Chemicals not accepted at the nearby Burnaby Eco Centre are referred here. I have a load of grandma's 1950's - 80's consumer products not accepted here either. The guy says they must be marked with modern icons (like skull & crossbones, corrosive symbol, etc.) or not accepted. Is there an ethical way to dispose of antique cans of flooring adhesives, wood stain, etc? Zero cooperation or advice from Regional Recycling so any wonder well-meaning folks just give up and dump it in Still Creek?
