5 years ago I went to the salon with a $100 gift card bought for me by someone else. Got my hair done, done well. Went to pay and was told that their card reader was not working. They attempted twice. So I paid $50 in cash. I've been back twice but couldn't even find the salon anymore. at some point I misplaced the card moving homes. I recently found my gift card, checked the balance and lo and behold it's empty. So either, they stole the money the day of my hair cut or the company lies and charges it when it's inactive. Either way, I'm out a $100 gift. read more

I am super picky about how my hair is cut, especially when it's short, but I've come here a couple times and love it every time. I always bring a reference pic, and he lets me know how it'll look on me with my face and hair texture, and he even helped me pick out a color for my skin tone. I always feel so good after my appointments. read more

I came in to get my hair dye and Chuck being very rude he just touched my hair and said oh this gonna be $250 !! And then said he's not gonna dye it and told me he gonna just trim it and then cut 6 inches off way more then I wanted . Very poor service he didn't even clean his scissors still had hair for another customer and same as the brush. The other workers were eating in front of me and had their kids running around I would not recommend this but what do u Expect from a mall hair salons read more

Oh I loved my new hair cut. A guy called Cliff styled my hair... I explained him what kinda cut/style I want - and he understood it and did a good job. There was another Indian girl (school kid) getting her hair cut - some lady was cutting her hair - and I liked what she did too. So I believe one can try this Salon. Also I heard from another friend that its even good for men's hair cut - some guy called Jeff, I guess, little elderly looking man cuts for men. read more

The ladies at Regis are awesome! Especially Ashley! She gave me the perfect look for NYE, bouncy girls with a touch of glitter!

Dee and Stephanie helped me get my rough hair cut looking much better and we had a lot of fun, too! They were knowledgeable about my curly hair and very helpful. read more

I was in a wedding this past Friday and I had my hair appt scheduled at Regis for 11am and makeup at MAC in Macys at 12:30... Perfect timing for everything as the bride asked that we be ready by 2pm. Perfect timing for everything. At 10am, I received a phone call from a man at Regis to say that they needed to cancel my appt because the stylist had "a plumbing emergency." I was shocked that they were canceling my appt. I said to him a few times that I was in a wedding, but he didn't care. It's not like I was just getting my hair cut, I WAS IN A WEDDING! He then said that he was handing the phone to a woman to (and I quote) "remediate". Like anyone else could help here. I couldn't believe it. I have NEVER had a salon cancel on an important day because of one of there people not coming to work. Every salon I have ever gone to would have bent over backwards to make sure you were taken care of especially because of an important event. At that point, I was left with no choice but to go to Hair Cuttery. When I told them what happened they couldn't believe it either. Thankfully they did my hair beautifully. I will never ever go to Regis and I urge anyone scheduling an appt for a wedding or prom to be careful and not to count on them. They will make NO effort to help you and don't even care that they are leaving you in a bind. read more

Came here for a simple trim and they guy took FOREVER.. just snipping one little snip at a time, which was very annoying because I just wanted a straight cut, only 2 inches off. Also he was telling me repeadedly how DRY and DAMAGED my hair was even though I said I NEVER blow dry and straighten it after air drying maybe once/month, so this "dry damage" is just the natural texture of my hair. He really made me feel bad about my hair; I came in for a cut, not a critique. He was also totally unprofessional... I was 19 and in college at the time and he said "Just don't get pregnant and you'll be fine!" REALLY?! There is nothing wrong with having a baby at 19 or in college in the first place, but when I told him not to worry about it he says "Oh, can't find someone to get your pregnant? That really shouldn't be a problem." He was nuts! AND the price was terrible for what I received: $45 and I left with wet hair! I normally pay $12 at my regular place. WILL NEVER RETURN NOR RECOMMEND. read more

This is the worst place in the world they tell you to wait five minutes than 30 minutes later they tell you oh we messed up the next available appointment is in two hours. This place should be out of business for bad business practice read more

This is the best salon I go to and whenever I want a GOOD cut this is where I go. I like short and edgy haircuts that are always hard to replicate it seems when i go to a place such as The Hair Cuttery. I usually ask for Jen (she has tattoos, always has a cool hair color in, shes super nice, and an AMAZING stylist) One day I was feeling impulsive and needed my hair cut THAT DAY but Jen was out of work for the next for days. Instead I went with a lovely man named Hayati. He was GREAT!!! I wanted to go blonde but had bright red hair at the time and he was honest and told me I would not be able to get the right color the first time and that I would have to come back multiple times to keep toning it and said I might end up spending over $400. I went with a dark red instead and that came out perfect. ALSO the way he was able to work with my many cowlicks was mind blowing. I have NEVER had anyone be able to tame it before and he cut my hair in a way that i wont even have to fight it with styling products! It is definitely my most "edgy" haircut to date. He buzzed the side of my head leaving the other side long and put some steps in. I received sooo many compliments just walking down the street. The place may be a little pricey if you are used to going to places like the Hair Cuttery or Great Clips, etc. but its definitely worth it. Ask for Hayati or Jen. They are both GREAT. The whole staff is very nice and I dont think ive ever come out of that place unhappy before. -Kaity read more

