They asked the right kind of questions and took time checking different things like breathing and posture. I felt like they were paying attention to my symptoms and not just reading off a chart. An outlook changing treatment Thanks! Fantastic service with stellar results! I'm thrilled beyond words at the leaps and bounds my internal health has taken after my sessions. This was a very interesting experience, yielding far superior results than I could have predicted overall. I'm still a little in awe at the tangible difference the visits to Reimer Wellness have made to my everyday life. Without doubt, I'm feeling incredibly joyful and youthful, with more subtle movement than I've had in many years - I literally feel that proverbial "spring in my step." Very beneficial, and absolutely worth both my time and money. The staff work synergistically with each other, resulting in great overall patient care. My series of 22 sessions, yielded such measurable results, that about the 4th visit onwards, I began referring to them as "treat"-meants!" What I got from Dr. Mary and her staff - each with their own capabilities, who work together with, and under her direction...was nothing short of miraculous, and with such tangible results, very easily worth my time and money. The office and her business approach is practical, approachable, warm, understanding and completely pressure free. 2 days after the initial exam and a taster session, I did go ahead and purchase the grouping of sessions, in hopes of good results. I'm so glad I did. ‍ I didn't feel better per se, after each treatment. Rather, the sense of overall improved movement flowed in over the next day, and week after. I did choose to go 3x a week, to optimize the improvements done each visit (and, if I'm honest, to get it gone sooner - not realizing until afterwards, what wonderful benefits I would reap by doing so). Now, almost 4 weeks after my series culminated, I could cry with joy - my entire body feels stretchable, malleable and in excellent form. I can get in and out of the car, my breathing is different, my body, skin, muscle structure, seriously feels...youthful. Almost no acid reflux! standing straight is now a delightfully organic experience, simply walking is easier (my gait which had been a slight overweight waddle) is straightening, and movement is, dare I say it...fun?! What specifically changed? Let me tell you a few! 1. After years, of mostly upright sleeping, and on my back, and side, careful to keep my valves closed on my left side, imagine my joy to fall asleep and wake, pain free, on my stomach. 2. Imagine 2 years of speaking as little as possible to people (normally I'm a chatterbox), because it alters breathing, causing severe stress on the diaphragm and sends acid flaring up your entire chest. Imagine that a couple of days after 2 sessions under Dr. Mary's gentle stomach alignment (literally a few minutes)...you realize you are going longer between pain bouts. Imagine the release after 4 sessions, and that after 10 sessions, your symptoms have practically diminished. Whaaat?! 3. Reimer's Graston treatments. Wow and double wow. Such a difference in my very skin structure and the fibers of my muscles. Seriously, this is a fantastic "soft," non invasive treatment, using various pointed/rounded tools (that feels rather like a smooth roller gliding over your body), and is in spots, p-a-I-nful But, only momentarily and so very, very, noticeably effective, and exceedingly worthwhile doing. But, all your stuck-together-like-pasta muscles (that you didn't even know were congealed), back, shoulders, arms thighs - everywhere, will be loosened, and you will notice a vast improvement in your body fluidity. Need I say more?! Kolisa did my treatments, and her skill is beyond wonderful. 4. Massage segments. In two words: effective and worthwhile. Each one was as nice as a good massage...and better - because it was far, far more physical therapy oriented, structured to work hand in hand with Dr. Mary's subsequent alignments. You'll get the opportunity to try each masseuse (and I'd recommend you do). I have been in Chiropractic most of my adult life. I had back surgery in 2005 and have back pain every day of my life since then. My wife told me to check her out, but I was reluctant because it was in Los Altos, and I live in Fremont. After a few months of my wife telling me how great she was, I went... It was pretty weird at first, maybe even my first few visits. People take their shoes off at the front door and yes, Dr. Mary gave me a hug on my first visit as I was walked out to the front door. Almost a year later I am still going and I have to say, she is the best Chiropractor I have ever had. She is kind, funny, and cares about your well being more anyone I have seen in the past (and I have seen some good ones). I go every 2 weeks for about 1 hr and 15 minutes. I get a massage first for one hour, then Dr. Mary right after. Angel is the best masseuse who makes all my pain go away (and puts me to sleep) then Dr. Mary adjust me after my muscles have loosened up. The Jade Stone massage beds are free of charge for those who don't have time for the 1 hr massage (would love to own one of these for my house). Dr. Mary is a very real person. Her concern and emotions are always genuine. Anyone who gets to know her will see the same. You can tell she is doing what she loves as it pours out of her on every visit. Dr. Mary Reimer has worked a miracle in my particular case. I would like to