I spent hours and $180 to get "platinum" blond as per the stylists suggestion. What she gave me was dusty light red, the color of Sun In Spray and dehydrated urine. Oh, and a singular purple highlight that I didn't ask for. Another stylist asked me if I was happy with my hair and I told her that I wasn't. Apparently the problem was that they only had "sandstone" not a cool blond tone in stock. If that was the case I could have gone brown, as was also considered before embarking on this expensive waste of time. The stylist to her credit did go to her car to retrieve a Redken product that might have toned the bilge slightly, but she was disallowed owing to the fact that they do not carry Redken at Super Cuts. The salon manager also tried to tell me "it looks beautiful" but I can tell you that I myself, my friends and family, and anyone with vision, beg to differ. It looks ugly. He was gaslighting me. DO NOT get your hair colored at this location. They are out of their depth, and have no customer service. read more

Less than one star. I asked for a simple blowdry. I should've known when she kept saying we should use a diffuser and keep it curly. She didn't rinse all the conditioner out so when she went to blow it dry is smelled like it was burning. It was a frizzy mess. Blowing dry hair at a hair salon is not exactly rocket science. I had to do it myself. They were rude too. Acted as if i was in the wrong. Do NOT go there if you are a woman with shoulder length hair. In retrospect I remember them asking if i wanted a hair cut. Less than 1 star for this place. We took our 19 month old kid for hair cut, checked in at 12 and were made to wait for 1 hour. After 1 hour when it was our turn they asked us to wait for 15 more minutes so they can serve other person who came almost 1 hour after we checked in. I've been here off and on for about 7 years, sporadic but stthe books. I was going to the Mercer mall one but I got permanently burned by a flat iron once, then went to someone else who took forever. So I'm back @ the Denow Road location. Coming to Pennington is closer but it takes forever; I stopped in @5:10 pm; 2 stylists, I was told I could come back in 45 minutes. I came back @ 5:50 pm - It's now 6:30 pm & I'm still waiting - I'd leave but this is my third attempt at getting a haircut in the past week here. NOT a great experience today UPDATE - just one word- MARILYN! MARILYN! MARILYN! Aside from her sunny disposition & eagerness to work with you, she knows hair! I am a woman of color; it's still difficult to go to just any salon, not everyone wants to tackle curly hair. Marilyn knows exactly what she's doing no matter who's in the chair - this is why she's received an award for her styling and ability to cut. I'll be back! But only if Marilyn's on!! Walked in on a whim and was pleasantly greeted by the staff. My stylists name was Kate, she was very nice and easy to talk to. I said surprise me since I didn't really know what I wanted. She gave me a fresh cut about 2in off dead ends, layers, a deep conditioning treatment and a killer blow out. I love how healthy and smooth my hair feels and looks. I will definitely be back for a fall coloring. I also highly recommend Kate. read more

I'm a fan of Supercuts when I'm in a pinch or I just don't feel like rushing up north to my old hairdresser, you never know what you'll get when you go to a new hairdresser the first time! Although my hair is a little shorter than I was hoping for - I bleached it this summer and colored it twice - so I probably needed that! My hair dresser was super nice, talkative and so funny. My boyfriend and I walked in about 10 minutes after opening and they took us both and had us out in 20. I'd come back for sure read more

I made an online appointment for 12:40pm and showed up 15 minutes early to be told to come back later. The stylist apparently had two color appointments going and four other people waiting for haircuts. She told me to come back at 2-2:30pm so I left and came back at 2:15pm. She was still working on the color jobs and told me I'd have to come back later. The salon was clearly understaffed and the online scheduling system either wasn't working or could just be dismissed by the employee. There also seemed to be a friend of the stylist there who was joking around with her and came up to the cash register to help me even though it was obvious she wasn't an employee. I've gotten my hair cut here for years and even with all the staff turnover it's usually been good. But the service is slipping. I won't be going back. read more

HORRIBLE PLACE. I came in for a trim nothing more. The lady Carmen there butchered my hair up so bad. I also had to ask her to stop at one point cutting my hair. I go home quietly knowing it would be bad. I even tipped her as I am not good at speaking up. I had a scheduled apt with someone else, but they put me with this person Carmen. It was all uneven and horribly short. I felt like a plucked chicken. Next day I check in on line again and go there quietly tell them what happened then sit down. The lady Another Carmen comes over making a scene telling me oh they are busy how about come back next week. I still told them politely you guys are the one who butchered my hair. I still checked in online and am sitting here. NOT once did I even say it's past my check in time. It was an hour wait & when i was finally called, they were laughing. Also she called me to sit without cleaning the chair from the previous client. Im disgusted by such. Horrible place. There are million options to get your hair cut. They need to really value their customers more and hire competent stylists. No refund too but stuck with this which will take months to recover read more

Went to this hair salon a year ago. Sierra did my hair and she was AMAZING!!!! I went back to the hair salon today, even though I have a little bit of color left over, and the new manager wanted to give me a consultation of $200-$400 even though with Sierra I only paid $175. I told her that and she rolled her eyes at me and walked off. They did away with their deals within the midweek as soon as she had left. Asked where Sierra went to and nobody would tell me. Been looking all over for her throughout this area and no luck. The new manager told me "a kid's hair place." Great help. Not going back with the attitudes these employees give. read more

Let's just say both haircuts for my son and I were horrible. The haircut was a simple clipper fade (which she could not perform the basics). My son has 2 visible holes on his head and what I received were line on my head where it was supposed to be a fade. She cut hair like she was in a hurry when no one was next in line. I went here the other day and the customer service was amazing! I had a lovely young lady named Sierra cut my hair. I simply wanted a V cut with layers and she did it perfectly. I cannot remember the last time someone who has cut my hair and was able to do a simple V cut properly. Every one was extremely friendly and they gave great recommendations about hair products to further better my hair! I will definitely be coming here again and will be making this my new permanent hair cut place. read more

Misquoted price! Told it would be $33. Then AFTER haircut, was charged $52. I reminded them of quote prior. Angie, the stylist, declared that it was a "starting price" and became irate and indignant. It was appalling. Three others heard her original quote, and all agreed that was the price she stated. Once again, she demanded her $52.
