I was told I needed fillings done for micro cavities that were neither felt nor bothersome in any way (micro cavities do not require treatment I have since learned). I also went through 4 different hygienists in 2 years, the last 2 of which were absolutely terrible, frankly the worst I have ever experienced, and I like getting my teeth cleaned. They also didn't give me my records when I requested them just to discover thorough records were not being kept (violation of Dental Ass. regulations). Please do some research first before choosing a dentist. Beware of this place.

I have had a number of appointments at this office this year. There has not been 1 time that I have…read morebeen seen on time for my appointment. I left today after waiting 25 minutes after my appointment time before advising Therese I needed to reschedule and explaining that the complete disregard for my time is terrible. I completely understand that things happen but they are tracking at 100% I am seen after my appointment. Sometimes I am brought back to sit and wait and sometimes I am just left to sit in the waiting area. Here is the thing, had someone come out and explained that the provider is running behind and provided and est time I would be seen I would probably wait but I am just left to sit all while watching the provider walk back and forth to his office no less than 5-6 times. When I voiced my concern to Therese she did not respond, she just looked at me like I was insane. She looked at me like, how dare I expect to be seen on time. The dental work is "OK", Cannot really say anything bad about that, but value your clients, value their time. I am never late for my appointments, because I value their time. They know they are running behind...do me the courtesy of a call to advise me of this and ask me to come in later or reschedule. But...nope...ZERO client respect and value.

I needed it for a very long time to get cleared for another treatment and it was very delayed to this office with multiple antibiotics for incurring problems. They were very poor on their communication about pain medication after a surgery. They called hydrocodone with acetaminophen Tylenol, three which is horribly the wrong name for a medication. After 7 teeth are pulled orseven bones are broken. I expect to have pain medication for more than 24 hours which they did not do. They also did not put in my pain medication until after my surgery and I did not get medication for six hours after the surgery.. I have osteoporosis and I've had 17 broken bones in the last three years so I know what pain is. My needs should be met adequately. I think it is a very big risk to not adequately. Give pain medication and make people desperate, proper relief and that's how many hell 22 veterans a day end up dead. Have a nice day.

Otherwise the sick patients have to face an irrefutable bill. We were billed $50 because my wife woke up running a fever shortly after I had to cancel because I had gotten sick. Logical no-show cancellations make sense of course. But forcing people to come into the office while running fevers, and back-to-back family illness (which makes sense given we live together that we would catch from each other)? If you or someone in your household gets sick on an appointment day, know that you will be billed! And when you're in the office, know that the other patients might be coming in while sick, as they will be billed if they don't show up. We had chosen Heinecke Family Dentistry because they were not a big chain and seemed genuinely family-run. After spending several thousand dollars on extensive dental work out of pocket, they drew a hard line that we pay another $50 for getting sick, or never come back. The worst part is the duplicity of seemingly like a genuine and compassionate place, but actually have no issue tossing out two patients who have been coming for years for not coming in when sick. Thankfully we found another family-owned dentist office where we don't have to worry that other patients will be coming in while running fevers under threats of fees if they no-show for illness. Do NOT recommend.

Very personable and great people…read more I've used them three or four times, with two different insurances, over the course of maybe fifteen years. They always worked with my schedule (could only do afternoons, not mornings, for instance). Some of the modalities I've not seen elsewhere include Hiveamitt (I'll have to check the spelling on that later), and Laser pen treatment. The other treatments I've received included tens unit, exercise machines, fitness bands, and balance/strengthening. Would highly recommend. Will update with pictures later.