Just got my haircut here, I'm really happy with it, just the basic cleanup on the sides and an inch off the top, but it's really proportionate, which I really look for, so I'm really happy. I'm a guy, so it would seem like you can't mess it up, but trust me some places do. This is my second time coming here and I've had it cut by tiffany both times Will come back. read more

If you go here, Jackie is your girl-ask for her! She's done my hair twice already and I've been very pleased both times. I've lived in the area all my life and have struggled to find someone who can do good-quality, nice layers. Also, when choosing to color my hair a much darker tone than normal, she really did it right and advised a proper color that both matched my skin tone and fulfilled the change I was looking for. Jackie takes her time (which I really appreciate) because it's evident that she cares about her clients and giving them hair they are confident in. I'm so glad I've finally found someone who knows what she's doing!! read more

I m very much impressed with this salon. I often visit here and every time i go here they try to accommodate. Very talented hair stylists especially Stephanie...Stephanie was really sweet and took me at my request, almost at the end of the day as i had to get my hair done and the care she took of me was so commendable and i was given a lot of compliments whenever i got my hair done... Definitely gonna recommend and give them 5 star rating... read more

I have long thick, curly hair. I needed a cut and I wanted to get it blown out and straightened. Over the phone, the woman told me the cut/style would be ~$45, and whoever was styling my hair would probably charge 15-20 over that. That's fine, I have a lot of hair, so it takes longer. They allotted me to have an hour and a half. So I get there at my appointment time. The stylist I was supposed to have showed up 10 minutes late. Not only that, when she came in, she handed me off to another stylist who had been sitting idle for a bit. So now I already was a bit antsy. This hair stylist (her name was Chris) was nice, and everything seemed fine. She was spouting all sorts of knowledge about how she knows how to cut curly hair unlike most stylists, blahblahblah. I liked her though, got my trim, and then she began the straightening. She took longer than my previous stylists did, and she didn't even do that great of a job. She put this anti-frizz oil straight onto the TOP of my head. And A LOT of it. So great, I have no fly-aways, but now my hair is a grease ball. I could see it as she was combing my hair and using the flat iron on it. Not only that, but when she was done, there were waves and kinks all over the place. I just took it as it was, and thought, "eh". BUT. When I stood up, she said "Hope you have your wallet with you!" and then proceeded to charge me $90 friggin dollars. The girl at the counter was utterly confused and gave the stylist weird looks when she was charging me. Like she knew I was getting ripped off. I should've said something, but I didn't. I handed off a $100 and left. I will NOT be going back. I paid $100 for a trim and a mediocre at best straighten. read more

Sandy did a beautiful job on my cut. However the products used felt fairly cheap. She Flat ironed my hair left a couple of crinkles.Wouldn't recommend going there if you have biracial hair, ethnic hair, etc. read more

ok, i'm going out on a limb here and getting my metrosexual on but i've been here 3 times and the guy, yes, guy as in heterosexual guy, that cuts my hair is really good. his name is jeff and he does a good job listening to what i'm looking for, and then does it. he's really good. and really difficult to get an apt. with. i can't believe i just reviewed a hair salon, in a mall, no less read more

Came in for a trim haircut and it came out exactly as I asked. The store seems a bit short staffed so stylists were interrupted to greet people and answer phones at the front desk. read more

Horrible! A young woman cut my sons hair. She had no idea what she was doing ! He looked like he got in a fight with a weed whacker and lost. She kept dropping utensils and his whole face was covered with hair clippings and she washed his hair for like 10 minutes. Totally weird. We took him to hair cuttery the next day and they fixed him. Hey Regis you should be more selective on who you hire. Don't hire some rookie out of beauty school that has no idea what they're doing... read more

Up until a couple of weeks ago, I would have given this place either 4 or 5 stars. Unfortunately Quakerbridge Mall was recently renovated, and Regis moved into a miserable shoe box of a storefront - to the point where the "waiting area" is 3 chairs out in the mall against the front of the salon - so you're actually in the mall while you wait. They may better organize things a they adapt to their new space, but it was a major step down. I don't expect a spa where I get my hair cut (being a guy), but they don't exactly charge barber shop prices either, If you can look past the new digs, and if you are lucky enough to find one of the few rather talented stylists there, you can get a pretty good-to-great cut at a decent price, that's why I gave it 3 stars. But while I understand economics and am sure the rental rates in the renovated mall probably dictated the move, it's a shame. read more

My wife treated me to a much needed haircut at Regis today. I am so happy with the way Colleen hooked it up for me; she listened to what I wanted and took it from there..best I've looked in ages. On top of that, she was super chill . I will certainly be one of her regulars read more
