I give it 4 stars and not 5 only Because the previous restaurant that was here was a 5 star and I can't help but compare the 2. What would make this place 5 star is if they improved on customer service. The food is amazing that deserves 5 stars hands down. I'm so glad they did quality didn't downgrade when the businesses transferred over. I literally come here once a week I'm obsessed their chef must be AMAZING!! The customer service is a hit and miss. Sometimes the girls working are nice but there is particularly one girl at the front that has a weird attitude and just either hates her job or hates me I'm not sure. The male staff is amazing and the manager (I think he's the manager) is super nice. The prices went up from before but the place also looks a lot better so that's probably why they had to compensate which I understand. Either way this place is better than most jerk places in all of mississauga and I would recommend it to others and I'm a regular there. read more

The food is nice, but the service is really awful. The lady at the counter spoke very softly and quickly, and it seemed like she was teasing the customers. I asked if I could dine in, and she said yes. However, after I sat in the booth, she came up to me and said they were about to close and asked if I could take it to go. I was shocked and said that I had already tipped after she confirmed I could dine in. She just stared at me and did nothing, as if she was waiting for me to change my answer. Then I said I would eat quickly. She said, "Okay, fine." While I was ordering, she asked if I was a DoorDash driver because I was looking at the menu on my phone. I take no pleasure in writing this review, but I have to be honest as a loyal patron of Reggae Fusion for several years and having introduced several of my friends to this restaurant. I have to advise of my latest experience at the restaurant, June 13, 2026. The food has gone severely downhill. I went with a friend around 5:00pm in the afternoon we ordered a Jerk Chicken meal and Fried Chicken meal. Both meals were served with Rice and Peas which was overcooked and mushy. The rice had the consistency of pudding and was disgusting, it did not need to be chewed at all it was that soft. The jerk chicken was not bad but could have used more seasoning. The problem was the fried chicken. The fried chicken I was served, was called hard.And clearly had not been prepared that day. When I complained and brought my plate back up to the counter, and expressed my concerns. My plate with the rice on it was simply put into the microwave for a few minutes and served back to me. The chicken, of course, held no heat as it was already cold and being nuked for 2 minutes is not going to help. You can imagine what putting soft mushy rice in the microwave did to worsen its consistency. We went on a Saturday night when the restaurant next door was too busy, and we enjoy Caribbean food so we thought it was a good second option. It was completely empty, so we were told to sit wherever we wanted. When the server came to take our order, one of us ordered a shrimp pasta, but they didn't have any fish or pasta that day. So she asked for a poutine, but they didn't have any poutine. Another one of us ordered the jerk pork, but they didn't have any pork. A couple of us ordered chicken patties, but they didn't have any chicken patties, only beef. Half the menu was unavailable, and on a Saturday night. And that's something that should be told when we're given the menus. The jerk chicken and fusion potatoes were good. The curried goat was decent, but the actual curry didn't have too much flavour. In the lighting, which seemed like blue light, the food did not look appetizing. The rice and beans were also bland. The patties were the flattest patties I've ever seen, and the outside pastry dry. On the menu they said $2.00 (which is not worth it), but when I looked at the receipt, I saw they were $2.50 (which is extra not worth it). The server wasn't outwardly rude, but she was inattentive, unsmiling, quiet and just didn't seem like she wanted to be there. The constant rejection of orders also did not give a good impression, especially as she didn't provide apologies or other recommendations. When we wanted to get her attention, we fully had to shout a couple times and the restaurant is not large. The next time we wanted her attention, one of us just went up to her. Though the jerk chicken was good, better Caribbean restaurants can be found. Won't be back. read more

Food is excellent quality and authentic. Standouts include the red pea soup and festivals. Patties when available are flaky and fresh. Portion sizes are generous especially the lunch special. Service is good I have no complaints. read more

I was suppose to go to another restaurant because I was feeling for some jerk chicken but that particular restaurant was closed that day. So what did I do? I whipped out my phone and yelped the nearest Carribean food joint and it led me to this restaurant. When I walked in, the place was completely dead. I placed my order for jerk chicken and waited. I think the service that the girl behind the counter gives based on what other reviewers rant about is pretty accurate. She never made eye contact with me nor did I get the friendly vibe from her. But anyway, once I got my food I was out the door. Overall, the jerk chicken was pretty good but it was a tad salty. I did asked for extra gravy but I've had extra gravy at other places and it was never this salty. I will probably go there again if I'm ever in a pinch but most likely won't be my first choice. read more

I have been passing this place for the last few months and decided to try it out today. Ordered a jerk chicken with rice and peas. Right away I noticed how extremely salty the chicken was and how the rice and peas was so bland. That is when I stuck a piece of wire in my mouth with my food. Unbelievable first and LAST experience. You should be quite ashamed to serve food like this with metal debris. Thank god I didn't swallow it or I most likely would be in the hospital right now. AMENDED VERSION: I wrote a bad review for Raggae Fusion months ago because it was closed on a Sunday, when the Yelp app said it would be open. Since then I have decided to give RF another go......and boy am I glad I did. I tried their oxtail, as I feel if your oxtail is good then anything else can be as well. The oxtail was DELICIOUS! The following week I tried the Jerk chicken.....twice! Amazing! I will certainly be frequenting Raggae Fusion for the foreseeable future. Glad I live close by. read more

Attended this restaurant about three 3-weeks ago for breakfast and tried the ackee and salt fish w/food and a dumpling. Man this was a great and I really enjoyed it! I also attended today (Apr 3) and had a large jerk chicken dinner w/oxtail gravy, spot on with the jerk seasoning and cooking and the rice and peas was just right. The portions are a little smaller than some of the neighbouring caribbean restaurant, but I think I am hooked on this place, for now. Give it a try and be your own critic. I tried this place after driving by it so many times stopped in for some jerk chicken rice and peas , place looked clean well organized and some nice fish tanks on display ,however was disappointed with the poor customer service ,very laid back unprofessional person behind counter ,food was presented well but having eaten at at least a dozen caribean places the jerk was probably the top 3 worst I have had ,lacked flavor and not typical for caribean jerk chicken very small portion of rice but must say Cole slaw was fabulous , probably won't spend $14 dollars for this dish again read more

We were really hungry looking for some good food in Mississauga, but did not want no fast food. We came across Reggae fusion 2 months ago and now i been there more than 5 times. Their staff are really friendly, food is super delicious! You could definitely tell there is alot of love and passion put into the meals they cook.