say I walked into Reimer Wellness Center, but I actually couldn't walk. I had pain in my hips and knees and numbness in my foot that had been getting progressively worse over a period of weeks and eventually it became unbearable and I couldn't walk more than a few steps at a time. I am a very active person in my late 20's and back problems never occurred to me as an option. I went to the ER and they diagnosed me with herniated discs in my lower lumbar spine and referred me to a neurosurgeon. I called the neurosurgeon and received luke warm customer service at best. I had never been to a chiropractor before and have always been relatively skeptical (and I am an engineer for a medical device company that makes products for spine surgery, so I tend to be more familiar/comfortable with that). I called Dr. Mary after a recommendation from a good friend and they worked me in that day for a consultation, coordinated getting me an MRI within 24 hours prior to treatment (confirming 3 herniated discs), and after my first appointment I was a different person. I was able to stand up almost straight, had relief from the majority of my pain, and could function like a normal human being again. Needless to say, I was very impressed. I have been back a number of times since that initial visit for follow up care and have continued to progress and receive exceptional care and attention. Athena at the reception desk has been extremely helpful working with my insurance and I have had no issues at all. The entire massage therapy team is fantastic as well. No complaints from me. Dr. Mary and her team have worked wonders to get me back on the path to being healthy and avoiding surgery. I should have trusted my instinct about this place - but chose to ignore all the signs that were waving red flags. Pushy front desk, over the top sugar sweet communication and the hugs after the appointments. It was just uncomfortable! I wanted a non-force technique - which the front desk was all "yup" about in terms of service they provided. Instead, I got the works with pops and cracks. That helped my problem but scared me through the process. DO visit them for the pops and cracks - but be extremely careful on how you validate whether they accept your insurance and billings. What they say and actually accept in reality - are two differently things. Needless to say - I will never get back to this twilight zone. read more

A week after the hassle of calling my bank to report an unauthorized charge on my credit card, Lisa from this office called to apologize for what had happened. She said that the receptionist came back from maternity leave and didn't know the policy. Lisa was really professional and sincere so with that I up my rating but I can't give them 5 stars because I went through the hassle of filling a claim with my bank and as an unauthorized charge. I believe first impression is very important and I certainly didn't get that from at this place. I do appreciate the credit and now I have to call my bank to tell them that Reimer have refunded my account. If you have purposed one of those massage promotion, go ahead and try them out. For the past 5 months, Dr. Mary has been caring for me and my lower back pain with her overall wellness approach. Other chiropractors tend to adjust you for 5 minutes and then send you out the door. Not her. The initial assessment is extremely thorough and evaluates not only your back but your whole body, including a foot scan. She knows that pain can stem not solely from a misalignment in your back but may also be attributed to high arches, like in my case. With the help of custom orthodics, a supportive new pillow and regular visits to Dr. Mary and Morgan (massage therapist), I am feeling much better. I trust that I am in great hands and have recommended her to several close friends. They are feeling better too! I've never been to a chiro before because I was afraid of the horror stories. However, I follow my instincts, so after going there for massage, I agreeded to chiro. I trust Mary (which is important to me) The other patients there love her. So far (3 visits), it is great, and most of all, my back and neck are feeling better. Big fan! I was unable to run due to plantar fasciitis but after the graston technique treatment I was back to running much much faster than my orthopedic doctor had predicted. I was very very skeptical at first but was eager to try anything and now I am a firm believer. Dr Mary is very kind and Marsha does make you a marshmallow. This is a mixed review. The good part: My physical issues were greatly improved by Dr. Mary's treatments after consistently attending long appointments 3 times a week for over a year. The bad part: I felt completely deceived regarding insurance coverage, even when I asked directly about it. I was new to the country and the health insurance system and asked them if they "took my insurance" to which they answered yes. I did ask the question the wrong way, perhaps, but I still feel they took advantage of my lack of experience, and didn't inform me about the huge bill I was accruing - a shock to say the least. I also feel that the office does a "hard sell" on things like orthotics. They need to know that not everyone can afford several hundreds of dollars in alternative health care treatments and accessories. read more

Dr. Mary is a very caring chiropractor. She has been helping me with shoulder, knee, and neck pain for the past two years. I always leave feeling lighter and taller!
