When I was looking up their hours I was shocked to see the bad reviews. Our family of five is very active in sports and and strength training fitness. With the help of Gordon (one of the employees in the fitness section) and Marilyn (the woman who is a pillar at the registers at this location) I have pieces together an affordable yet AMAZING home gym. Gordon went above and beyond to help me get what I needed at a price far lower than I was prepared to pay. It helps that I gets lots of rewards and coupons too ;) We purchase all of our baseball equipment and probably 90% of our wardrobes from here as well. Returns are never a hassle and the employees are always great! It's really a shame that consumers only take the time to write bad reviews as I'm sure there are 1,000's of customers who have had the same experiences as my family and I. The store is quite large and clearly does pretty great business, likely thanks to the sales they run on a regular basis and a strong email marketing program. Now that I am vaccinated I am back to a regular fitness routine, with masks still required. I take intensive HIIT classes so I was on the hunt for a mask that was breathable and stayed on and most folks pointed to this UA option. After taking my first class with the mask on I have to say I am SO underwhelmed. I had more success with a surgical mask and silicon bracket. The UA mask, while nice bc you don't inhale it, is really thick and dense with no breathability, making my face so hot the entire time I was working out I had like...swamp face? I couldn't get deep breaths in. The mask is nonreturnable and PRICEY at $30 so this is a disappointment. I'll use it for walks and brisk activities but am bummed out about they hype vs the experience. I digress - I also picked up some WAY marked down workout tanks and a new sports bra. Everything is easy to find and the staff was helpful and courteous. At least I got 50% off the bra with purchase of the mask? WOOF. If you're an athlete or have a kiddo who loves the brand, this is a great spot for deals. Happy shopping! Skip the UA mask for cardio!

There's more than enough staff to help the number of people in the store but not overly helpful, I had to track someone down more than once for assistance. They've run some decent sales, they seem to be a pretty good mix of an opportunity to purchase new styles but also an opportunity to get good stuff at a reasonable price if you catch a good sale. It feels like they have a better selection of men's clothing vs womens. The right half of the store is mostly men's, front left is women's and back left is children's. Wish they had a bigger selection of women's clothing.

When I returned with the paperwork from county clerk on Tuesday, 8/11/26, John, the employee behind the counter, retrieved the handgun, but claimed he didn't know about the shotgun, so a second background check was required. While the background check was running, he left to help another customer, then disappeared. Two other employees took over the transaction, but there was confusion about what steps had been completed. What should have been a simple 30 minute transaction turned into a 2+ hour wait. Very disappointed in Sportsman's Warehouse, not worth a return trip.

After some online research, I decided I wanted to try a sports bra from here and asked my husband to get it as part of a birthday gift for me. He came and found the bra with the help of a sales person. He said she was great and nice but kind of pushy. She wanted Adam to get a bigger size for me and wanted him to get a different color/pattern then what he had planned. Adam knows me too well and stood his ground and got my normal size and the color I would like the best, which is just black. When the sales person finally gave up on the pushing for the sports bra, Adam asked about yoga pants. They found a pair that I would like but Adam ultimately put them back when he saw they were just shy of costing $100.00. They store does not offer their pants in short length however, they will hem the pants for free which I think I would prefer because then I know I am getting the right length since sometimes shorts are still too long for me. Fast forward another week and it is my birthday. I got the sports bra and I tried it on. I was a little iffy as whether or not it would provide the support I wanted while running even though it is a high impact sports bra for running. I asked Adam what the return policy is and he said the lady who helped him said 2 weeks and that I can try it first. I wore it the next day to the gym and it was not supportive enough for me to run 10 miles in without discomfort so I washed it and brought it back to the store. The person who helped me stated they normally wouldn't take the product back since it didn't have the tag attached but he would do so anyway which I was thankful for. I just got Adam's money back but I looked around the store and was impressed with the amount of product and variety there is. Comparing this place to fleet feet, fleet feet has a better return policy which is seriously helpful when buying a sports bra but this place offers more which is going to get me into this store. The only down fall is how expensive it is. I won't pay for some things like $100.00 yoga pants but I will certainly pay about $50 for my shorts since they will be worn more and I like to know I will have the quality that can stand up to my rough work outs. Of course i didn't want to leave him in the car at dicks, so I called before I left and asked if they allowed pets- and they did! As long as they're leashed, you clean up after any accidents, well behaved and non aggressive (no aggression at *all*) they're welcome in the store! So my 8 y/o lab got to take his first trip to dicks today with me. We were greeted when we walked in, several people asked if we needed help finding anything, the store was organized, and the best part was there was nothing on the ground that my dog might potentially step on or eat which was fantastic. I was expecting it to be a bit dirty considering they have a mall entrance but it was very clean. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. My dog had lots of fun on his adventures today and I really appreciate the staff allowing us in. We got to work on some training and got some really good training in the store. I look forward to coming here with my dogs again in the future! Definitely going to be the reason I come here more often. Thank you to the employees! Side note- the mall is NOT pet friendly so please don't bring your pet in the mall. Go in through the outdoor entrance and DONT go into the mall with your pet. Please make sure they're well behaved and don't pee or poop on anything, not at all aggressive, leashed on a regular length leash, etc. if people don't follow this the privilege to bring them in will be taken away. Remember not everyone wants to see a dog in the store and they don't necessarily want to say hi to them. And dogs can also get very stressed in stores so if your dog gets stressed or you think they will, for their own sake please leave them at home! It was very upsetting and an awful experience. I will NEVER go back to this store location and I almost stopped going to the whole Dicks franchise but I went to the Batavia location and it was SOO amazing. Next she took me over to the pant section, where she recommended the comfort trail pants. Once I tried these on I fell in love, super comfy and easy to move around in. I was surprised at how thin but protective they are. I also purchased a primaloft packaway vest, perfect to keep my core warm but still able to move. I am so impressed with this place and the service will keep me coming back. After shopping here I am all set for my vacation!
