First the good - We purchased our puppy almost 1year ago. Our puppy is a beautiful, loving, and playful boy. The breeder was very informative about the facility and the Puppies that were available. The bad - We have been unable to get the proof of our puppy's West German bloodline, as promised, despite an ongoing dialogue with Cindy. We are well aware of the fact that Vom Regis' GS are not AKC registered, however Cindy has stated many times that she has the papers and will send them. We are being stonewalled and are at a loss as to why. Given the high cost of the puppy, which is standard for the West German lines, the bloodline verification should be automatic. We would suggest that if you are going to purchase from this breeder, you get the bloodline information with the contract and before you pay. read more

I wish I took photos while working here, but wow this place is so horrible. These poor dogs are being treated so badly by Cynthia. I got hired and I worked there and I had a medical emergency that made me quit but I never even got paid by her. These dogs are all COVERED head to toe in their own poop, she doesn't bathe them and doesn't want us to clean them either. They are all inbred with each other so they're all like aunties and uncles and cousins etc etc and she tells people these are "world class dogs" and charges them a ton of money. But I've seen these dogs literally not leave their kennels, eat their own poop, FIGHT over eating their poop, and if you mention to her-"hey I think you need this for the dogs" it's a battle. She is definitely scamming people and not taking care of these dogs properly, I found out so many horrible things while working there and it was so sad to see. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS PLACE. read more

Dysplasia and Fraud. Had my dog x-rayed and first Veterinarian said it was the worst case of Dysplasia she had ever seen in a dog. Had a second Vet review the x-rays and he said it was not the worst case he had seen but the dog definitely had Dysplasia. Cindy, typically, refuted both Vets but refused to show the x-rays to her own Vet or any Vet of her choice. I will pay to have the dog x-rayed again under anesthesia as Cindy is demanding. The Vet said, in this case, it will not change the outcome only the severity of the Dysplasia will be established. Also, she fraudulently kept $3500.00 I paid for Service Dog Training entered on the contract she drew up. I contacted her 3 times to get the dog to her for training. First time, her mother was sick and she was in Florida. I waited two months and contacted her again. Her mother had passed and she could not take the dog. I had to start her with another trainer and paid for that training. The third time I contacted her to do the Service Dog Training she stated she was "slammed" and could not take the dog for training. Once the training was completed by the world renowned trainer I engaged, I asked for my money back. She refused. Said she does not separate the dog from the training. That is not in the contract. Read all the "One" reviews and you will see a trend of her keeping money paid to her she would not return after not providing the service paid for. She claims that the dog was now "mentally Ill" because I started her training too early. Really? Mentally, the dog is fine and very well trained. VETERANS AND VETERANS ORGANIZATIONS, I am a Veteran who needed this Service dog as a Brace Dog. She has provided a dog with Dysplasia who, most likely cannot be a Brace Dog. And she kept money she did not earn as per the contract for training. Supposedly, as per the contract, she is obligated to take this dog back and provide another dog. She knows a bond has been established with this dog and I, most likely, will not be able to return the dog after all this time. Even if she did and I could, my attorney advises me not to trust her to fulfill any contractual obligation with a trained acceptable and healthy dog. Sadly, I agree. But, I hope any Veteran or Veteran Organization considering her line of dogs as Service Dogs, beware and consider going elsewhere. You will be well served elsewhere. read more

TLDR: Gave Cindy thousands in June 2021 & 7 months later, still no dog! As other reviews mentioned, she spends 20 min on the phone initially. In retrospect, it's just a sales pitch. To paraphrase, she told us, "Act now, I only have a few spots left for this upcoming litter." We paid her the full amt, expecting the litter to be born in the next week. However, time passed & she kept giving us excuses including "3 of my litters came up empty due to tainted dog food" & "my last set of litters did not produce any males." Yet...I found her advertising on the AKC website for 2 male puppies born in Sept 2021. Her response was: "I have several people...waiting for 8 months to get their puppies." She has multiple BBB & Facebook accounts. Negative reviews on Facebook magically disappear. I'll attach some photos (look at the dates of the emails) but due to pending legal action, our lawyer has advised us not to post everything. The biggest victims here are our daughters. They thought they would get a puppy for their Aug b-day, then they were asking Santa for puppy. To this day, Cindy has not given us a puppy. It is truly sad that there are people out there who will crush a child's heart just for some $$$. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! Cindy Kelly is a complete liar. She accepted my deposit without telling me that she would not refund it if my circumstances changed. There was never any mention of a contract. If there had been a contract stating that the deposit was non-refundable under any circumstances despite 8 months lead time, I would not have made a deposit. I never signed any contract, she never "held a puppy off the market," she continued advertising her upcoming litters, requesting deposits nonstop. I made a deposit in January 2021 for delivery in August 2021 and informed her 10 days later that I couldn't take the puppy. I had my attorney contact her by phone and she told him that she would refund $1,000 of my $3,500 deposit in April 2021, but she never did. She lied, never refunded a penny and now refuses to respond to phone calls or emails. She is a liar. The puppy was supposed to be delivered by end of summer, it is now June 2022. Don't do business with this woman, she is bad news. Thank goodness I didn't end up with one of her puppies, I highly doubt that she would honor any of the guarantees she makes. I contacted them about training my shepherd. My puppy likes to play and bites sometimes during her play. I've seen some aggression starting and explained this to her. She told me to put my boot to her head and if she ever bites to put her down! Anyone who promotes abuse to a dog should never be allowed to train a dog. I will never go there. I question how she trains her dogs. read more

