The waxer was not very friendly and didn't make the experience comfortable, especially after I mentioned it had been several years since my last Brazilian. At times the wax also felt very hot, which made the experience more uncomfortable. On top of that, the wax was not done thoroughly and I still have several spots with hair remaining. Because of that, I left disappointed with the quality of the service.

1 Star - Deceptive marketing and awful experience…read more I had a terrible experience at Bloom Aesthetics in Dr. Phillips and would strongly advise others to stay away. You cannot even make an appointment without paying a fee, which already felt questionable--but I paid it anyway. I then drove over an hour in traffic because their marketing clearly advertises Botox. That turned out to be deceptive and misleading. Once I arrived, I was told they do not actually use Botox, but instead inject a knockoff product. Not only that, they over-injected me, using double the amount I normally receive, and charged me twice as much. The result? My eye started twitching, my eyelid drooped, and my entire brow has fallen. I look awful. I drove another hour back two weeks later because they said they could "fix" it. When I arrived, they suddenly changed their story and told me there was nothing they could do and that I just had to wait for it to wear off--which could take 3 to 6 months. Completely unacceptable. I asked for a refund and was flat-out refused. Because of the deceptive marketing and refusal to take responsibility, I've filed a complaint with the Attorney General for deceptive marketing practices and also disputed the charges with American Express. I genuinely regret ever coming here. Do not go here.

I've been to Anny M Beauty twice over the past year: once for a brow wax and to try the head spa,…read moreand the second to try a lymphatic massage. I know they specialize in microneedling and lash services as well, but I can't speak to those. However, the services I have had were exceptional. The owner is very knowledgeable and helps answer questions, as well as interprets for the mostly Portuguese-speaking staff. The facilities are clean and relaxing, but my only complaint is that the massage table used did not have a cutout for the face. So, when I was face-down for that portion of the massage, I had to turn my head to the side the entire time which put some strain on my neck. The head spa table was also not balanced very well and almost tipped over. They are just now offering spa/massage-type services again after several months, so I acknowledge these are not their "bread and butter" services. Still, a couple tweaks to the tables/loungers and it would be perfect!

The sound therapy and head techniques were incredible, and I left feeling calmer than I have in ages. My hair stayed soft and smelled amazing for days. The spa is spotless, private, beautifully lit, and has a peaceful Eastern‑influenced vibe. They even store your shoes in a cubby when you arrive. Highly recommend -- amazing value and a truly unique experience. That said, here's the one thing that knocked it down a star for me: the payment process for gifts is tricky-if you're planning to surprise someone, make sure you clarify the payment setup ahead of time -- otherwise the person you're trying to treat might end up stuck with the bill if you're not physically there to pay.

I'm really disappointed with my experience today. I had to ask if Mika was coming, and that's when I was told she was fully booked and busy. If I had known that beforehand, I would not have stayed. I live three hours away and specifically came expecting to have my appointment with Mika. During the service, water also got into my ear and I'm still trying to get it out, which has been very uncomfortable. My first visit here was a great experience, which is why several of my family members also come here now. Unfortunately, today's visit was very disappointing and I honestly couldn't wait for the session to be over. Just wanted to mention that the owner told me Mika had a family emergency and had to leave early, but that was not was the therapist said to me beforehand. I will say I'm glad my hubby was able to get Eva, since she was the other person we originally requested. They offered me a complimentary service with Mika for next visit, but honestly it is not worth the stress or the drive after what I went through. Lesson learned. On top of everything, we still tipped well.

She is not only incredibly kind, patient, gentle, and professional, but also extremely knowledgeable and truly an expert at what she does. This was my first time having my eyebrows done, so naturally I had questions and wanted to understand the process. Erika went above and beyond, taking her time to explain everything in detail what to expect before, during, and after the procedure, as well as how to properly care for my eyebrows afterward. She never rushed me, answered every question, and made sure I felt completely comfortable and confident every step of the way. The entire process was honestly amazing quality : zero pain, zero issues, and such a calm and pleasant experience. I had already heard so many wonderful things about Erika from several previous clients who highly recommended her, and now I completely understand why! Her kindness, attention to detail, generosity, patience, and professionalism truly exceeded my expectations. She genuinely cares about her clients and takes pride in making sure they leave happy. And as if the experience wasn't already wonderful enough, she even sends you home with a sweet little gift such a thoughtful vibe The business itself is beautiful and professional, but Erika is truly the person who makes it shine and glow. She is an absolute gem, and I am so happy I trusted her with my eyebrows. I already know I will be coming back! Highly, highly recommended. If you are considering getting your eyebrows done, especially if it is your first time, Erika is the person you want to see.

My eyebrows were over-waxed and caused my skin to breakout thanks to the famous chain waxing service who claim to be 'unique'. I went in to inquire about appointments at ER Brows while picking up copy paper from the Office Depot next door. The first thing that struck me is that the place is very clean and hygienic. I was advised that they take walk-ins so decided to get the job done then and there. Maria is phenomenal! She measured and drew out my brows to ensure even sizing. I like my eyebrows wide as my eyebrow hair, while enough, is not thick. She did such a nice job waxing my brows and took her time shaping them and tweezing out the little hairs that the wax strip didn't get rid of. Super impressed! I'll definitely be returning and most certainly recommend this place.

I had a very weird experience at this nail salon. I went here because I saw many positive reviews…read moreon Google raving about the location. I know it is new and just opened, and based on the pictures I saw posted on social media, it looks promising. I booked an appointment for my mother and me around 11 AM on a Saturday. We showed up at 10:55 AM and didn't get seen until 11:22 PM. I found this a bit irritating, since what is the point of booking an appointment if you're not seen in a timely manner? In addition, it looks as if this place is understaffed. At most, there were seven employees working on clients when we arrived, and about three clients were waiting to be seen in addition to ourselves. Let's discuss the pros. First of all, the establishment is very beautiful. The room is beautifully decorated. They have exquisite decor and plenty of pedicure chairs and manicure stations. They have gorgeous chandeliers and bar stations where you can get drinks and snacks. Additionally, I was very pleasantly surprised by their selection of nail colors. However, the negatives outweigh the positives. If you are a plus-size individual or elderly, the pedicure stations may not be for you. My mother, being older and plus-size, had difficulty fitting into the chairs and stepping up onto the tall step to get into them. She informed me afterwards that she didn't really enjoy her experience since she was uncomfortable during most of it. Furthermore, she tried to tell her pedicurist not to dig into the corner of her nail bed, but he either ignored or misunderstood her request and contradicted her. As for me, I got a basic dip manicure, and my manicurist was interesting...I found him to be a bit unprofessional. First, he was complaining to me about a client he had just dealt with who hadn't even left the establishment. I understand sometimes you have to deal with bad clients, but I don't think it's appropriate to discuss them with other clients, and even while they're still in the same building. He also asked me about the previous nail salon I frequented, which he apparently had worked at before. He then continued ranting about how terrible that place was. Finally, he then tried to coerce me into writing a positive review on Google to get a, wait for it, free lotion pack. Oh, wow, how exciting! I finally realized in this moment that all those five-star reviews on Google were starting to make sense. Overall, my dip manicure was mediocre at best -- nothing to write home about. I'm not a fan of establishments trying to push their clientele for positive reviews. It should come authentically -- good or bad. I probably won't be back
