professionalism--this one does not. read more

Update: I have emailed them and I'm incredibly disappointed and frustrated with Ideal Image's continued lack of communication and accountability. I've spent a significant amount of time gathering detailed evidence for my case--something I shouldn't have to do to this extent just to be taken seriously. Despite my efforts and the numerous times I've reached out, I continue to receive empty promises that someone will "look into it." Weeks and months go by, and nothing ever happens. So far, my emails have not been answered and the information that I have acquired, has been because I have called or showed up at the office in person. This isn't just an inconvenience; it's a loss--both in time and in money. I've invested a considerable amount of money into services I didn't receive and were mishandled due to their poor business practices. For a company that markets itself as professional and customer-focused, the lack of follow-through and basic communication is unacceptable. I expected far more, and I deserve far better. read more

I've been coming here for awhile. But, some things that have been upsetting me (a patron for over four years) 1. I am still coming back for touch ups since my hair is growing back (currently on at least my fourth touch up) despite already completing my initial treatment plan. 2. Going to get a consultation at ideal image kind of felt like I was at a used car dealership getting ripped off. They won't give you prices to take home because prices are subject to change and they want you to buy same say. I've had laser hair removal multiple times before and a 45 minute consultation and a loan is NOT necessary for laser hair removal. Do your research and find somewhere better than this used car dealership place there prices are absurd. Terrible customer service. Always trying to make an appointment, there are limited times available. Went for my complimentary appointment today after receiving 9, only to be turned away without completing service because it looked like i was in the sun. I know the policy and i know the risk, but skin has been the same color since i started my treatments and have had no problems. An hour out of my day only to be wasted and turned away without even the supervisor looking at me. Treatments are a significant amount of money and to only get an "I'm sorry, come back when you aren't tan" is not sitting well. While i know "touch ups" will be necessary, but that is all i will do - there was consideration of other areas but after a couple complaints within my 9 treatments - with still some black hairs showing, I'm very disappointed and do not recommend going to this place - it's a lot of money with no care for the customers. read more

I have never had an issue making an appointment or rescheduling. Ashley at the front desk has been very helpful in making my appts and helping me refill my numbing RX -- thank you! Laser treatment is very comfortable, they have options for topical numbing creme (RX picked up at specialty pharmacy) and use of ice packs during treatment. They also always have deals going, so if you want to be completely hair less from the head (scalp) down: they have options for you!