Hands down the ONLY Breeder to go to if you want a German Shepherd Dog. Cindy, the owner, was kind enough to allow me to be the proud mother of my boy, Gunnar. He's my very first GSD so I wanted to do it "the right way." Cindy is the German Shepherd queen, she breeds the most beautiful dogs with the best temperaments. When I met her I had no idea she was a breeder, I was just admiring her outstandingly behaved german shepherd, Stone- in the middle of a very busy horse show he sat there quietly as she got her daughters saddle fixed. I asked her a few questions about the breed since I always dreamed of owning my own one day and she patiently answered every question- when we parted that day she said "when your ready to get one here's my card, I'm a breeder." It was meant to be ! About a month went by and I crossed paths with her at another horse-show in CT this time. This time she had Stone & the most perfect baby boy puppy for sale. One look at him and I knew he was the one! She sold him to me and gave my boyfriend and I EVERY BIT OF INFO. YOU'LL EVER NEED TO KNOW. It wasn't a quick sale and "see ya! Have fun with your puppy!." Cindy truly cares HOW you raise your pup, from feeding to training to vet care ETC. ETC. She since has promptly answered every minor, tedious, question I've texted her happily, because she cares that much. She truly wants me to call/text her with updates, she doesn't just say it for fluff. Lastly, with the purchase of my pup comes a rigorous training session where he's sent back down to her for about two weeks (when he's eight months old and ready for that type of training) then she sends him back to me even better trained and well mannered. Getting any puppy is a big choice, especially when getting a GSD. There are so many backyard breeders out there that make lots of false promises and post cute pictures and sell you a poorly bred, badly disposition dog which will have major health issues down the road. It's all about how they're bred and how they're raised/trained- Regis Regal has that covered plus some. She's also the only breeder who gives 100% health and hip guarantee on every pup since she's been doing this for over 30 years. If you're making the best choice of your life and adding a German Shepherd puppy to your family there is no other breeder than Cindy and Regis Regal. I placed a deposit on a dog, The whelping date came and past , calling Cindy several times she never returned my call three weeks later I was told the puppies had passed and she wasn't going to return my deposit, she had to go through her Accountant first, that was a waste of $2000 horrible people. This is a puppy mill in disguise... We were in a trap. She is false advertising and just like the other victim. Made us feel like this was the fancy the real thing.... NOT.... she is rude comes up with lies confuses all her customers and never had an idea who she was talking to. She also took our big deposit. 7k for a dog. We waited months. She claimed all her litter did not make it due to poor food. etc. We wanted from a certain litter but she will pick it for you not you pick.. that was false advertising on her website.. She writes TBT ( so she can give you any litter) on the contract. Excuse after excuse we finally got our puppy I just wanted the nightmare to end.... as to no cash refund. We got our puppy sick and underweight. Again every excuse she extended the time for us to take the dog home and that had to be why without explaining. We had to wait for the puppy to be 12 weeks old. We also didn't pick our puppy or know which puppy was ours until pickup. She just hands dogs off. I'm sure she did not check temperments. Didn't let us in the building at all. I'm sure there had to be tons and tons of sick dogs in there. I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but I just couldn't after seeing she had dogs for sale that were born at the time she told us there were none ( all died). She is money hungry she is trying to live a luxurious horseback riding life and is stealing deposits in the hope people will probably leave the deposits and run... And yes like the other person we were the last person to take a spot on the litter. I want to warn people before they get screwed. AKC website shows real true breeders. My husband and I lost our GSD Zobrist to IBD. I was distraught and my husband started looking for a new fur baby since he knows I need a pet. Beyond happy with our puppy from Regis Regal. I've never met a puppy more well behaved. He's only 13 weeks and almost completely potty trained, listens to every command given, and can be trusted with our 5 and 1 year old. He has never jumped or nipped at fingers. On top of all that he is incredibly gorgeous! Besides the puppy of our dreams we also got an outstanding Breeder/trainer who has gone above and beyond. Cyndi has returned all our phone calls promptly and always lets us know exactly what to do when we need help and she never makes us feel like we are bothering her. She truly knows her dogs and loves them all. I can't wait to take Chief to one of her puppy socialization classes and watch us all grow together. We left our dog for training for 3-5 weeks. It ended up 9 weeks and the dog is scared of everything. She also lost 12 lbs over this period and now she is skin and bones and afraid of her own shadow. Few days later we discovered that her neck still has unhealed wounds. I suspect that this is from "professional collar" The " trainer" is very unprofessional big mouth woman cruel to animals in my opinion. She promises a lot but these were just promises. In the very beginning when we got the dog the papers did not match and I could not register with AKC. She was confused, she didn't remember know who the parents were of our dog. I personally don't trust this person any word she says. I do not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to buy a dog and then destroyed 10 months later. What she has taught my dog is to sit and lay down and the dog does it because she is in fear that she will be abused again. The dog is not as confident as she was 9 weeks ago. read more
